Beautifully restored and carefully furnished home with just 4 guest rooms in a quiet street just off the Medina. Very welcoming hosts and staff. Absolutely gorgeous home. Merci beaucoup Gisele and Philippe.

The riads typically have all bedrooms face the inner court yard, as this one does too. Other ones we have stayed in had an open roof. Here the air circulation was limited due to a semi enclosed glass roof. I found the room a bit stuffy. In the end we just left Windows and doors open all the time to have better air circulation. This gave not much privacy but the curtains helped. Just wanted to share this slight issue. Would book again though as the rest is outstanding.

Lovely stay here. Breakfast was exceptional with a different home baked treat every day. Lovely touches in the room, fresh water, dates, cookies etc. Really good location, would absolutely recommend.

Our stay at the Riad Emotion was absolutely fabulous, we would have loved to stay longer! The owners are a super nice couple from France that moved to Essaouira years ago and created a beautiful, modern Riad in the hard of the Medina. Everything in this Riad is beautiful, from the furniture, to the ceiling and floor, to the books, music and light - such a perfect attention to detail, it's an environment where you truly want to stay and enjoy! The rooms are super nice, spacious, comfortable and there you will find water, cookies and dates. The breakfast is delicious, served on the rooftop terrace, once again in a beautiful setting. Thank you to the owners for such a wonderful stay!!

Staying at Gisele's and Philippe's riad was an experience for all senses. Not only they are great hosts, but they also made sure to create a perfect place to relax full of nice smells, art, and small details. The riad is literally in the middle of medina and close to everything. Awww, and the breakfast was absolutely exceptional.

The riad is well located in the center of the Medina. When you enter the riad you have an immediate sense of peaceful, quiet place. Everything well decorated by the lovely owners. You can see that everything was chosen from the heart . Sadly we had just 1 night there but I'm sure I'll come again. The room is perfect and all very clean and pleasant

Perfect location in the middle of the Medina. Very welcoming host and attentive, friendly staff. Beautiful decorations and furniture. A real home from home. Lovely smell of oranges everywhere. Fantastic breakfast and bottomless coffee and tea. Very comfortable bed and very quiet at night. Lovely rooftop Terrasse with sunhats provided on a variety of chairs, sofas and sunloungers.

Could be cleaner - lots of tiled floors everywhere looking rather dusty. Not sure whether our floor was ever wet wiped during our 3 night stay.
