It was as expected for a 'pet friendly' accom, anyone with a pet who needs pet friendly accom will know what I mean, but the downside is the parking, the listing should really come with a warning about the road up to the house, anything bigger than a ford focus and you will run the risk of clipping a bumper, try to get into it with a bmw 5 series or larger and you are going to be in trouble, and in a ford transit van you are definitely in trouble, no warning signs at the beginning of the lane showing width restrictions, I must have caused over a thousand euros worth of damage to bumpers and panels, and I am used to driving around Portugal after being here for 3 years.................it needs mentioning on the listing, or come into the village at the top end and park outside the cafe and walk the 200yrds or so to the house.

Good value for the money. Confortable with good facilities. The house is cool in hot days.

The street to get there is very narrow. Not easy to drive to there.

Great hospitality with a very friendly check in. Lots of extra spoils included, fresh flowers and cake were a wonderful homely touch. Jorge and his family made us feel very welcome.

Exactly what we were looking for. A calm and charming village with a wonderful host, and only 15 mins by car from Coimbra, as well as being close to interesting villages and monuments. A welcome bottle of wine and homemade pastries was an added bonus.

The owner was very nice, he fixed a light in the kitchen that wasn’t working as soon as I got there.

The host is a exceptional person! Everything was perfect. I was welcomed with a delicious dish, a bottle of wine and a portuguese cake. Jorge really gives his best to feel the guests comfortable. He offered once a week to clean the house and presented me another cake. The house is in a quiet beautiful old town and in the evening you hear nothing! It has more than you need and the location is great surrounded by nature.

It was the best place for our whole trip. The apartment is located in a very quite place, surroundings is very beautiful. There is everything you need in the apartment, even more). It was very pleasant to see a dishwashing machine. Jorge is the best host, very friendly! He brought us some cherry from his garden, gave a bottle of wine, and his wife prepared the sausage pie. We enjoyed staying in the apartment. I strongly recommend to choose this place to relax there).
