Easy access to the airport if you have an early flight out. Beach at the end of the street, convenience store on the corner.

Facilities a little long in the tooth, some refurbishing needed. Budget furniture, bath towels thin.

We had a great stay, AnemosSuites is a comfortable place, very close to the airport, well equipped for a family and located close to the beach. Cafes, shops are all nearby and Giorgos is always welcoming and provides recommendations. An ideal place to start a longer trip throughout Crete. We hope to be able to come back soon!

Great location meters from the beautiful beach with small islands. Plane spotting. Beautiful territory. Nearby restaurant Olga suggested by the reception was very good. Free upgrade to a big 1-bedroom apartment from the studio. Two showers. Very kind guy at the reception. Not far from the airport and from the city. Nice and safe neighborhood.

Me and my kids were absolutelly satisfied. We came earlier (9:00) than there was check in, but no problem, we could keep our luggage in very cosy reception, change in spacious toilet there and go to wonderfull beach nearby. The room was ready earlier than at check in time, so Giorgos (very willing, kind and helpful person, the truly treasure of this accomodation) the owner, let us know through Whatsapp. The room was clean, very spacious, cosy, with lovely patio. Towels and blankets were provided. It has small kitchen with basic equipment (I was missing just sharp knife there). But there is absolutely lovely Tavern next to the reception, so except for breakfast you dont have to use the kitchen. The Suite has lovely pool area, clean, with comfortable cushioned deckchairs and a cozy corners with curtains. I could control my kids by the pool from our room patio. Everything is tastefully furnished. Anemos is very close to the beach - a minute walk away. The beach is very nice, sandy, suitable for small children - there is a stylish bar with very nice staff, sunshades, beach volleyball, music … it was not overcrowded at all (27.9). The Tavern next to Anemos is very nice, nicely furnished (white furniture under a vover of trees) with very nice staff and tastfull meals. There is also huge playground (as a part of the restaurant), with f.e. bouncy castle, climbing frames, trampolines and so on. Happy kids do not disturb restaurant guests while using the playground, cos the restaurant is really large. There are 2 minimarkets right next to Anemos, on main street, which is very useful and also public bus station (to the airport 15 min, to the centre of the city app. 20 min, bus goes every half hour).

The staff are very friendly and helpful. I was travelling alone and George and Alex in particular where there to offer advice. Nothing was too much trouble. I felt very relaxed and safe. The hotel is close to the beach where there is a beach bar which was lovely. The hotel is about a 15 minute bus journey (bus stop is right outside hotel) from Heraklion. If you are looking for a chilled, relaxed holiday this is perfect.

absolutely amazing. room was so nice and clean bathroom and shower clean. a shop a one minute walk that sells everything you could possibly need, 3 beach bars at a walking distance and a bonus that the food is so nice at the hotel too. kitties live there too so if you’re an animal lover it’s perfect. George was helpful and amazing I cannot wait to come back. shout out George!

The highlight of staying here is most definitely Giorgos. He is the welcome host, very friendly and helpful with any information you may need. Having this place to stay very close to Heraklion airport was extremely beneficial especially when arriving late in the evening and early morning departure.

Our original holiday was due to go ahead in June, where we were staying in Agia Pelagia for the whole trip. It was postponed due to an injury my husband had, and as pricing went up, we decided to stay closer to the airport and Heraklion for 4 days so we could explore the area via bus and opted out of hiring a car. This was absolutely worth it, and the best decision we could have made! The suite was beautiful. A lovely view of the sea, very spacious and clean. Giorgos was so lovely and helpful with anything we needed. The housekeeper came to clean daily, when we returned to the suite it was always very clean. The pool was gorgeous and quiet, and plenty of chairs to lounge on. They also have a restaurant next door with cocktails and great food and a few minutes walk from the beach. And next door to 2 shops for small essentials, and next to the bus stop where the bus takes you right into Heraklion centre. We would absolutely stay again!

Loved it here 😍 the pool area, bar, restaurant & staff were lovely. 1 minute to the beach & a good location as your not far at all from the airport & town.

The only small thing is that the shower head was broken & kept falling down. Also no shower curtain so the bathroom got soaked when having a shower, but just cleaned it up. Only small, as my whole stay was great.

My partner and I visited Anemos Suites on our final night of our holiday in Crete, and we were not disappointed! Upon arrival we were given an upgraded suite free of charge which was a beautiful gesture by the team because they wanted to make our last night special. The location was quiet and just a 1 minute walk from the beach. Anemos has a good size pool with ample seating for all the guests, as well has an open restaurant and bar. The suite itself was immaculate with a huge shower and great balcony overlooking the pool. The bed was comfy and the living area was big enough for a family. Our only regret is that we only had 1 night in Anemos, but we will definitely be back

The swimming pool area was clean, comfortable and beautiful. Lovely to spend time there. The rooms are cozy, we were upgraded for a better one by George who was also very kind, hospitable and helpful throughout our stay. We had a quiet, relaxing week at the Anemos Suites, would return anytime.

George was the best host, I had a problem with lost baggage and he spent half an hour on the phone trying to help find it for me he was very hospitable and friendly, also helped organise a taxi transfer late at night from the airport - very helpful! highly recommend

The room was very nice. The hotel is next to a beautiful beach and next to cicada seascape, a beautiful place to enjoy.

The location is 3 in walking from a nice beach and the bus station is right outside the building. There is also a small supermarket on the back of the building. Very convenient if you don't have a car. Taxi to Heraklion is just 18€.

Sadly there is no way to get anything for breakfast also because the kitchenette in the room (at least the one we got) was not equipped enough to prepare or eat it in the apartment. You have to go to the bar on the beach. It would be great to have a simple but efficient snack bar on the pool.

The pool area was perfect for the kids and relaxing. The location was very close to the beach. Plenty of parking was available for guests. The restaurant was great with kids and the food and service was very good. The hotel staff were friendly. It was good value for money.

The studio kitchen was minimalist, but did the job. The air conditioning water from the apartments above dripped down to the sitting area.

Friendly and welcoming staff ( manager and waiters). The resort is 2 minutes walk from the sea, there is a spacious swimming pool. Room was big with balcony and everything was new, including a walking shower. The garden restaurant has a lot of choice and we recommend the mix grill which was fantastic.

A car is needed to move around and to visit the most important attractions ( Cnossos and Heraklion). Luckily we rented a car!
