I used this property for a leadership group of 14. The house has so much space and it was meticulously clean. It was a great central location for us so that worked great. It’s not necessarily conveniently located in terms of tourist things to do but It’s the kind of place you wouldn’t mind spending a lot of time at. And it’s not super far from some great activities.

Background- We do couples and womens retreats all over the country. We have rented well over 30 properties in the last 15 years. This is the first home that literally had everything we needed! They were not only accommodating, responsive, and timely. They were over prepared. They had extra spices, toiletries, towels, ice maker, sauces, etc. The pool was cleaned while we were there and they did an amazing job.
If i had anything negative it may have been that the grill was not cleaned when we arrived but this was an easy fix that i didnt even let them know about because everything else overshadowed that one thing. This home is beautiful! It was 14 women and we had more than enough room and i would not only give 5 stars i would say there are not a lot of houses that have the extra touch like they provide! It was amazing!

Our family members ranged from 2 to 87 yrs old, and the house had something for all of us! The pool was wonderful, and the outdoor “living room”was a particular favorite spot. The kitchen was spacious, with plenty of storage and two refrigerators! The location was great, with so many options for shopping and dining. We recently vacationed at this lovely property in GA hosted by Julie and Kevin. We have a somewhat large family and try to choose a new location every few years so that we can spend a week together. This home and property exceeded our expectations! We have 4 adult children, along with their families, and the home accommodated us well; it was spacious, beautiful, and inviting. We loved the large kitchen, the pool, outdoor cooking area, and various areas to relax. We were close to many attractions such as golf, Margaritaville, and some wonderful restaurants/breweries. Julie and Kevin were quick to respond to any questions we had and were very kind. We are so happy to have spent another family vacation together, in a beautiful home in which we created many fond memories! We are grateful for the hospitality and won’t soon forget our time in Gainesville.

Our stay was ok. The house was big enough for a group of 15 people. There is plenty of room. Love the 2nd fridge in the laundry room. The kitchen has plenty of appliances which was a plus for us. Now the next things I am about to say does not change my mind about how beautiful and big this house is.
The things we did not like as a group, were some of the mattresses. Some of the ladies complain about how extremely soft some of them were and complain about body pain. And me being a pregnant woman, the mattress was not the most comfortable. Also the heat did not really work but we had plenty of covers.
But overall, it was a wonderful stay.

My 10-person family (spanning 4 households) with ages ranging from 8-70 thoroughly enjoyed our time at Kevin & Julie’s beautiful home. The floor plan was ideal for all of the nuclear families within our family. Plenty of space indoors and out to enjoy together and to carve out some “me” time. Great indoor spaces for the adults to savor morning coffee, for the kids to have arts & crafts, and for us all to enjoy family game nights and movie nights. We had fun in the backyard, playing volleyball during the day and making s’mores around the fire pit at night. The kitchen was perfect for preparing large family-style meals. I personally enjoyed the versatility of the shower in the non-master bathroom on the main floor: offering rainfall, jets and handheld options. It was my peaceful oasis. From the young to the young at heart, from the introvert to the extrovert, and from the homebody to the outdoorsy type, there was literally something for everybody. To top it all off, Kevin & Julie were very responsive and helpful before and during stay. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts!

Our long weekend at Sweet Tea Estate was fantastic for a family get together of 11 with ages 10-82. The house was perfect! A beautiful kitchen and living space, bedrooms, all with comfy beds and an outside entertainment space that the kids and adults loved. The pool was great and was used practically every minute of the days we were there, plus the volleyball area, table tennis, fire pit and the excellent grill set up. It was home for a few days and was exactly what we all needed. We wish we had booked for longer!

The house and property were both beautiful and comfortable. It was large enough for our group of 12 adults to relax in their own space, but also be able to gather together. When searching for properties, I specifically looked for a house with a large dining room table so we could sit together. We were able to enjoy meals around the dining room table and also used the lovely patio areas. The kitchen is nicely equipped with plenty of cabinet and refrigerator space. We also had fun using the ping pong table and sitting around the fire pit.

Everyone instantly felt comfortable and we were blessed with a gorgeous spring weekend in Georgia. We especially enjoyed the ability for us to all eat together at one table, and the variety of gathering places for groups. It was so easy to find, and there was nothing that we lacked. The grandchildren loved seeing the deer in the woods and taking their baths in the "indoor pool" (a.k.a. the master bath tub). Everyone enjoyed their stay.

Each January, my friends and I take a weekend to gather for an extended time together. It's a time with no expectations except to enjoy each other's company. We typically end up in a mountain home. This was our first venture to Gainesville. We wondered if we would miss the mountains; turns out, we didn't! The house was great. We loved the large dining table, spacious kitchen, and plenty of seating areas. It was a bit cold to enjoy the outdoors for long, but we managed to sit bundled-up in the sun for a couple hours. Great outdoor space.

My family stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate my son’s birthday. The house is better than advertised, and it was the perfect gathering space for our group of 11. Everyone can have their private space while still allowing large areas to be together. We could all sit comfortably in the kitchen for meals. Every detail has been thought out and prepared for, including pool accessories and towels. The owners were extremely responsive and took care of the simple requests we had during our stay. I would highly recommend staying in this home. Beautiful, secluded views make you feel like you’re in the mountains.

Pictures are very accurate. Kitchen and outdoor pool area are phenomenal. A very clean, stocked and well maintained house! Owners very responsive. Only negative is access to the lake (there is none- you have to drive to get to lake access or to take a walk on a not busy street), but they are clear about that in their description. This was just more of a preference for our family. Gainesville has everything you need; it’s a busy area, but very convenient. Downtown historic square is just a few short miles away and has some really fun spots. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a beautiful property. The house is just as described. The pool was wonderful. It was close enough for shopping and for doing other activities. We visited Lake Lanier and enjoyed the activities there.

Our family of 10 had a wonderful time at Sweet Tea! It’s located in a very quiet neighborhood & close to stores & restaurants. We LOVED the back yard oasis! The saltwater pool was a huge hit as well as the gorgeous house inside. The kitchen is very nice & big. Had everything we needed to make our meals. Beds were comfy & we all had plenty of room to relax throughout the house. The owners were very helpful & always available for us if we needed them. Thank you for a great vacation!! 👍🏻

Beautiful home
We enjoyed all the amenities as described within this beautiful spacious home. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood with quick access to all the stores and restaurants you could possibly want. Our large party of 4 families had adequate room to enjoy our family time while allowing plenty of space to get away from the hubbub if needed. Wonderful property!

Beautiful natural retreat!
This host thought of everything and the location was dreamy. So much wildlife and scenery to enjoy while we gathered as a work team. At least one coworker said that their bed was the most comfortable bed they had ever slept in. Hopeful it is available for our next trip back to Atlanta for a work conference.
