Difficult to lower the air conditioning: it was too cold in the room

Beautiful location, really well located and plenty of transport options and elements suggested.

Due to covid all the facilities in the hotel except for the restaurant were shut. I would suggest this could’ve been advertised ahead of time.

Overall a clean and comfortable facility

A few hotel employees need more training to handle guests’ requirements, e.g. those for the first floor Italy restaurant. What surprises me is that when I was doing exercise in the gym late at night the young boy who supposedly should be on duty looking after the recreation center went to swim instead leaving the whole center unattended.

Impressive hotel with good facilities in Changzhou. Room is nice with a good view from the 42nd floor. Breakfast was good. Had beef noodle soup in the bar which was very nice.

Reception staff seemed slow and not very attentive. When I arrived I was second in line to check in. Still awaited 30 minutes before I was seen to. Staff appeared to be arguing with a group of Chinese guests also checking in. They also then quite happily serve other Chinese guests before you who push in the queue. If it wasn't for an attentive bellboy pointing out to them how long I'd been waiting I think I could easily have stood there over an hour. Asking for a taxi to three Traders Hotel seemed to give them some urgency. Maybe staff need more training. Not the hotels fault but guests barge into the lifts before you've got out. Seemed worse than anywhere else in China. Despite being a no smoking hotel, you could smell smoke coming from rooms along from mine.
