Proximity to my Access Bank Lagos City Marathon start line and the kind light skinned male cleaner who helped find my lost Powerbeats Pro headset.

This is the only hotel I have ever stayed in where the room is not cleaned in the morning. I left for my marathon at 6am and returned at 2pm looking forward to some rest after running 42km only to find that my room had not been cleaned. The front desk fellow when asked why, acted aloof about it and said they don’t clean rooms in the morning. Unbelievable!!! I ordered Afang with catfish and I was given a nasty tasting catfish that was already dead before it was cooked, with a watery plate of what I can only describe as abominable leftover soup. All the meals we ordered during our stay arrived more than one hour after they were ordered and some as long as 2hrs. The safe box had no default code so we couldn’t use it to store our valuables. We mentioned this to the front desk and he said the person with the code had gone home and he never attended to it again. The DSTV continually went off and we had to call the front desk 3 times on that matter. All our meals clearly ordered by 2 occupants for 2 occupants arrived with only one cutlery throughout our stay and we had to continually ask for a second set. I asked for stew without pepper and I was given the complete opposite triggering my ulcers before my marathon.

I noticed that the discounts offered on Booking.com website was not applied upon getting to the hotel. Guests are required to pay full day rate of whatever day they arrived.

Location is good.

I booked their Alaka property but they took me to their annex at Mba street, Surulere. Comfort was zero. They don't turn on their generator until around 6pm. It was a horrible experience to check in around 4pm and wait in discomfort in a room for 2hrs.

Breakfast was okay but I feel breakfast should be available for one guest if the original occupant has a guest

I was at the ground floor where people pass behind my window, They chat loudly and disturb my rest even late in the night, The cleaner too makes a lot of noise, while cleaning outside sorrounding as early as 6am

My stay was great but the meal wasn’t fantastic. I didn’t enjoy the egusi soup. It tasted partly cooked.

Location is nice, room is well furnished

The cleaning wasn't done properly, there was some dust in different parts of the room
