What a great home. It had everything we needed to fully relax for the week with the kiddos. Can't beat the location being super close to the beach. Also really nice being near grocery stores, mini golf, and lots of restaurants. Host was awesome and made the trip seamless. Highly recommend this home for a relaxing vacation.

We had a wonderful time at Cochran's Corner. It's a lovely home right near the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the multiple decks and watching the ocean. The kitchen was well stocked and the house had all the amenities that we needed.

The owner, Howard, was amazing ! We had a few minor issues at the beginning of the stay, but he was very responsive and got them taken care of immediately. The house was beautiful , well kept and was in a really good location across the street from the beach . The weather could have better …. But that’s out of anyone’s control … 😳

Fantastic trip to OBX. Great stay at Cochan's Corner. The house felt lived in, but fresh. Many memories have been made at that property and you could feel them in the atmosphere. Plenty of space to find a nook for some quiet time and a great living room to pend time together.

We were instantly impressed with the house, it's proximity to the beach and all the features that made it so easy and perfect. It's beautifully decorated, very comfortable in living and sleeping spaces, the kitchen and bathrooms are just great, and we were amazed by how quiet it was, inside the house (because it's near the road, we thought maybe there would be some noise, but it's well insulated). The shower underneath the home kept sand where it belongs, and, overall, it seems like the house was built with every aspect of convenience in mind. We loved it and hope to return!

So happy to have found Cochran’s Corner! The place was very clean, bright and welcoming. Loved how easy it was to walk straight across Virginia Dare Trail to the beach. The owner, Howard, was quick to answer any questions and we thought it was very kind of him to let his guests borrow their beach chairs and umbrellas. Also the cart, which made it super easy to wheel everything to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property just steps away from the beach. Beach was wonderful and not overly crowded. Owner was great to work with and very helpful! Had a couple rainy days but plenty of things to do in the area. Tons of small shops and great restaurants nearby. Would definitely book again!!

took grandkids for first their first ever trip to obx and couldnt have worked any better perfect location at mile post 7 on corner lot directly across street from beach access and blocks away from anything you need nice views from deck and our host howard was great

Perfection
I went with my teenage nephew and his friend, and they loves this place. It right across the street from beach access and lots of stuff to do around the property. Super comfortable furniture and beds. We didn't even mind bringing bed sheets and bath towels. The property owner is AMAZING! Communications were prompt and they were always available to answer any questions. I have already started looking for future dates to stay here.

Wonderful location! Able to sit on deck and see the ocean. Short stroll across the street to beach access.
Size and layout of house is perfect for family. Can tell this has been a well loved family vacation home by all the family photos throughout the house.
Could use some updates and deep cleaning. But overall a nice place and Howard is quick to respond to any questions. First time using a VRBO where I had to bring my own linens but was not a problem.

Comfortable cottage
Nice spot for our annual getaway with Mom and sis. Mom's a homebody and loved the ocean views from the living room and deck. Sis and I enjoyed proximity to Nags Head Woods, bars/breweries, fishing pier, and beach. I gave the location 4 stars, because Mom didn't love the "traffic" along the beach road, but she's not used to hearing more than three cars per day! We would stay again, particularly if sis and I come with friends. Property owner is a delight! Really comfortable beds, too.

Perfect family home getaway
My husband and I stayed here with our almost two-year-old child during Thanksgiving week, and we could not have picked a better home for our stay! The home is spacious, yet cozy. Provides an ocean view out the front. Plenty of outside deck for chilling. Lots of parking and really convenient drive through driveway. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to come back again! We had no issues, loved the family home feel and Howard was super accommodating and responsive!

We found this property to be clean, comfortable and a great location for all OBX attractions. WiFi plus Netflix was appreciated especially after a day of sightseeing. Very nice accommodations.

Great relaxing obx beach getaway trip!
We had a great experience renting from these owners, they were super helpful with a couple requests @ checkin and out. The house is SO close to the beach - 5 min walk across the street which was so great with our 8 month old to pop over and back multiple times a day. Nice big decks facing the ocean too were so nice to relax on both in the mornings and evenings. Close to lots of great Kitty Hawk restaurants and the Wright Brothers National memorial. Outside shower setup was very nice and handy too!

Cozy Home Close to the Beach
The owner was great to communicate with. Everything about the rental process was so easy. The location of the home was awesome—a short walk across the street to the beach—and a great view of the ocean from the house decks. The home was very comfortable — felt like staying in a well-loved, lived-in home. It had some little dings and gently worn places but nothing that impacted the quality or comfort of our stay. The week went by too quickly! We all agreed we would enjoy returning to stay here again someday.
