Quiet, cozy place in the mountains embedded in a lot greenery. Home grown lemon grass and mint tea. Very friendly staff.

We really enjoyed our stay at Solid Rock - beautiful room, incredible views, delicious food (dinner on arrival was amazing! tasted so good!), and such welcoming friendly hosts. We were especially grateful for Simon’s suggestion of a walk down to Pharping through the mountains and prayer flags - so beautiful! Would definitely visit again if we are in the area in the future!

We loved it - nothing we didn’t like

After Kathmandu city turmoil a truely peaceful oasis. Don't expect fancy hotel standard but easy clean rooms with bathroom and hot shower, very good vegetarian bio food, solitude and nature, good hiking and temples and very kind hosts!

For me i don't have much needs it was perfect!

The location and situation are breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful and alive in the best possible way. The owners, Simon and Mina, are truly lovely people who understand what they have to share and are anxious to share it. The food by and large appeared to be grown right at the property and is very fresh and delicious. They are able to help out with all kinds of inquiries. And then there's Lucky, who is a local dog who appears to have accepted the role of looking after the guests. It's as close to magical as one is likely to find anywhere.

Nothing about the property, though i'm not such a fan of this question.

very kind family personal it makes you feel like home. they are making perfekt kitchen with their biofood, also let me in doing together with them and showing nepali recipes. very helpful for the trip there, the owner shows me the mountains ways to the monasteries, I really had a fun and enjoy. peaceful place full of kindness. I would like to come back and recommend everything.

The unique location of the hotel, incredible views around, mountains, lots of greenery and Buddhist monasteries are very close to the hotel. And a very cute dog Rokki, who accompanied us on walks :)

There were other expectations and it seems to me that the quality does not match the price. Sometimes it was very cold in the room, because there was no hot water in the shower on cloudy days, and there is no heating system in the room.
