This house was perfect for my family’s needs! My husband and I stayed along with our 5-year-old and 4-month old. Everything was very clean and well equipped. Our son loved the private little beach at the end of the road and looking for crabs. Eastern Point Beach is very close by too and the house comes with a beach pass, but for walk-ins only. We ended up driving and parking only because we have a lot of gear to lug with our kids. Eastern Point beach is extremely clean and very family friendly. The house is in a great location, close to local attractions such as the Sub base and Mystic. Would definitely book again!

Wonderful beach vacation. Loved being able to kayak to wherever we wanted to lay our towels House was immaculate and well stocked with everything you could need Area neighborhood was non touristy, the neighbors were all super nice Loved exploring Mystic, UConn Avery Point, The Mystic Seaport and all the side beaches where there were bands playing (Thurs) and fireworks (Fri) and all easy drives Loved it all!!

My family (2 adults and one toddler) stayed during the fourth of July weekend. The home was as described and the perfect quiet getaway. It is a 10-15 minute drive from Mystic, close to a small rocky beach down the street, and a mile walk (or drive) to Eastern Point Beach, which was the perfect calm setting where we were with other families with young children. JP was a great communicator, was quick to respond to any questions, and it was easy to navigate anything in the home. The kitchen was fully stocked, so we were able to make a quick grocery store trip and have meals in the home without issue. He also let us know of a local fireworks show that we all were able to enjoy. Neighbors were all friendly, always smiling and waving when we passed on our walks. There is a small local airport across the street, but we did not notice much air traffic or even hear many planes. We also love watching planes take off and land, so it was a little perk for us when we could catch them. The home was very clean. Fresh linens and bath towels were available if we needed. Very well done vacation rental. Perfect for a small family. Plenty to do within 15 minutes, even with a couple of rainy days in between. Would definitely love to stay here again. Great experience overall.

Our stay at JRs house was relaxing and pleasant. Check in was easy. The house was clean and stocked with the basic necessities. The kitchen had all the utensils and cookware that we needed. The space was the perfect size. Directions for anything we might need was clearly written out. Directions for the TV, air conditioner, etc. Lists of nearby activities, restaurants, beaches, etc were all provided. This house was conveniently located across the street from a kayak launch. This made it very easy to take out kayaks out and paddle around to a beach for some fishing and relaxing. We also enjoyed taking the short drive into Mystic for dinner and shopping. The one downfall was the queen bed. It was very stiff and uncomfortable. A small mattress topper would make the world of a difference. I would definitely stay here again

The property has water views from the living room, but is not on the water (the water is across the street), which makes it much safer to stay at with young kids. Eastern Point Beach is very kid friendly and has nice sand, and did not feel like a long walk (about a mile) even pulling a wagon with beach gear and a toddler. There is pay parking too if you do not want to walk. There are no restaurants within walking distance, but plenty to order delivery from. We also enjoyed exploring Groton and Mystic and found nice waterfront places to eat that were also kid friendly! Would highly recommend for families with young kids.

The home is Beautiful, well equipped and clean. The location is in a quiet neighborhood and the views are breathtaking. The kayaks were an added bonus and directly across the street was the entrance to the water, what a wonderful experience. We stayed for a long weekend in early June. Conveniently located ~15 minutes or less from everything (aquarium, beaches, hiking, etc). Perfect size for our family of 3. We were able to put our daughter to bed and enjoy drinks on the deck or a movie in the living room without disturbing her. This rental had all the little details covered -- from helpful cooking utensils to a step stool so my daughter could more easily reach the sink.

Cozy cottage, well equipped, quiet neighborhood , and convenient location all added up to the perfect getaway. Water access with kayaking to secluded beach was an added bonus. Highly recommended.

The house was perfect. We felt very safe, no one bothered us. The beach was beautiful. The kayaks were a lot if fun. We enjoyed going out to the islands on them. I will definitely be going back next year.

This is our second year staying in this home and it is second to none. Clean, comfortable, well appointed, amazing location and wonderful managers. Do not hesitate to rent, you will love it.

This cottage is just right for a couple or a family with one or two kids but I would not put two adults in the smaller bedroom. The place is very clean and has a well equipped kitchen; it's located in a pretty quiet (quasi-) cul de sac and provides a great view from the living room or the porch. There is not much around in walking distance but if that does not bother you, I highly recommend.

The place was as advertised, perfect. Small beach at the end of the road was nice to watch the boats and airplanes come and go. Access to the town beach and kayaks for exploring.

We loved our stay at this home. Our favorite part was watching the birds from the beautiful deck and walking down to the local beach with our two children to wade in the water and watch the boats. The home was perfectly equipped with all the luxuries of a nice hotel (comfortable beds, high quality sheets and towels, soap, etc.) but the coziness of your own home. The kitchen also had everything you need. Only thing missing was a place to dine outdoors. We would go back!

We loved this cottage! It was extremely clean and had everything we needed to make it a home for the week. We loved cooking in the kitchen and sitting on the rocking chairs on the porch. We even took the kayaks out one day! Great cottage and we’d love to come back.

This is a perfect little get away cottage. Beautifully renovated- felt like an HGTV after! Super convenient location- it was absolutely perfect!

We have rented vacation properties every year for the past 20 years and this house and location is by far the best we have stayed in. The house is spotless, equipped with everything you need and very comfortable.

Owner was very responsive with answers for any questions. The information book was super helpful to find sights we may not have found in our own. Home is fresh and clean and beautifully beachy! We would definitely go back 😀�

I hadn't explored any of the CT beaches, and randomly picked this rental because it looked cute and had the #1 feature I was looking for: walkable to the water. We found the house was exactly as described, but still exceeded our expectations. The street itself is quite nice, and has very little traffic. You see more people walking their dogs than you will see cars. The houses are all nicely kept and it has a great beach feel. There is a private beach at the end of the street that is rocky, but swimmable. It's the perfect place to spend an hour or two in the morning reading a book and admiring the view. At night, you can sit and have a fire while you watch the sun set. It's lovely. Eastern Point Beach is technically within walking distance (just under a mile) but would be challenging if you wanted to bring any gear. I would suggest you bring a wagon so you can bring chairs, a cooler, etc. Or just use the parking lot (fee will apply). That beach is large and has nice sand, and is great for swimming. Beach access & water views: A+ Now - the house. It's small, yes. But so thoughtfully done! The decor is beachy without being tacky - it's simple, bright, and classic. Everything has been redone and is modern - gorgeous kitchen, filled with every dish, pan or utensil you might need. The bedrooms are comfortable. The main bathroom has also been renovated and is gorgeous - the shower is wonderful. The beds and couch are all comfortable. While the house is small, we comfortable slept 4 and had an easy time hanging out - playing scrabble (again, a nice touch in the house is the selection of games), or sitting on the porch enjoying the view. When we needed to do laundry, we used the convenient washer & dryer. Everything has been thought of, making it one of the more enjoyable stays I've had in a rental. Overall, definitely an A+

This home is lovely, perfectly stocked and maintained for guests. Ideal for a family getaway. Close to everything you could possibly want to do and perfect for doing nothing at all but relaxing.

Four of us were in town to attend a festival for the long weekend. This home has been recently renovated and I must say that it has been beautifully done! Even the choice of paint colors was beautiful and reflected the water just across the street. The owner seems to have tried to think of everything you could possibly need here during your stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, dishwasher, dishes, glasses and cutlery. There is a french press and a Keurig (with refillable pod) so you have your choice of morning coffee. There is a washer and dryer for your use, extra blankets, linens and towels. There is a hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Two televisions with Roku if that interests you. The beds were new and very comfortable and we all (4 of us) slept well. My husband and sister-in-law took the two kayaks out for a nice trip around the bay and nearby island while my brother-in-law and myself attended the festival. The beach is just down the road and the home includes a walk in pass for 4. However, you should note that the parking is $30.00 and cash only. We made the mistake of assuming they would take a credit card but it was a quick trip back to the house to get cash. JP is an excellent communicator and responds quickly to the many inquiries I had. The front porch is a nice place to sit with either a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Lovely!

Beautifully decorated, CLEAN home. Had everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood. Great place to just relax and get away from it all. Homeowner was readily available for any questions.
