Stayed busy every day. With in an hour there were waterfalls, rivers, Caves, Blueberry Festival, Craft Breweries, Wineries, Skowhegan Fair, Eustis, Stratton, Kingfield, Newery, Grafton State Park, Rangley, Oquossoc, Small Falls,Swift River FAlls, Byron, Some of the nicest people we have ever met. The opportunity to bring my 2 dogs was appreciated and they enjoyed the trip. Lots to explore. Would recommend...... Thank You

Everything was as expected. Weather was oppressively hot (105 heat index) which we hadn’t anticipated, but there was plenty to do. Would definitely come again.

We had a wonderful time at this quaint little cabin! It was so peaceful and quiet. Everything about our trip to Maine was lovely! We are from Dallas and wanted to get away from the hustle bustle and heat!!! The owner, Carol, was so responsive to our needs and questions. I would highly recommend this Vrbo!!!!!!

I grew up near this area, so I was familiar with the area and what this part of Maine has to offer. I chose this property for my out-of-state family’s visit because of the water access and the quiet, wooded nature of the surrounding.
My family had a quiet, enjoyable stay. We were all surprised at some of the modern features that you don’t find at a “camp” on a small pond. The dish washer was an unexpected plus and the large capacity washer and dryer were very handy.
If I had advice for people looking at this listing who are addicted to their electronic devices, rural Maine is not up to speed with the rest of the country. There is WiFi available at this camp, but data speed is very slow and it was prone to periodic disruptions. I highly recommend this listing for people who want to disconnect from the electronic world and just enjoy the nature.

The location is great, located close to Farmington Maine. We were able to get live lobsters and clams at Moshers not to far away as well as a Walmart and grocery store near by. The home is camp like, comfortable & well equipped with what we needed. Mike the contact person was attentive and helpful with any needs. Mike even directed us to come watch his fire work display that he orchestrated & was great. We were able to bring our dogs here which was a nice addition. The lake was warm and we loved watching the loons & baby. One couple walking one day offered us a lot of education on the loons. We had access to 2 kayaks, 1 canoe, and a peddle boat which was a nice addition. Carolyn Anderson the host was good at communicating with us and made an extended effort to get us directions to the camp because 48 hours before our stay a storm washed out a few roads that we needed to avoid. The only word of advice and this was no reflection on the home or owner is don’t count on cell or internet being reliable. Due to recent storms internet was unavailable. Carolyn made an effort to resolve this for us but due to a holiday week was not successful. We had 2 people that were intending on working remotely. 1 person was able to adjust but a 2nd guest had to come late and leave early due to this unfortunate circumstance. Carolyn did offer us a hot spot which was appreciated. I would 100 % recommend this location for a relaxing step away from hustle and bustle of life. Perfect family trip!

We had such a relaxing, wonderful stay at Pinehurst Too with our pups! Carol couldn't have made the check in process and information an easier! Right down to sending detailed directions on how to get there... especially on Maine camp roads when the gps isn't always spot on;) My husband was beyond ecstatic about those! We arrived with no issues and we're excited right away when we saw the larger than expected, screened-in porch with an amazing view of the pond. We loved that the porch included both rocking chairs & table & chairs where we ate breakfast, lunch & dinner watchimg the loons & ducks pass by. Our dogs really loved the freedom of walking in and out of the cabin out to the airy porch & they could see the pond.
The cabin had everything you could possibly need while on vacation! Well stocked kitchen, dishwasher, toaster oven, you name it, it's there! Even kitchen staples, if you forgot it, most likely, Carol thought of it! Rooms were nicely decorated and had ceiling fans to keep the cabin nice & cool.
The dock and waterfront were perfect for fishing for bass and taking the dogs for a swim! The paddle boat, kayaks and canoe were easily accessible and right there on the water. I was looking so forward to the paddle boat and it didn't disappoint;) We ended up bringing our own kayaks for fishing but forgot our paddles, thankfully those were included right at Pinehurst Too...
The bass fishing was great, my husband is a much early riser than me and enjoyed fishing off the dock every morning with pretty good luck lots of good size fish, all catch & release. We also had a family of ducks in the cove every morning & evening as well as a few loons.
At night you can see the stars so vividly from the dock and the fireplace is perfectly located on the hill just overlooking the pond. Many nights we heard the loons sereneding from Sand Pond & neighboring Locke Pond.
We couldn't have hoped for a better vacation, the cottage was perfect, lots of privacy, quiet pond that isn't busy and camps are spread out. Great place to spend time with family and pups, would highly recommend Carol's place for a great get away!! Thanks again for everything Carol, we had a fabulous time and really enjoyed our time at Pinehurst Too!!!

What a great location and view. Very relaxing and quiet. Spent alot of time fishing and out on the lake. Carol is super nice and has thought of everything you will need for your stay. (wish knew that ahead of time, LOL, could have packed less)
Very informative on local areas and shops to pick up lobster and great farm down the road for fresh meat.
Thanks for sharing your lovely place with us.

Owner very friendly, stayed in communication with me right up until arrival. Check in went smoothly. Beautiful view of pond at dock. Kayaks, Canoe, and pedal boat added to the kids great time at the cabin. Fished for 4 days. Mouse droppings on kitchen counter every morning. Lost a loaf of bread on Day 1. Bought new loaf and just stored it in microwave. Didn't notice them anywhere else. Washer and dryer made it very convenient with being on the water every day. Thank you Carol for sharing your cabin with us.

Pinehurst Too is everything I was hoping. It brought back wonderful memories of a camp my family stayed at few summers growing. The location is perfect! Other cottages near by but I felt secluded. Walk in and felt right at home. Cottage is clean and had more amenities than I had expected (pots, pans, bowls misc spices, etc. The view of the pond is spectacular. Spent a good deal of the time on the screened in porch. (Favorite spot in the cottage.) one early morning I had the opportunity to use one of the kayaks and had the whole pond to myself. I am grateful for this wonderful experience, it was just what I needed and wished I could have stayed longer. I would go back in a heart beat. Carol was great to communicate with. She answer all my questions and concerns in a very timely manner. Thank you,

Myself, 2 friends and my dog niece stayed for a long weekend in late October. It was just what we needed and the cabin was perfect. Definitely would love to go back when the loons are still in the area and the lake a little warmer but you have to live fall in New England!

Loved the location and serenity of the cottage. Although the weather was rainy most of the time, we enjoyed the screened in porch and watching the chipmunks dodging the raindrops! Saw an eagle, blue heron and a brown bat catching bugs! Overall, very relaxing.

We were looking for a relaxing place on a pond where we could stay with our dog. This place was very nice with a combination of rustic -classic Maine camp with many modern amenities. I had email correspondence with the owner Carol who was very pleasant and helpful. We were able to do some fishing and the clear water kept our dog entertained with the fish swimming by the dock. We used the canoe but came with our own kayaks, so we didn't use the two available kayaks or paddleboat. It was very quiet when we were there and it was a very nice stay and getaway. We were self-contained with our food so we didn't need to leave to go out to eat but maybe next time. I really enjoy this area and we hope to come back for another visit..maybe for a week next time. Love the screened-in porch during bug season. Great spot to chill near the water. I'd go back and it couldn't be too soon. Thanks, Carol. I appreciate you sharing your cottage with us. Nothing like time on and around water.

We had good time at the cottage. Carol and Mike (manager) are very nice people, answered our question quickly . The weather was not great, luckily the hitting unit helped us to stay warm at night.
Highly suggesting to visit Coos Canyon in Byron and Hight of Land on Rt.17

Overall the house was very cute and has everything you need during your stay. It is very much so in a rural place so if you are looking for a quiet private place this is it! There is a small downtown area about 20 minutes away in Farmington and it was fabulous! So many cute shops and amazing restaurants we made a whole day of it one day during the week. The owner was very responsive and made sure we were accommodated and clearly stated the policies and house rules so we never felt misguided. There were boats and a nice dock for us to use and we even saw loons! We went during a very hot week so there were quite a few bugs but that's what camping gets you. In all, if you are looking for a nice camping house with water activities and a cute small town atmosphere this is the place to go!

My two friends and myself stayed at Pinehurst Too in the middle of November of 2020. The property was clean and had a very cozy feel. Carol the owner was very responsive to any questions that I had. I'd recommend Pinehurst Too to my family and friends and would definitely consider staying here again sometime.

Overall we were happy with our stay. The few steps to the water and dock would have been easy and safer with a railing but doable with help. Beautiful location, very scenic.

What a beautiful spot on a very pretty pond! The cabin was exactly the perfect place for us, the weather was perfect, and we felt like we had our own little oasis! All of our guests brought their own cars and it turned into a bit of a parking debacle, but Carol was very helpful in solving the situation. Can’t wait to go back!
