This beach house was beautiful and very clean. The colors and decor were so serene and the furniture and beds were very comfortable. It was so relaxing and peaceful, everything we hoped for! We would love to go back again some day.

The house was exactly as advertised. The location was great and the view was amazing! Minor issues such as some lights not working. Had a large group so both pull out couches had to be used which were not very comfortable. Overall it was awesome and I highly recommended staying at this house!

The house and location was perfect for a girls trip. We ranged in age from 30’s to 70’s. Plenty of bathrooms and beds for 14 of us. The back deck was very nice with lots of places to sit but would have liked more lights on the deck in the evening time. I would definitely recommend this house.

Great rental with noncrowded beach. Close walk to Pier Park, which the children love. Plenty of room for a large group and a great kitchen. My only sugesstion would be to put bunk beds in place of the three single beds in the downstairs bedroom. When the trundle is pulled out, there isnt really room to navigate.

Very nice property and prefect location! Its walking distance to shopping and resturants. So if you fly in there is no reason to rent a car! Our only issue was with the TVs and they came and fixed right away!

My fiancé and I rented this beautiful place to get married on the beach! Our ceremony was to take place on the 13th, but my man got terribly ill and we had to cancel everything to go to the ER!! By Wednesday he was much better so we were able to marry on the 15th!! The house was a perfect place for us!! Everything was clean, the kitchen was well appointed and the bed we slept in was very comfy! This home is right on the beach, walking distance to the Pier Park, the fishing pier and restaurants! A perfect place that we hope to come back to!!

We were very pleased with the property. It was well equipped with lots of extras. We had great weather but thought we may have to evacuate because of the hurricane. Luckily it went a different way and we were able to stay. We all loved the Emerald Coast and will come back!

This was the perfect beach rental. We had 14 adults and this house accommodated us all. The beach area was not crowded at all, everything we needed was supplied, the bathrooms in each of the bedrooms was great, and it’s a short walk to Pier Park. The house was clean upon arrival and we had zero issues that needed attention. Would 100% recommend It’s a Shore Thing!

It was very clean and convenient to Pier Park. Everything was great. If I had to pick out something, it would be that there is nowhere close to the bed to plug your phone, computer etc. Having to get up out of bed and go check my phone was a constant bother. I didn't want to go buy extension cords for my wife and myself seeing we traveled by motorcycle. Beside that, we really enjoyed our stay

The house was exactly as described. Our group of 12 easily fit without feeling cramped. Plenty of space and beds. Waking up to the sound of the ocean is definitely a perk. The bigger kids were able to still enjoy the beach and ocean while the younger ones napped inside. A great place to spend the last few days of our vacation!

The property was more than spacious enough for our group. There were a total of 9 people in our party. The home was wonderful; kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed and most of all only a few steps away from the gorgeous white sandy beach. Location is everything.

The property was beautiful and everything we could have wanted. Perfect size for family vacation with 5 adults and 3 kids, with room to spare. Not having to deal with elevators, crowded beaches in front of a condo, and parking garages was wonderful. We are spoiled now and will look to rebook for future PCB stays!

We had a great stay at "It's a Shore Thing". The house is very nice, updated and clean. It is very spacious and it's in a great location. There's nothing like walking out of your bedroom onto the balcony to watch the sun rise over the gulf. We will definitely be staying here again.

We had a group of 9 ladies stay for a weekend and it could not have been better . The house was flawless! The location was amazing. The house was decorated perfectly , everything was so cute, and clean. Nothing was old or worn out looking . It was fresh, stylish and done in prefect taste. The pictures on the listing are good, but it is even better in person. We loved that there were plenty of beds and bathrooms, no one was forced to sleep on a pull out sofa and no one had to wait for a bathroom. There were plenty of towels to use and extra blankets. The booking process was very easy and hassle free and it was always easy to get in touch with someone. The only thing we hated was having to leave. We all said we would love to come back again , and would for sure stay in the same house.

Where do I begin! Twelve of us came here for a Labor Day girls weekend trip and had a blast! This house was AMAZING! The owners thought of literally everything. The pictures on the website do not do this house any justice at all! The owners were doing some renovations the week of our arrival, new fixtures, new carpet, etc. It was emaculately clean and spacious! We had everything and more that we needed in the kitchen. There were plenty of towels, washcloths, and handtowels. There were also fans in each closet of the bedrooms. The three decks were a nice touch.
This house sits right on the beach and has a gorgeous view of the beach. There was plenty of seating inside and outside for everyone to enjoy and be comfortable. I loved the fact that there is a private walkway down to the beach and it's not a very far walk at all. And I love the fact that the owners installed a shower and hose outside so people could rinse off before walking into the house.
This house is walking distance from Pier Park and there is a Dusty's right across the street. There is also a Winn-Dixie close by. The ONLY thing this house needed was a pool however, there is an Aquatic Center about 5 minutes away with a nice pool.
I would definitely recommend It's a Shore Thing to others and would definitely come back and rent again!

Where do I begin? I will start with the furniture. Most of the furniture needs to be replaced. The couch in the living room was dirty and the cushions were sinking into the frame. The ottoman in the space on the other side of the living room was also dirty. All of the area rugs need to be cleaned or replaced with new ones. The kitchen chairs were okay but also need to be cleaned. The master bedroom that my husband and I were in (the biggest one) had a very hard bed. Not enough pillows on the bed. I did find more in the closet but no pillow cases. The other beds were my in-laws slept gave them a comfortable sleep.
The kitchen layout was nice but when it came to the supplies the owner failed. The pots and pans are old and very worn and need to be replaced. They are HORRIBLE!!! There were three can openers and only one halfway worked. My sister in-law had to end up opening the cans by a knife. Garbage disposal ended up breaking down. We did report it
before our departure.
As far as toilet paper, paper towels and soap (hotel soap. Very little bars) the owner failed to provide enough for our stay. You will need to bring or buy your own. Wal mart is close
by.
The decks give a nice view and easy access to the beach but when it comes to the maintenance the owner failed. We found loose nails on the lower and upper deck ( I have pictures). There were screws sticking up on the upper deck. The deck needs some repairs and a fresh coat of paint.
I rented another property last year twice!! This place was so nice. The only reason I chose this place was based on the location which is very nice because it is in walking distance to Pier Park, it was larger to accamodate my whole family and the pictures. The other property had so much more to provide for a very comfortable stay. My sister in-law is a chef and was happy that the other property provided nice quality and very good condition cookware. She had everything and then some. She also provided enough toilet paper, dish soap and paper towels that we did not have to purchase any. The property also had beach chairs (very nice ones), beach towels, dvds and board games (which we played and had a blast). I love that place and will plan on going back.
As much as we paid for this place the owner should have done better. The other property was cheaper and blew It's a Shore Thing out the water. The owner needs to go in and make changes because it's a nice property but fails as a vacation spot for vacationers.

Everything it claims and more! Perfectly located within walking distance of Pier Park and situated far enough away from the crowded high rises. Dusty's Oyster Bar right across the street was very accommodating as well, walked over, gave our name and the hostess texted us when our table was ready. Very convenient when you have a group of small children and a lengthy wait time. The entire house was well appointed, beautifully furnished, lots of space and the view from the decks is amazing. Lauren was very easy to deal with and quick to respond. We'll definitely be back!
