The house is huge, every room has so much space, you can have 12 people sleeping in beds. The rest of the house is very spacious too, with very large spaces with an open kitchen with a double island. The hot tub was great post-skiing, and the regular maintenance provided by the property management always kept it clean. I can't speak highly enough of how much we enjoyed our stay, everything was perfect. Other things to mention: 3 car garage, pool table, snow removal, 3.5 bathrooms, responsible property managers, also did I mention it was huge?What an amazing winter it was too, a record snow year, and no issues whatsoever in the home. Looking forward to next year! Gracias totales!

We had such a wonderful month in this home. The location and the layout of the home is perfect. It accommodated our group of 8 easily, with room to spare. The house was clean, although many (40+) floor tiles were broken when we arrived and were a bit of a hazard for our kids. The grill had a tough time heating up and staying at a high temperature. Outside of that, we truly enjoyed the property.

Home was beautiful. Floors and carpet were dirty. Feet and socks were black our first day. We mopped several times and the tile was still dirty. Window cranks didn't work and only a few windows would open. It was very hot week and no air or ability to open the windows was not fun. Pillows were flat and uncomfortable so bring your own.Fridge wouldn't stay closed and the BBQ would not heat up past 250 degrees. But other than that the home was very nice and centrally located.

We rented this house for members of my daughter's wedding party, and it worked out beautifully. The house is spacious and has plenty to keep people busy with a pool table, DVD player and hot tub. The downstairs living area has an open living room/dining room and large adjacent kitchen, but it's very cozy. The master bedroom is huge and the other bedrooms provide plenty of space. All in all, it was a wonderful stay.

Our family stayed at the Heavenly Valley Estate for the 3rd consecutive year. We love the great room and kitchen set-up. The bedroom set-up is also nice and the kids love the upstairs area. The front deck is our favorite hangout in the morning and evening overlooking the forest across the street.

The Heavenly Valley Estate was a beautiful, large home that was perfect for our family. The features of the home; granite kitchen, knotty pine finishes and tile/carpet were very nice. The only negative I would say about the home is that the furnishings are not what I would expect from a lovely property like this. They beds were reasonably comfortable, but the dressers and cabinets are old, and the finish is coming off the tops of almost all of them. The living room couch was not comfortable, and needed a cleaning. The dining room chair covers were very dirty. (The rest of the home was very clean). The furniture was mismatched and appeared old and tired. Since the layout and features of the home met our needs (pool table, Jacuzzi, etc...) we overlooked the furniture. If the furniture gets updated, this would really be an elegant property. The location is very close to a grocery store and not far from Heavenly ski resort and the casinos. We had 8 people in the house, but had plenty of room to move around. We would stay here again.

We had a great time. Perfect location and the size was great. The only thing that I didn’t like was the fact that I felt like I had to watch everything we did to ensure no one broke the rules. I totally understand not wanting people to have major parties and destroy the property but for the amount I paid, it would have been nice to be able to have local family over for dinner. Everything was $1000 fine for this or that. Otherwise, it was beautiful and a very nice getaway.

The stay was fine but the owners said that we (a group of 8 early 30 year olds) were responsible for drawing all over a childrens play table. They also tried to charge us for multiple small damaages that we were clearly not responsible for. I could not help but feel a little like this was par for the course. Not to mention that, while appointed, the house felt a bit run down. If you stay, be sure to report every damage you see. We also found a used mask under a bed. A little gross but not a dealbreaker, I guess. I won't rent from this company again, unfortunately.

Invasion of privacy
This property was nice. Plenty of room for our group. On our first night at 9:22pm we are having a good time listening to music and hanging out. We received a text message stating we were too loud snd we needed to be quiet so we didn’t receive a “fine from the city” I was also informed that we had too many people in the home that 12 people were counted. At this point I’m extremely upset. Quiet time is after 10pm and it is 9:22 and are we being watched? Well of course we are considering someone was able to count the number of guests while inside the home. We felt extremely uncomfortable and could not wait to leave, having the feeling of being watched is a very uneasy feeling to have while your on vacation.
Also the house is not clean. Shoes are to be removed upon entry which I respect but I don’t expect my feet to be black from the floor that has obviously not been mopped. Under the couch cushions are disgusting and under the kitchen table was cereal which we did not have. The hot tub was murky and probably needs to be drained.
I would NOT recommend this property and I WILL NOT be back.

Great location, beautiful home, but allow windows to be opened!!!
The only thing that was disappointing is that my whole family was very uncomfortable at night. Alot of money not to be comfortable. The entire house was to hot at night. The weather was up into the 80s all week and when you cook inside the house in the evenings it heats the house up more! All the windows are labeled "intentionally disabled". No way to open. You can't air the house out or cool it off. It also states "Heat Only" There is no air conditioner. Cooling wouldn't come on. Great for winter, not so sure about the summer. The windows should be able to be opened.

Kitchen had everything you might need. My only suggestion would be some steak knives. I would definitely recommend this house for a large family or 2 families like we had.

Beautiful home
This was an amazing place to stay, plenty of open space. It's very close to heavenly and even has a dog park close by. The provided amenities were also a plus in case you forget anything. The kitchen had two islands which is perfect for cooking along with the outside grill.

Weekday getaway
We had a wonderful time staying at the Rancho Bijou. We were a group of 8 with plenty of space. Everything was super clean and the house had enough tableware for all. The only thing we found frustrating was that the house was listed with spices and specific cookware so we didn't bring. Little things like a cheese grater and salt and pepper. Safeway was just down the road, which is a bonus so luckily we were able to purchase anything we couldn't find within the cabinets. Other than that we have no complaints about this house and will likely rent again. Enjoy!

Great New Years getaway
We had a great time in this spacious cabin. Generous stock of kitchen gear, lots of towels and blankets, good central heating + additional space heaters in every room. Five minute drive to Safeway, Whole Foods, and Heavenly’s California lodge. Would definitely stay again!
