Staying here was a real treat. It’s close to everything but not too in the mix. All communication with the property manager was great.

5 night stay, perfect for our family of 4! Liked location! Description of house is very accurate! Pool in the summer a must! Overall a fabulous rental!

We stayed for 10 days in June with 2 teen kids. The listing and pics are very accurate. Everything is very clean and well maintained. Strong wifi. Housekeeping and gardeners come often. The kitchen had most of the things we needed. The bedrooms are very comfortable with plenty of storage, linen and towels. The outside area and pool are awesome. AC in the bedrooms is key and it works well. Outside there are fans which were great. This hacienda is a great escape. Some days we would not even leave, just relax outside in pool. The beach is a block down the street, which is way more chill than the main beach area. Many restaurants in the area. We went to Los Reyes and Tropical Cafe almost daily. Best beach area is Las Sirenas. For unreal fishing, contact William Frias, Sayulita fishing trips. We never found the need for a golf cart rental, walked everywhere. There is little market just next store which was very handy, but for our 10 day trip we ubered back to Bucerias area for larger grocery store run after we arrived. Rene is awesome. Always accessible. We did have to contact him regarding refilling the onsite water tank, but he had the issue resolved the next morning. There is construction in the area that you could hear, but we didnt find it a nuisance. We will be back to visit. 10 days did become a bit long for the kids. I would have stayed longer.

The property was exactly as described and pictured except that it was actually more charming and welcoming in person. We stayed for 6 nights at the end of May with our 2.5 year old and there was never a dull moment. The property itself was perfect for our family of 3. The two bedrooms are huge and spaced out enough to give plenty of privacy. The kitchen is large and well stocked. The front courtyard is GORGEOUS with a beautiful garden, small pool, fountain, bathroom with shower, and fully furnished lounge and dining area. Having the pool at the property was a huge plus for our small child because the beach is definitely more geared towards stronger swimmers. Speaking of the beach, it’s about 1.5 blocks away. The beach here in the North end is very peaceful and there’s a very nice guy who rents umbrellas and chairs out for the day and surfboards if you want. We did not feel like we needed a golf cart even though everyone seemed to drive them. It’s a very short walk to the center of town. We ate at a different restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day and could have kept that streak going for weeks it seemed like! If you love tacos like we do, Sayulita has you covered. The house manager Rene was responsive, helpful, and friendly for our entire stay. Next time we come to Sayulita, and we will be back, we are definitely going to book Casa Sorpresa.

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Sopresa for the most part, except there was very loud construction next door till about 10:30 pm. We informed the property manager Rene and he spoke to them and although they ended earlier, the construction continued daily throughout our stay. Wish we would have been informed about this prior to staying there. We spent most days away at the beach or exploring town. The home is otherwise beautiful, rustic and a very convenient location to the beach and town. We enjoyed having a private pool. The North side cafe next door served amazing breakfasts and we went there daily. Overall we had a great time in Sayulita.

This was such a wonder experience, we have never been to Sayulita before. This beautiful private home was amazing. We loved our private pool and the beautiful outdoor patio space. We loved our stay at Casa Sopresa for the week. After doing adventures every day, it was so nice to come back to our blissful oasis to swim and enjoy siesta time. Plus, it didn't hurt that the beach was only 1 block away and you could enjoy a delicious coffee and breakfast right next door. Muchas gracias!

First time to Sayulita and this house is in a perfect neighborhood. Lots of great eats and drinks literally out the door all great!! The quiet part of the beach 2 blocks away. House is perfect. Will be back.

We loved Casa Sorpresa! We were a family with two boys ages 10 and 8 and our small dog, Rocket who spent two weeks at Casa Sorpresa over Christmas. We have stayed in several homes in Sayulita over the past 10 or so years, and this was our favorite house. The house is in a fabulous location on the north side of town and only a block or so from the beach. You're just far away from the center of town that it's not too busy but you can still walk into town easily. And the beach is so close! The house feels hidden away. As soon as you open the doors you're in this tranquil oasis. The decor is traditional Mexican with an authentic arty feel to it. It's very colorful, from the outdoor walls to the sheets and towels. We loved sitting outside for dinners at home. The pool was chilly (most pools in Sayulita are not heated) but the boys loved it and on hotter days we all got in for a refreshing plunge. In summer when it's hot I bet it's just perfect. The manager Rene handled any issues promptly and with ease - he was wonderful. The driver he sent to pick us up at the airport, David, was excellent and we hired him to drive us home from Punta Mita at the end of our trip. There is a great pizza place around the corner from the house, Pizza Venezia, and we ordered from them several times and brought it home. Their salads are wonderful, too. You can easily rent golf carts at one of two spots across the street from the house. Highly recommend this house and we hope to come back! Thanks Rene and Elsbeth!

Great property where you can spend the entire day..the location close to the beach and shops makes it a great place to be. Lovely pool and garden..nicely decorated house and well-equipped kitchen along withthe outdoor showers make it an ideal place to vacation. Wifi worked well

This lovely Casa was perfect for 2 couples while staying in Sayulita. There was plenty of room and had the amenities we could want or need. The locations n was perfect, 1 block from the beach. The pool was very inviting and the waterfall was very relaxing while we sat out and had our morning coffee. There is a very good coffee shop right next door. We did rent a golf cart that was very convenient in exploring this wonderful town. Communication with owner and property manager was excellent. Very helpful in renting a golf cart and arranging transportation to the airport. Can’t wait to come back!

Very nice vacation rental. Property was great and a good value. Very good location to the beach and center of town. Quiet at night. Umbrella and chairs were provided to take to the beach. Neighborhood and some very good restaurants and small market. Great pastry shop up the street. Pool temperature was cool, but it was February. Property manager was very responsive to any concerns we had. This will be our rental in the future when we go back to Sayulita. For a great sailing experience try ADAsailing.

From the moment I submitted my reservation, I was super impressed with the prompt communication and assistance that I received. I worked with Rene to accommodate the shuttle to and from the airport. Rene was awesome! He greeted us when we arrived and made us aware of all we needed to know. The property was even bigger than the pictures let on. We had rain for a couple of days during the stay and it was made enjoyable by staying under the covered portion outside. There were ample bath and beach towels. The kitchen was also well stocked with items such as soap, paper towels, coffee filters and large jugs of drinking water. The house was clean and just beyond lovely! I would highly recommend this casa to all! Thank you so much for sharing your home and making our stay in Sayulita one to remember!

Everything about this property was incredible. It was clean, stocked of everything you could possibly use and in a great location. The place is even better than the photos.

I rented this place for a family trip with my daughter, Son-in-law and 3 year old granddaughter. It was perfect for us. The high wall and get made us feel secure. Great neighborhood with so many great places to eat everywhere. You can see the ocean just 2 blocks away from just outside the gate. The house is beautifully decorated, beds are very comfortable and the vibrant colors and architectural features of the house are wonderful. The neighborhood is very quiet at night. The weather was, hot, humid and rainy so we really took advantage of the pool. The outdoor area is a lovely extension of the house and we had great meals and lots of family time out there. We highly recommend Casa Sorpresa.

My wife and I have only ever stayed at All Inclusive Resorts, so this was a bit of a departure for us but let me say I am so glad we gave Sayulita and this property a chance. The pictures online do not do this place justice. Every corner of the house has its own flair from epic lamps to fun pictures, and is beautifully decorated! The private pool was such a wonderful way to spend the day, surrounded by a stunning lush garden - it was like having your own private resort! This house is in such a convenient location, close to the beach, jungle, shops, and restaurants. Elsbeth and Rene were incredible from beginning to end. They are both very responsive, pleasant and helpful. They bent over backwards making sure the whole trip was great. From arranging pick up and drop off to the airport, a quick stop at a Mega mart to stock our fridge, and giving us advice on where to eat and what to see. A major hiccup (not at all related to Rene or Elsbeth) threatened to ruin our trip on our second day, but again Rene and Elsbeth went above and beyond to make sure our vacation was not ruined. if you are deciding on this place or another you cannot go wrong picking this gem.

This was our second time in Sayulita ( do your research it is not for everyone) and we love it more now than the first time. We came for my hubby's 40th birthday with our BFF's. We knew we were coming the hot and wet time of year. The thunder, lightning and down pours were more amazing than we could imagine!! Casa Sopresa is just as described. Perfect for 2 couples with bedroom privacy. The outdoor living space is perfect for storm watching. The pool was a must (did not have one last trip) and was so refreshing. The cafe next door was sooooo good. Try the Pina colada chia pudding, breakfast sandwiches, and fresh French pastries. Oh and their fresh oj makes fabulous screwdrivers and mimosas! My hubby is chiming in next to me and said "I have nothing negative to say"!. We (and our BFF travel buddies) had made a pact to start traveling the USA, but it looks as though that may not last lol...WHEN we return we will stay at Casa Sopresa with no hesitations. It is the perfect location. Bonus they were adding security cameras as we were leaving (though we never felt the need to have them, just be smart as you would any where else) Musts: Take in the culture, it is what Sayulita is all about. Eat next door, eat at the pastor taco carts, do hike to Playa de Muertos and go a little farther to the Playa Cerritos. Do NOT rent a golf cart you will miss so much. Take in the night life ( not the partying ...although that to is fun but doesn't kick of till about 11 in the evening ) the streets fill with families for meals and music and culture. It is so laid back and relaxing. P.S. However you choose to get the Sayulita have them pick you up over the footbridge that crosses the highway and eat at Marlins where the have the best shrimp burritos and cold beer. Go....and have fun!!

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Sorpresa. It’s a beautiful property with all the amenities. Was exactly as described and shown in the pictures. Very good communication with the owners/property management. Transportation was arranged for us and the driver was very friendly, helpful, and courteous. You will not regret your stay at this property.

This house and property far exceeded my expectations. It was such a wonderful place for my family to stay. The pool and fountains are an amazing place to spend time if you want a break from town and the beach. Everywhere in town seemed like a short walk. The house was well stocked with water and other supplies and it was cleaned regularly. My family is already talking about when we can visit again. Thank you for such a wonderful place to get away and enjoy life in Sayulita!

Casa Sopresa is a special, unique hideaway. It is perfectly located and well appointed. The details of the home are exquisite- from the colours used on the walls, to the lanterns hanging in the covered outdoor living space. My sister has a mobility issue, and the property worked very well for her. Honestly, I can’t say enough. We are already planning our return visit! Elsbeth was lovely to deal with, as was her property manager Rene. Thank you, Elsbeth for allowing us to vacation at your home away from home.

This property is so beautiful, so relaxing, felt like royalty! The perfectly decorated home is situated just a block from the beach with restaurants within a stone’s throw. Walk into town (3 blocks) if you want more action. Loved avoiding the central beach and visiting the one down the block. Having a washer/dryer and full kitchen was great. The rooms are nice and cold for sleeping. My 2 kids split the queen bed and twin day bed in one room, giving the grown-ups privacy and cable tv in the other. The WiFi signal is great. The pool is fantastic - can do small laps and it is about 5 ft deep on one side, about 3.5 on the shallow end, with towels provided. Bring a hair dryer - that was the only thing lacking...but I adapted to Sayulita style and went air dry all week! If you plan to cook much at the casa, stop before town otherwise you have to piece together odds and ends at the tiny markets. Get tons of pesos as no one accepts credit cards! The pictures are truly accurate! This place was heaven. 2 large inside bedrooms, one large kitchen, a gorgeous pool and great outside seating areas. We stayed here with our 4 kids and never felt crowded. The location is great too bc it really is a 5 minute walk to the beach, and a 5 minute walk to the shops and bars. I would HIGHLY recommend this house!!! One request....maybe a larger coffee maker? And some more forks in the kitchen. ;) Other than that, the house had everything we needed.

This is a beautiful property a short walk to the beach and to the main plaza of Suyalita. Communications with the property owner and manager Rene was seamless. The town has a number of good. Restaurants. Mary’s and Itataca were two of our favorites. We did zip lining with Mi Rancho Chapparita and a fun boat tour with Chicca Loca tours to Yalapa. Highly recommend both.

We loved our stay at Casa Sopressa. It was near the beach and a short walk into the main restaurant area. It is a relaxing oasis to chill out for a family or two couples. Rene the manager was helpful and punctual. I would definitely stay there again if coming to Sayulita.

Absolutely fantastic home. Very clean and well maintained landscape, pool and home. Property Manager, Rene was super nice and only a text away. If you stay here this house will not disappoint. The walk to city and beach is close and easy.
