I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival, the front door was marred and needing a paint job, the lock had to be "giggled" to open the door, toilet seat in the master bath was broken, toilet bowls in both bathrooms had mold, the bathroom storage was taken up with various items which I assume belonged to the owners leaving minimal room for our items. The bathrooms and kitchen needed a deep cleaning - scuz on the bathroom sinks, shower door area and shower curtian. Kitchen had food on the backsplash and windowcovering. window above the kitchen sink needed to be trimmed out - you could see the shims used to keep the window in place. The floors in bathroom and kitchen had crud in the corners. Furniture and carpeting was new. Furniture in the bedrooms was too large/hunky for the rooms, making it vey difficult for us to walk between the end of the bed and dresser - could barely pull the dresser drawers out to get our clothes into the drawers. Hurricane shutter in the master bedroom was closed when we arrived. The closets were full of storage containers for the owners items - they could have used under bed storge containers to give guests a little more room the closets. The owner forgot to inform the rental company that major renovations to the complex would be going on all month every day starting at 8 am. I feel TriPower didn't inspect the place before we arrived, and the owners weren't thiking of how guests would be acomdated in their unit. TriPower did give us a $499.95 refund due to lock, broken toilet and lack of informing us about the daily noise due to renovation work. Carlos of TriPower was pleasant, polite and professional to work with. The location was great, overall complex was well kept, pool was very nice, other guests/owners very pleasant.

permanent residents, owners , of which there are many in the Cove , appear to have some animosity towards renters. Not a welcoming community.
