The sea views

Don’t be fooled by the pretty interior. The owner has made absolutely zero attempt to sound proof the sash windows, meaning I was wide awake whilst drunks were screaming at the top of their lungs leaving the nightclub next door which closes at 4am. Honestly, if you have ears that work, don’t stay here on a Friday or Saturday night. I’m a deep sleeper, but it was that bad I had to check-in to another hotel. Sykes Holidays were very rude, unsympathetic and said they wouldn’t refund me a penny, as I “should have known to expect that”. I am sorry, how should I have known you’d have NO soundproofing? It was like sleeping on the pavement with the drunks. It’s easy and cheap to install secondary glazing, but the owner cannot be bothered, just wants your money. Booking.com also won’t help you if you have a bad experience.

it was way to noisy, Because the windows are not double glazed, I now the building is listed,But it should have glazing in side the windows, This is a big problem, But I must say the flat was beautiful

Inconsiderate youths who were hanging about all night causing anti social behaviour with their noise.

Everything was great from flat being extremely comfortable, amenities, location, walks , views.

It was rather noisy at night. Fri-Mon. Not the rest of week. However it was probably because we are OAPs!and retired slightly earlier than some!!

The spectacular sea view! Fantastic location! Contemporary design with all mod-cons and necessary facilities. Could easily stay for a week :)

Restrictive parking means it’s awkward to load/unload and sort parking permit etc. But once parked you don’t really need to move as everything is on the doorstep! Lightbulb out over shower (kind of need light in there!). When we moved the sofa it wasn’t hoovered underneath. Tea stained mugs. Windows need cleaning to enjoy the view more. DVD missing from case. No spare kitchen/toilet roll - glad we brought our own! No condiments at all or tea/coffee etc. Very prompt cleaner at 10am check out!

Nicely appointed apartment in a great location.

On arrival, had to vac all the dirty floors. Had to empty full vac before using. Even the dustpan needed emptying! All sills and ledges dirty and headboard thick with dust. Dirt in bath. Toilet brush filthy. Very disappointed with the standard of cleanliness for the price charged. First night we were kept awake until 2.30am with noise from the nightclub and the second night it was 3.20am. Couldn't risk another noisy night and checked out a day early.

The apartment was very clean and welcoming. Perfect for a single person or a couple.

There is a night club next door which is open until 5am both Friday and Saturday night.
