This property was perfect. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment. The beds are so comfortable. Everything was great. We would love to go back.

Pre trip communication with owner was good. The instructions for staying in the house were very informative with directions, code, eating recommendations, etc. Nice trail around the lake for morning walks. Very peaceful and the beds were very comfy. Weather was not good for using the deck, but did get to sit out on one evening. Great place!

We mostly hung out to visit with friends from out of town and were looking for a great view while we did it. The property was lovely and the view exceeded expectations. It's quite conveniently located, with a gym and the grocery store about 5-7 minutes away and other amenities even closer. The host was responsive and awesome. Kitchen worked well for cooking all meals needed.

When I read the story of how the Boat House was found on a walk through the neighborhood, basically abandoned and "dysfunctional," it was hard to believe. I looked up and saw a spacious living room decked out in beach-themed gear, a hallway leading to several rooms in one direction and a beautiful view onto Lake Sammamish in the other. How could this place ever be anything less than lovely?
My wife and I stayed here for three days while I was at work in Issaquah - a sort of working vacation. It felt fantastic to come "home" to such a welcoming, relaxing place. The beds are comfortable and the living room is a great space to just relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Did the TV work? I'm not sure - we never felt the need to turn it on. Though we did use the electric fireplace every night we stayed and that worked just fine.
I'm familiar with the Issaquah area so it was also nice to be able to enjoy my many favorite restaurants while we were staying there - Tiger Mountain Coffee and the Well and Table come highly recommended.
Our host, Lisa, was responsive and very accommodating. When I asked if my daughter, who lives nearby, could join us for a night her response was quick and simple: "Absolutely yes!" While we never saw her, I always felt like she was available if we needed anything.
The Boat House is a standout example of how a formerly "dysfunctional" house can turn into a lovely home away from home. I hope we get the opportunity to stay here again.

Easy access to Issaquah, Redmond, and Sammamish.
While not directly on the lake location was extremely close, the lake Sammamish trail was steps away.

Very clean property, with nice view of the lake. We were in area for a family reunion and was convenient to everything in the area, right next to walking path. Has a wonderful deck, but due to weather, we only gazed longingly at it! The windows from sitting area inside were a good backup! Will definitely stay there again if we go back to the area.

The boathouse is very spacious and has a great view of the lake. It’s also close to groceries, gas, and restaurants for a low key vacation. It can be a little hard to find at first if you arrive at night, but that’s due more to there being not much light in the town along the roads than the property itself.

Overall we had a very pleasant stay at the Boathouse. The space of the property is very well optimized. The appliances are all in good condition. Lisa was very responsive when supplies were missing or low (even over the holidays). The bedding in the rooms was very comfortable.
The description was slightly misleading (we thought the downstairs room had a King PLUS 2 twins but it actually was just 2 twins that could be moved together to make a King). Luckily my son was able to sleep on the sofa bed in the living room.
We would love to visit again in the spring or summer when we can enjoy the beautiful, spacious deck.

Everything that you would ever want in a vacation house - immaculate yet cozy interiors, spacious deck, and just about every convenience you can think of. We stayed for ten days in November and had everything that we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner. Lisa went out of her way to make our stay extra special including a Fall centerpiece for our table. Perfect place for families - lots of spaces for TV watching, board games, and conversation.

Well appointed home with comfortable beds, lovely kitchen, living room with fireplace. Host was most welcoming and had great recommendations. Our family enjoyed visiting together for the holiday and had some great walks and talks on the lake pathway. Thank you for your hospitiality!

Our stay at the Boathouse was wonderful! Our check in was simple and Lisa sends detailed info for that and directions. There were five adults and it was very comfortable and plenty of space. Very cozy, very clean and kitchen is well stocked. Loved the nautical decor. The view off the back porch is lovely. We all agreed the beds were quite comfy. Communication with Lisa was very good. She responded quickly to questions I had. The area was also very nice. We did not have time because of our only being there two nights and sightseeing, but would have loved to check out the trail right there to the water. Also Lisa’s welcome/directory book is very thorough and detailed and check out was very easy. Thank you Lisa for opening your wonderful space!!

It was great except one bathroom is upstairs and one is downstairs, so you have to share the bathroom if you both stay upstairs. The view of the lake and the walkways were fabulous. the owner was very nice.

We LOVED the Boathouse!! Lisa is a wonderful host and had this place so cozy and bright inside, it’s very welcoming. The kitchen and bathrooms are stocked with all the basics, the beds are comfy and the big windows and siding door lead you out to a large deck filled with gorgeous flowers, lake view and beautiful sunsets! Lots of dining options nearby and water access just down the street. 10/10

My family (two adults and three young boys) and I had a great stay at this property in Samammish. Very nice neighborhood and property as described. Beds very comfortable. Communication with the owner was excellent! They were very responsive and provided suggestions on things to do and places to eat in the area. Boys loved playing basketball in the front driveway.

Lovely spacious property, beautifully landscaped. Decor was fresh and inviting, with wonderful amenities. Large deck with plenty of seating to relax and enjoy the lake view (and to watch a pair of American Bald Eagles in the nearby tree!). Thank you to our host for such a lovely stay!

We had a wonderful weekend at the "boat house". Check in was super easy, the home was beautiful and exactly what we needed. Lisa was quick to respond to any questions we had. Before check in Lisa send a message giving suggestions of places to eat and what was around the area. We will definitely go back again!

Family of 5, two adults, teens, and a mini Aussie stayed at the boat house hosted by Lisa. The stay was great. The location was nice and the house was so spacious. The kitchen had basic essentials, it did rain quite a bit so we didn't get to enjoy the deck more than a day but the view of the water is beautiful. Our family had a good time. Location of the house is great with walking path through the community the extended the entire lake. Contact with Lisa was quick and wish we could have stayed the extra day.

Clean, comfortable setting for Thanksgiving Weekend. The stairs were difficult for our dog to navigate and may be challenging if you have a toddler or young child. Easy access to walking and biking trail.

My family and I were in town for a memorial and needed a quiet, peaceful place to stay. This was absolutely it!
The “Boathouse” was exactly as described and as a bonus; the beds and linen were dreamy (pun intended). The location was close to everything that we needed and that back porch overlooking the lake was really wonderful!
We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Very clean property. Very quiet and convenient to surrounding areas including downtown Seattle and local shopping. You should seriously consider this home for your stay. Property manager was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

This place is a must stay! The trail is just steps outside the front door. It is nestled between issaquah and Sammamish, where you have tons of shopping and conveniences. The boathouse is set up really well for small or large families, and the basketball hoop was perfect for the kids! The hosts are so accommodating and responsive! The best part was the beds, they were so comfortable, which is hard to find in a rental or hotel. We will absolutely stay here again, my kids didn’t want to leave!

This was a great spot for us. Near nice area for dining and a nice deck with a small view of the water. The nearby walking path was a plus and beach access is 3/4 a mile walk away.

We enjoyed our stay here very much! It was a beautiful and updated home in a great location. The layout was a good fit for our family and the location enabled us to explore and site see around Seattle, Bellevue and hike Snoqualmie Falls trails during the day.

The location was great and house was perfect for 5 adults. The outdoor space was nice for dining and relaxing. Kitchen made it easy to cook breakfast and have lunch at the home. The trails by the lake were great for nice afternoon walk.
