The family managing the place is amazing.
It is a small place and we felt like home.
The food is amazing there. We absolutely loved our stay. The location next to tegalalang rice terrasse is perfect.

The pool was stunning and very private. Walking distance to Tegalalang rice terrace. Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Staff were very happy to help.
If you want to be close to Ubud centre then this is a bit further out.

Viajamos mucho tanto por ocio como por trabajo. Este lugar es un remanso de paz increíble. Veníamos de un hotel con villa privada y piscina que nos había costado el doble en Ubud y nos gustó este muchísimo más. La vista al arrozal y la selva es especial. Las habitaciones son nuevas, muy bien cuidadas y súper súper limpias. La cama es increíblemente cómoda. Está muy cerca de muchas cosas que ver, metido en rice terrace, puedes ir andando a visitarla, a 10 minutos en moto de Pura Tirta empur y la fábrica del café y a 15 minutos del centro de Ubud en moto. Alrededor varios pueblitos locales que molan mucho.
Lo mejor sin duda de este establecimiento son los anfitriones. Son una familia que regenta el hotel y están siempre pendientes de ti, te ayudan en todo, la comida es casera, local y está todo buenísimo. Me invitaron a ver una ceremonia que celebración el domingo. Me hicieron sentir como en casa. Son encantadores!! De verdad, no dudéis en reservar en este alojamiento. Y está muy bien de precio. Es un 10

Absolument magique, le cadre idyllique et une vue imprenable sur les rizières de Tagallalang. Le calme absolu, l'endroit parfait où se reposer et se ressourcer.
La gentillesse du personnel familiale et des Propriétaires Michael et Misa adorable.
Des petits déjeuners gourmands et une cuisine délicieuse préparé avec amour.
C'est mon 2 ème séjour sur Bali et c'est réellement mon coup de coeur. Je reviendrai c'est certain.
Un immense merci à toute l'équipe vous êtes des personnes formidable.

No solo el lugar es precioso y tiene una preciosa vista, si no que los dueños son super amables. La comida del restaurante del alojamiento era deliciosa, cenamos varias noches allí. Los dueños siempre atentos a que estemos cómodos.
La comodidad de las camas era inmejorable.

Diese sehr private kleine Anlage besteht aus nur 2 Villen inmitten einem hübschen Garten und infinity Pool mit Blick auf Reisterrassen.
Die Besitzer kochen und umsorgen ihre Gäste rührend. Ein perfekter Ort um anzuschalten und zu entschleunigen. Die Bungalows waren sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Großes Badezimmer.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und sauber. Es gab immer frisches Trinkwasser. Der Ausblick auf den Dschungel und Reisfelder sind atemberaubend und die ruhige Atmosphäre lädt zum Schwimmen und Entspannen im Infinity pool ein. Die Mitarbeitenden sind extrem hilfsbereit und kümmern sich um jede Angelegenheit. Das Frühstück kann individuell ausgesucht werden und wird frisch zubereitet.

Fantastyczne miejsce! Na żywo obiekt wygląda jeszcze lepiej niż na zdjęciach. Obsluga jest przemiła i bardzo uczynna. Lokalizacja obok tarasów ryżowych genialna!
To nie uwaga do obiektu. Uważajcie tylko na jednego przewodnika, który wcinał mi najgorszą możliwą huśtawkę na tarasach ryżowych z widokiem na szpecące domki. Podziękujcie panu i idźcie naprzeciwko, tam jest mnóstwo pięknych huśtawek z widokami na piękne tarasy ryżowe.
Wszystko było perfekcyjne! Piękny basen z widokiem zapierającym dech, na pola ryżowe i jungle. Pokoje jak w resorcie, czułam się jak w domu, tylko lepiej 😉

Um paraíso a 10 kl de Ubud no meio de uma linda fazenda de arroz. Vista excepcional, ótima cama , ótimo chuveiro, café da manhã fantastico, piscina fantastica. Pretendemos voltar para passar 30 dias.

It's close to 2 different rice fields. The famous one and a local one. The first day, we did a 2 hour walk with the son in law, visiting the local rice field. Amazing and authentic. The next day, we visit the famous one by ourselves. Also very nice, as it's walking distance from the hotel.
The owner cooks simple but very nice food.
The view from the terrace is very nice
If you don't have your own transportation, it's impossible to go somewhere after dark.

It’s like a luxury homestay. The service is so personal and attentive.
The breakfast was the freshest and healthiest and tastiest I’ve had in decades.
There is nothing not to like. One must remember we are in UBuD surrounded by loads of rice paddy fields and greenery so you will have a few crawlies here and there and things may be humid and moist. But then if you did not know that you would not have come to Ubud and just stayed in come sterile city

Wayan! We are sure you are the most amazing person in Bali :) Everything was perfect. Our room, pool, and view were more beautiful than we expected. Our room was very clean and very comfortable. We didn't see any flies. Breakfast was very delicious. Whenever we wanted to go to the center of ubud, he arranged a taxi. He prepared us a very delicious welcome drink, even though we checked in at night! Since our return flight was very early, he prepared a breakfast package for us. Wayan and his team were very helpful and friendly in every way! They made us feel like we were one of their family. We will always remember them as our lovely friends and if we come again we will definitely stay here again. Hope to see you soon! - Irem&Batuhan

We were amazed at the beautiful location and room at the papas villa. Walking distance with tegalalang rice terraces. The view very peaceful and relaxing. Thanks to Wayan and Ketut and others they were amazing, so helpful and friendly and even organized a birthday cake and floating breakfast for my wife which was very special! They arranged Balinese massage for us (highly recommend). If you want to dive deep into the beauty and culture of Bali, this is the place.

We stayed in the Deluxe villa which is a beautiful home away from home. The villa has everything you need plus more (we know as we didn't leave it during heavy rain!). We loved our stay and the hospitality of the staff and owners. A magical place we hope to return to one day!

You cannot ask for a more serene setting. After the hustle and bustle of Ubud arriving at Papas Villas was truly paradise. Wayan and his family could not have been more friendly or helpful. From great meals to driving us wherever we wanted to go. The villa was very nice and extremely clean. And the view cannot be beat. We were extremely happy with our stay.

We loved everything there.
To start with, the place is away from the city between the rice terraces so it was like a heaven where we enjoyed the view of the green coconut trees. We had a private pool within the villa where we were swimming in the middle of the nature and in the morning having a floating breakfast.
The villa we rent was spacious and very clean with comfortable bed and cosy, fully equipped kitchen.
The towels smell fresh.
The door was in glass so if you leave the curtains open you can see the sunrise from your bed.
Michael and Misa, the owners,are very kind and welcoming. They are helpful, giving us some advice about where to go and to eat.
The staff is taking a good care of everything
Unfortunately we couldn't stay longer but definitely we will be back once we travel again to Bali.
The unwanted guests: the geckos! My wife is afraid of them but they are harmless.

We booked this place during our last two days in Bali and realized that this should have been the only place we should have stayed at. Despite being a homestay of a lovely Brit-Indo couple, it gives you a 5-star feeling. The decor is aesthetically pleasing, the architecture is lovely, the pool is long and deep enough for a relaxing swim. This is a place to stay in for a month and a perfect inspiration for a place I'd like to build someday for myself.

I had the most incredible stay! The staff were so genuinely kind and helpful which for me was the most memorable part! I have never stayed in such a beautiful place before, the views were heavenly - everywhere I looked was picturesque. This place is the perfect spot for exploring the rice fields, just across from it is direct access. The room was so cosy and clean. I loved having a dip in the pool after being out and about all day. Thank you so much to the owners, they were so friendly and even helped me celebrate my birthday with a cake! Also I really appreciated Wayan's help getting me around (especially as a solo traveller)- he even organised for a restaurant to drive me back after my dinner once which was above and beyond. Thank you for opening up your beautiful space for travellers to enjoy!!

Outstanding villa, location and staff! Very private, clean and cosy. Amazing view of local rice terraces.,especially from the pool. We got a floating breakfast which I highly recommend. We also got a local tour around the nearby rice terraces from our friendly neighbours! Awesome place to stay in Ubud.
