View is amazing! Enjoyed Red Hook area and being close to variety of dining options, grocery stores, and ferry to St. John's. Great villa, location, and host. One negative is having to take your garbage at end of stay to an off-site garbage dumpster.

We could not be more pleased with our stay at Brigadoon which is why we return here and will continue to return here in the future. The view of American Yacht Harbor, St John and BVI is just beautiful all times of the day and night. We love the proximity to Red Hook and nearby beaches such as Sapphire and Lindquist. Pat is a wonderful host and can’t wait for our next visit!

We had an amazing stay at the Brigadoon. Host Pat was extremely helpful with any questions. Provided beach towels and beach chairs, which was bonus. The Redhook area was close to all the booked activities and super fun in the evenings. Will definitely be coming back and would love to book the Brigadoon again! The view is absolutely amazing!

We picked this property for the view. In the mornings we would eat breakfast and enjoy our view of St Johns. The easy access to Red Hook, the ferry to St Johns and the closeness to Sapphire Bay made this an ideal spot for us. We would absolutely return. Highly recommend.

The property is fantastic! Everything you need and more. Breathtaking views. Every detail was considered. Captain Pat is a fascinating woman. Sailing with her and her first mate was a beautiful experience. If you have the opportunity I definitely recommend a day at sea on the Independence! Thank you for everything. We feel so blessed and thankful for Pat’s hospitality, kindness and thoughtfulnesses. She truly made our trip a beautiful and memorable experience.

Lovely property with amazing views!
We really enjoyed this property. It's in a fantastic location, very close to shops and restaurants. The view is absolutely amazing. We really enjoyed sitting out on the patio after a long day at the beach.
The house was very clean. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms which makes sleeping very comfortable even when it's hot outside.
We definitely took advantage of all the beach supplies provided and never had to rent chairs or umbrellas when we went to the beach.
As others have stated, the road that leads up to the house is incredibly steep but not too hard to manage.
We had a wonderful time in St Thomas and would definitely return to this property in the future.

Beautiful view with accessible location. Enjoyed meeting the locals who were very nice.
This property was in a great location making it easy to get to Magens Beach, Trunks Bay ( St. Johns) and Liquist Beach. We also snorkeled and zip lined which was amazing. The hill is steep but did offer a great work out even for the 2 17 year old boys. They loved shopping at the stores near by and playing football in the water. The beaches are incredible. This was our first time on the island, and we really enjoyed it.

Wonderful Property - AMAZING Views
This is a fantastic rental which is well appointed, easy to access and has lots of smart extras available. The full kitchen has all of the expected stuff plus many nice to haves. The patio offers plenty of seating to enjoy the views and plenty of comfortable indoor seating as well. Bedrooms and bathrooms are equally comfortable and well appointed.
The only downside is the steep road and driveway up but how else can you get the views? We found it very manageable to walk up from a night of food and fun in Red Hook (average age around 50). This is top of my list for future bookings!

Everything we wanted in a vacation stay
What a gorgeous home and view! Waking up every morning to watch the sunrise was the perfect start to every day. The home was clean and the beds comfortable. The location was near my favorite beaches and it was an easy walk down to Red Hook and a good workout back up from Red Hook haha. Thank you for making our week everything we needed to relax!

Girls trip in paradise
My girlfriends and I had such an amazing time visiting Brigardoon and the US Virgin Islands. The views from this place cannot be beat and was such a treat every morning and every night of our trip. The road/incline to get to this place is no joke but once you do it a couple times you get used to it. (We rented a Jeep which I highly recommended). We love the location because we were so close to Moe’s fresh market, a couple great restaurants and bars at the fairy/marina that we used frequently

The view was amazing. Exactly what we came for. Pat was very sweet and helpful throughout our stay. The location is great and just a short walk down a steep hill to great dining and shopping. Very close drive to beaches. Amazing stay. Thanks so much!!

Real good, would recommend to friends
Loved staying here, exactly as described. The view honestly might even be better than the photos portray. Perfect for two couples, both bedrooms were large and comfortable. The balcony’s incredible. Clean. Conveniently located near some great bars and restaurants (definitely check out “Duffy’s Loveshack”), as well as the ferry to St John. Only downside was the long driveway up to the property, which made walking down and back to the Brigadoon a bit of a workout, but again, the view was well worth the hike!

Perfect Villa in Red Hook!
Awesome villa overlooking Red Hook with an unforgettable view. I could sit out on that balcony every day all day! My fiancé and I, along with both of our parents, stayed in Pat’s villa for 5 days…my parents rented out the studio below which was also so cute and perfect!! I do recommend renting a car, as the hill to the villa is VERY steep. This location is perfect if you want to be close to the ferry to take you to St. John (you can see the ferries coming in from the balcony) and also close proximity to many restaurants, bars, and grocery store! My fav coffee shop is Lattes in Paradise. The AC in the bedrooms helped a ton since the living room/kitchen did not have AC. You won’t regret staying at the Brigadoon! We will definitely be back for another visit.

Just as the pictures
We picked this place for the view and it did not disappoint. Great patio, view and breeze. The kitchen is well stocked and there is a new gas grill. A couple grocery options are near by so easy to pick up something on the way home from adventures. Definitely recommend.

Great Stay in St Thomas
This a great property for family and friends to get together and visit St. Thomas. You can easily walk down the hill to Red Hook and to the ferry to go to St John, the walk back up is steep but very doable and if it is too much you easily can get a cab ride up to the house. The washer and dryer on site is a huge plus and all the little details like towels, soap, and shampoos on-site make travel and vacation that much better. Definitely a place we will return to and recommended to others.

Perfect location
Excellent location with excellent amenities. The property owners are very attentive and have covered all the little details that are needed but often overlooked. You can easily walk down the hill to red hook and the St. John ferry, walking back up hill Depends on your fitness and health level. It is steep but very do able. You can not go wrong staying here.

Amazing stay
The Brigadoon was an amazing place to stay! Absolutely perfect location with amazing views. You could definitely walk to Red Hook, however these hills are very steep and will definitely test your endurance. We had a SUV rental which was perfect for the roads on both St. Thomas and St. John. One huge benefit to the Brigadoon was being able to see the status of the ferry from the house/deck. It took probably 2 minutes to get from the house the the ferry. The owners had the house stocked with all of the small things that you most likely didn’t pack, but don’t really want to buy either. This was very nice and greatly appreciated! It would be hard to find a better deal and/or location than the Brigadoon!

Best location!!
We stayed at the brigadoon for a week with intentions of going to St. John and the BVI almost every day. This house was in the most perfect location with its proximity to the ferry. The house had amazing views, was super clean, and had everything we needed including beach chairs and coolers. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back!

Perfect!
Pat and Pieter are the most gracious hosts. This is our second trip to Brigadoon and we brought more family with us and also rented the brig below. The location is perfect, the villa clean well stocked and comfortable. Pat has thought of everything to make your trip more enjoyable from beach chairs to shampoo and sunscreen! The views can not be beat and we were just moments from red hook. We were able to sail with Pat this time and it was amazing. We had the boat to ourselves and Pat and Travis were wonderful and accommodating! Travis showed us some amazing sea life and my daughter was thrilled to see turtles for the first time! I highly recommend Brigadoon and will be back soon!

Great place with incredible views!
Great vacation and condo! Had everything we needed. I would suggest upgrading the pillows and adding a comforter to the beds. Mattresses were very hard and not that comfortable. View was incredible. A car is definitely needed. Great location!

Breezy tranquility
Pat and Pieter have a gem with their Brigadoon vacation rental!! Unlike the old movie, however, you don’t have to wait once in a hundred years to experience it! The steady breeze throughout the day was cool and refreshing. The property wraps around an east-facing hill, with a perfect view of nearby St. John, Jost van Dyke, and several other islands and cays. On a clear day, you can even see St. Croix!
The screened windows in the bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas, along with the multiple ceiling fans, really help to get the air circulating. The comfortable bedrooms with King-sized beds have AC units for when you sleep. The two bathrooms and showers make the stay comfortable.
The patio is nice, with outdoor seating and chairs. The kitchen is nice, with a gas range and oven, coffee maker, dishwasher, and refrigerator. A gas grill is on the side patio.
The location is within walking distance of the Red Hook harbor, yachts, ferries, great restaurants and grocery shopping.
The hill up to the property is paved, but steep and somewhat narrow. The recommendation to have a vehicle is spot-on. Taxis service the area, if you don’t plan to leave much. Plenty of beaches nearby, too! You’ll be glad you came!

Wow! Wow! Wow!
We have stayed at many places throughout the Keys and Caribbean, and Brigadoon was the best! Location in Red Hook was close to shopping, groceries and some of the finest food we have had. Unlike other places we stayed, all of the small amenities were right there -- dryer of course, but also curling iron. Paper products, beach towels & chairs (there are several beaches quite close). The place was spacious with a very large porch overlooking the harbor. Beautiful aquamarine water, sail boats galore. Plenty of room with 2 king size suites. Large well stocked kitchen, outdoor grill, 2 huge sofas in the living room perfect for stretching out. And a constant light breeze. You can see St John and St Croix from the balcony. This place does not disappoint! Highly recommend. (Driveway is very steep, but manageable - drive on the left took some getting used to!) Pat and Pieter were great, knowledgeable hosts!

Great view
Very nice place with very accommodating hosts. We were unable to get a car rental upon our arrival but Peter went above and beyond to pick us up and let us check in early.
The house itself is very nice and comfortable and has everything you’ll need. I would get a car as you’ll need to drive a very short distance to beaches. The hill up to the house is quite steep if you’re in good shape you can do it but you’ll probably want to car to get to the house

The property was clean and spacious. Pat was very accommodating. Outstanding abundance of supplies such as soap, paper towels, shampoo etc.
We were getting insect bites overnight until realizing that there were no mosquito nets on bedroom windows which we kept open.

Beautiful View!
Beautiful View, very convenient to a wonderful coffee shop on the water, Moe’s Grocery with every you could need to cook a fabulous meal in the terrific kitchen with gas stove, big refrigerator and dishwasher. Very spacious and homey with comfortable beds and nicely furnished. Internet connection is very fast. We streamed movies easily on our devices. You’ll have everything your family needs to make a wonderful vacation memory. As well as laundry on site. Thanks so much for a great vacation stay, Pieter and Pat!!!!

Love that view!
I chose this place because of the view, it did not disappoint! The drive is curvy and steep but we’re used to it from the Smoky Mountains, so it didn't bother us. Fridge had lots of stuff like condiments, some bottled water and whatever the other renters had left, which we really appreciated. There was even some booze, which was great. Loved the separate bedrooms and baths, made it convenient for two couples. I didn’t realize there was a washer and dryer which was an added bonus. Lots of beach chairs, toys etc. which made it cheaper and nice as we were beach hopping a couple of our days. I did love the kings size bed, a bit hard for me, but others may like that. Overall I loved the home and definitely would stay again if and when we’re back in red hook. We loved Duffy’s(happy hour), sunset grille (happy hour)and tap room for burgers.

We stayed for a week at Brigadoon. The owners Pat and Peter were so welcoming and accommodating! The view is breathtaking which made it hard to leave the balcony everyday. The house itself is clean and comfortable. Kitchen is stocked with the essentials. Don't think twice about renting this prooerty... this is where you want to be!

Amazing condo with fabulous owners!
We were in town for my wedding and we booked Brigadoon and the studio. The views are nothing short of amazing. The condo was fully equipped, even had decks of cards! Pat and Pieter were so helpful, someone from our group went back early and we forgot to give him a key...Pieter met him there and let him in! The beds were very comfortable, the bedrooms have a/c, were dark and quiet...never even heard a rooster crow! The bathrooms were very nice....spacious shower and had shampoo/conditioner/bodywash. Full size refrigerator WITH filtered water and ice maker. Cannot say enough things great about Brigadoon. You will not be disappointed if you stay here!
