The Finch is fun, friendly, so much better than the large chains. I loved the tea selection in the lobby. We only stayed one night to visit Whitman which is so close to the Finch. We will stay there many more times if my granddaughter selects Whitman and they select her.

Would have liked an hour later checkout but understand that there is time needed for refreshing each room. Also, the staff was very kind to help my sister when she bonked her head on my car (car is ok - her head is a bit dented). I would have liked some light pastries to eat with the wonderful tea - maybe sell a croissant 🥐 or donut 🍩.

The location, uniqueness, comfort and service with very very good. The coffee was great in the morning.

Parking can be a bit challenging.

Room was clean and spacious. Hotel is in a great location just a block from Walla Walla's main street and its tasting rooms and restaurants. Front desk staff pleasant and efficient.

Despite paying extra for a superior room, the room was dark and unattractive. Aside from a small opaque bath window, the sole window fronted on the ground floor sidewalk so no privacy at all if drapes open, and limited light due to walkway above if open. Superior room had some extra square footage but was less desirable than the standard room on the second floor of a prior visit. Coffee and tea are available in the lobby, but not in the room. A negative to those that prefer their cup of Joe without dressing for a rainy trek to the lobby.

Lots of communication with the Finch before, during, and after our stay. Staff was welcoming and pleasant. Room was clean and very comfortable. It was perfect for an overnight stay. Our group loved sitting by the fireplace later in the evening. It was a beautiful night for it! It was pretty quiet there and checkout was a breeze. Great location within walking distance of restaurants and shops.

It is right in town and you can walk everywhere.

It was perfect.

Great location, modern, clean. We traveled with our dog and they welcomed us with a blanket, toys and a bowl! Great service!

The sheets on the beds were not very comfortable, nonetheless our stay was great either way!

There was no coffee machine in the rooms and extremely limited access to amenities. We had to have housekeeping warm up our daughters food as there was no microwave. It felt very much like a motel 6 with Pendleton blankets.

The staff was not welcoming, and not helpful when we asked about accessing coffee after 12. Since we didn’t have a coffee machine in our room. The staff seemed annoyed if you asked questions.
