Private Rustic Mountain Cabin with Million-dollar views of the Mountains!!!

Nueva cocina / limpia, gama, nevera / congelador, lavavajillas, microondas, cocina totalmente equipada (ollas, cuencos, platos / vasos, utensilios, especias), cafetera, tostadora, licuadora, etc. Abrigo enorme alrededor de la cubierta con vistas a la montaña incluye sillas de mesa / para 4 más 2 sillones, y una parrilla de gas. Paseo en el nivel de las veces de sala de segunda familia. plena capacidad lavadora / secadora. We stayed a week in this cabin and truly loved it. It was perfectly situated to hit the other areas like Buena Vista to rent a jeep or go shopping in Breckenridge. The south Platte River was a bucket list item for me and it was 9 miles away from the cabin so that'checked off now. Loved the House, perfect for the family and two pets. Really quiet at night and really loved having the windows open at night. Kitchen was setup very well, having 3 bathrooms was very jive tooloved having the windoopenoffnowThe

We had a great time. Home was what we expected. Very well appointed and lots of amenities. We were only disappointed in the parking. We were told there was plenty of room for a truck and trailer. Was very cumbersome to maneuver things around.
However we would most likely go back

The cabin was clean. All the essentials we needed and then some. Quiet cozy but roomy. Highly recommend it. We have rented many cabins over the years and this ranks in the top 3. Very pleased.

The house was perfect for our family. 3 stories allowed for us each to have our own private space while also providing an area for us all to be together. The house was set up with everything we needed to be comfortable and exactly what we wanted. Michael made everything easy and welcoming, made us feel like family. The location was also ideal as it was close to several trails that we explored in our ATVs. This place made our family vacation one that we will all remember, we loved every second of it.

We absolutely LOVED this house. It was perfect. My husband and I and our two kids along with their families had plenty of room to stay. The area was beautiful! I highly recommend this property.

This property was perfect, everything was comfortable and cozy. The view was amazing! We spent a good amount of time on the porch enjoying the view! FairPlay is a great little town with plenty to do near by! 10/10

We visited FairPlay for a family spring break trip and stayed at this beautiful home in a great location, house was everything listed & more. The host Mike is a very courteous and hospitable we highly recommend staying here for a getaway.

The house is clean and is as described! Great communication with owner. I would hate for anyone to take this as a negative because the property is so nice, but, the only complaint was the knives in the kitchen were very dull, glass cutting board does that. But we lucliky brought our own. That small issue did not affect or spoil the property in any way! 5 star owner and property.

We loved this cabin! Perfect location, spectular views. Great host. We are hoping to spend another week this fall. The kitchen is very well stocked and the beds are comfortable.

We did not get to stay at this property because roads were closed in eastern Colorado because of snow. We were very bummed but when I contacted Michael and told him our circumstances. He graciously gave us a full refund! It was very kind of him! We will definitely try to use the property again.

We enjoyed our stay in FairPlay very much! The cabin was very spacious and comfortable. The host was helpful and answered any questions we had.

We had a wonderful time at this spot. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook for a family (surpassed past Vrbo experiences). Our family truly enjoyed all the spaces. Even though there are neighbors, we still felt like we had privacy.
A suggestion (not a complaint): the washer and dryer may need some general maintenance. The washer door couldn’t open (put the detergent in the drum), and dryer beeped while drying. This is totally not a deal breaker.

Beautiful view from living room and 3rd floor balcony. Bedroom window views have the mine in the distance. We werent excited about that. Being close to town, you can hear truck traffic. Neighbors are closer than we expected, not as private as expected. Great proximity to scenic drives. Beautiful cabin, plenty of space. Being in the forest has it's challenges, we did clean up a lot of mouse evidence each morning, mainly along the baseboards.

House is beautiful, check in was easy. Property easy to locate. Is up a gravel road so plan on a car wash. Lots of kitchen amenities. We did find a mouse but to be expected in the woods.

This cabin is about 1 hour from many World-Class Mountain Disc Golf Courses, some of the best in the world and best of Colorado so we used it as a basecamp for daily treks to Beaver Ranch, Bear Mountain, and A-Basin/Keystone/Breckenridge.
The checkin process was great, I did run into a hangup where I couldn't find the check-in info including the code to get into the cabin but I was able to call Michael directly and he answered immediately and was able to assist right then and there.
The Cabin doesn't have AC and lacks any window coverings for the big a-frame windows part, so it will act sorta like a greenhouse in the mid to late afternoon times, making it quite toasty inside the cabin at these times. The temps drop significantly at night though so you can just use one of the many fans they provide and put them into the windows at night for natural AC.
The deck also lacks any shade in the afternoon, so while there are plenty of nice outdoor furniture pieces, you will find yourself frying from the sun and we found that rather unpleasant. A sun-sail or an umbrella would really make this space perfect to be in the afternoon.
We made good use of the grill and oven for BBQ, The grill needs a bit of a deep cleaning but the grates are pretty clean. The kitchen is very well equipped, had everything you could ever need, even BBQ rubs and seasonings!
We loved having our own spaces to operate out of for a few days and would love to be back in the future.

Excellent getaway for our family to recharge, reset and relax. Perfect quiet location but within driving distance to popular attractions and scenic drives. Plenty of room for our family and had every amenity we possibly needed. We enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back.

We totally loved the beautiful setting and the amenities of the cabin, but there was an excessive amount of animal hair on couches and rugs- fortunately not the beds.

My parents were visiting and we wanted a quick weekend getaway to be in the trees and take in the beautiful Colorado views and that is what this property provided. We were relaxed in the spacious home and were pleasantly surprised by the amount of kid friendly (plates, forks, etc.) available for our 1.5 year old. Would come and stay again!

The cabin is absolutely beautiful! We loved walking around the property and gazing up at the mountains. FairPlay was a cute town and only 40 mins to skiing at Breckinridge. Communication with owner was smooth. We really enjoyed our time here!!!!

We just got back from spending a week at the home over Thanksgiving and had an AWESOME TIME!
Michael was easy to work with and helped out for 1 thing prior to arrival. Everything worked as expected and we didn't need to call him at all during our stay! Things went extremely smooth.
House is awesome. The views are amazing! Pictures do not do it justice. The place was extremely clean and ready to go once we walked in. Gas fireplaces are great since you don't need to worry about firewood or ashes.
Big upstairs bedroom and bathroom. The main floor bedroom was perfect for one family member who is handicapped and doesn't do stairs well.
The only thing that we were not aware was the downstairs bedroom/family room is not separated. But, it was not a big deal at all. Just for awareness for others.
Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need.
Fairplay is about a 5 min drive from the home. In town, you have a grocery store, restaurants, ski equipment rental, gas stations, small stores, coffee shops, etc. Pretty much anything you will need while staying here. Even with the city that close, you wouldn't know it as the home is tucked away.
We did bring our dogs and they loved running through the woods on the property!
Recommend if you are looking to head to Colorado for a get-away!

We brought our dogs who loved the area and the house had everything we needed. It is secluded but yet close to town to get supplies. Highly recommend for a trip. We hope to stay again soon!

This property was wonderful! Lots of space both indoor and outdoor. Close to great hiking trails and to the cute downtown. There were only four of us; we had lots of space. Would be a nice family or friend retreat location. Highly recommend!
