We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very nice, clean, and had everything we needed. Very enjoyable stay.

This was our 2nd year to stay here. We had a great family christmas. Looking forward to coming back next year.

We had a wonderful stay at Juniper Woods Farmhouse. The layout of the home is perfect, and our kids especially loved the bunk room. The adults loved the well-appointed kitchen, the comfortable living room, and the outdoor patio. The AC worked great! We would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a vacation stay.

My family really enjoyed our time at the Juniper Woods Farmhouse. The property was incredibly clean and comfortable. Everything was in great working order and we really enjoyed staying in the Texas hill country. We were close enough to drive and enjoy all of the area's amenities but we could then escape the busy hussle and bussle and relax in the country. The sunsets were beautiful and what I enjoyed most was how quiet it was, absolutely no road noise. Thanks so much for a great stay, we hope to return one day!

We loved our stay at this Juniper Farmhouse! We had three families and kids, so the size of the home was perfect for us! The bunk room was amazing - it made our kids feel so grown up being able to stay in their own space with their own bathroom and their own tv. It was perfect for the kids. The other three bedrooms were great for the adults. The extra space upstairs was really neat, so much natural light throughout the entire home. They also have two washers and dryers, so for three families that was perfect. Every light switch and kitchen cabinet was labeled which was nice. Tons of kitchen utensils and dishes, bowls, etc. our kids enjoyed making s'mores at night. There is a nice fire pit area in the back but we didn't use it since it was windy the nights we were there. We couldn't locate extra trash bags, so we used grocery bags for trash at the end of our trip. Also, it was only about 5-10 minutes down the road to Gruene which we loved. We also drove to Wimberley for a day and it was an easy drive. Overall, our stay was so nice and the house was very clean and well maintained! We would love to stay there again.

Easy to find. Near a huge HEB. Saw a deer in the backyard woods one morning. Enjoyed the fire pit. The bunk room was awesome. The upstairs was perfect for star gazing. All the rooms were spacious. The kitchen was well-equipped, and there was an outdoor BBQ pit. Hidden nicely in the woods with no signs of nearby neighbors. What more could you want!

PERFECT! The lay out was great. Place was clean and household items and toiletries available. Plenty of towels too! Close to a grocery store, river and water park and of course Gruen. Favorite was the outdoor patio and upstairs room for the kids!

This house is great and has plenty of room. The kitchen has all the gadgets and pans you need to cook meals. A/C was amazing before and after we floated the river. If we were to change anything about this house it would be the mattresses in all rooms except for the bunk beds. All of them were uncomfortable because they have ruts down the middle. Also. There needs to be more padded seating in the living room if you are advertising room for large groups.

We had a fantastic time. The home was comfortable and inviting. We enjoyed the kitchen as we brought a chef. The fire pit allowed for a great story time for the family. The large tables both inside and out were used for game wars... lol! Very nice place!!

Where do I start (Lengthy)... We just returned from our stay. We had the most amazing time. The house was very easy to find. It sits tucked away from the road. I will say the driveway is rocky and not paved yet so be careful when walking up to the door. The outside looks just like all the photos. The house is big, bright and clean. We stayed from 12/24-12/29. They had the house decorated for us for the holidays. It was a very pleasant surprise. They had a fully decorated Christmas tree, although the lights did not work, it was still beautiful. They had wreaths on the doors and welcome basket filled with Christmas goodies and supplies for s’mores. The house has everything you will need for your stay. The WiFi worked great even with all 10 of us using it. All bathrooms are very large and had full sized bottles of Dove body wash and Pantene shampoo/ conditioner. All the soap dispensers were full, and they had more than enough towels and blankets. It was 10 of us that stayed at the house and it was plenty of space to where we were not on top of each other. Everyone had a room they could go to for privacy and then meet up later. The kitchen was fully stocked with trash bags, all the cups, plates, bowls, servers, you name it. There was coffee, sugar and all the spices you need too. We didn’t realize they would supply us with so much and brought our own things which we ended up leaving in our cars. We were close to an HEB, and gas stations and all sorts of eateries. We lit the fire pit most nights and made s’mores. On Christmas Day we had dinner outside on the back patio and it was plenty of space for all of us to be comfortable. There were a couple days we were able to walk the neighborhood and enjoyed seeing the deer and looking out at the beautiful scenery. The area is very quiet and everyone we passed were very friendly. We appreciated the fact that there was no tv in the great room so we could talk and spend quality time with each other. We used the upstairs room for movie nights a couple times and everyone was able to sit comfortably. I think if we had anything to complain about it would be the water pressure in the master bathroom. For such a beautiful bathroom that water pressure was awful. If someone was taking a shower at that same time in another bathroom it was even worse. I think This is due to them getting water from the well. This is by no means a deal breaker. Just something we all noticed. But we all said we would want to stay here again in a heartbeat. We were able to relax and unplug and enjoy our Christmas and close out 2020 on a high note. It was a truly enjoyable stay.

Gonna be a little lengthy, sorry. We loved our stay at this beautiful home!! The space was adequate for 3 families, there were 6 adults and 6 children. It has an open floor plan and we didn’t feel as if we were all up on each other. Checking in and out was easy, we were able to communicate with the management team via text with any needs. The home had everything we needed in the kitchen, even seasonings!! You don’t need to bring anything, they even provide serving dishes. The beds were comfortable and the linen is of good quality. This is important to me because I hate using poor quality towels to shower. There are also towels to take to the river, beach chairs, and a pop up tent. The kids had a blast with the toys and games. The view is wonderful, we enjoyed sitting out on the back porch by the fireplace as the kids made s’mores. We tried to venture out and walk around the property but it’s not readily accessible past the area where the home is. There were a couple of things that I would mention; My nephew has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and is wheelchair bound. All the entrance doors had steps of some kind, so the men had to lift my nephews wheelchair that weighed 600lbs to get it inside. My daughter searched and found a board that we used as a ramp for him to come inside and out. So bring a portable ramp if you need it. Another thing is the darkness by the grill outside. A light near that spot would be great. Overall those things aren’t deal killers for us, we would return. Thanks for allowing us to borrow your beautiful home!! P.S. We used Shipt to deliver groceries from the H?E?B that’s 10-15 min away.

Gorgeous, clean house and so well stocked, it met all our needs/wants. It would have been good to know about the 12-y/o limit for the top bunks though. If only it was on the water!

Perfect getaway experience! The house was just as described and clean. There were snacks and water provided when we arrived and the owners were very responsive. The outdoor firepit was perfect for family time and making snores. The surrounding area was peaceful and it was fun to watch the deer as they frequently walked through the back yard. The location was close to downtown yet not to far from the lake and river entrances. Overall great experience!

The property was perfect for my Bachelorette group!! The house was clean and just enough room for everyone to have their own space. As well as plenty of bathrooms which great for a group of girls!! Overall, perfect vacation spot!!

We had a nice stay. The kids loved the bunk room and the rain shower! We had fun playing the games and exploring the area. The house was clean and kitchen had plenty of utensils and items we needed. Thanks for a great week! Also, the deer visitors were a nice touch :)

If you are looking for a beautiful home that feels secluded but still close to shopping, restaurants and things to do, then this is the place! Accommodations for both large and small groups. Kitchen is well stocked for a rental - nice pots and pans, lots of spices, plenty of dishes and glasses. I only wish it was cooler so we could have really enjoyed the fire pit. The curb appeal/approach to the house could be better. Currently using orange cones to block a/c, septic, etc. But the inside more than makes up for that. Thanks for a great getaway!

My girlfriends and I came here for the weekend and had a blast. This house is right out of a magazine! It's so elegant and every detail has been thought through. I would highly recommend this beautiful home!
