The best stocked, best decorated vacation rental I've been in. Full of thoughtful touches and generally flawless. Excellent convenient location to the lake (where my toddler pulled up 10 fish!), to the restaurants, and also super short walk to the beach (but rent a golf cart to make it even easier). We will be back!

The location of LegaSea was perfect. We could walk or take the golf cart easily to anywhere. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. The layout worked great for our 2 families. The balcony had plenty of comfy furniture for all of us to sit out and enjoy, and we grilled and ate outside at the dining table too. It was also right by the lake and the guys fished some too. We really enjoyed our stay at LegaSea.

The upstairs of the house was smaller than I thought, specifically the kitchen. It made it tight to move around in there with a couple people and kids flocking about. Sheets and towels were luxurious. The house could have used a good dusting-I understand it may not happen between each cleaning but it looked like it has been months, under couches, credenzas etc. At a place with little kids dropping food, puzzle pieces, toys, we will be noticing if there is dust in those places. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the things you could need to cook. The couch and pillows were comfy. The mattresses in the two bedrooms upstairs need to be flipped as the mattress dips where you lay on each side. The house, as you entered downstairs, gave off a musty smell and left some of our clothes smelling that way. Lots of great balconies with beautiful views of the lake. They had some toys and books that my kids enjoyed. The location was great other than the fact that in the evenings, you could hear golf carts/ music from the front bedrooms of course not all night long but until the quiet hours so I recommend a sound machine for littles. C.S replaced a blender that was broken almost immediately. Everything else functioned well. Love that the rooms had fans for extra air flow!

We have stayed at LegaSea numerous times and it occupies a special place in our hearts. When possible, we have planned visits to Cinnamon Shore around the availability of this house, because we have such fond feelings for it. We have stayed at a few other properties the past two years because LegaSea had become difficult to book, so we were excited for the return visit. The house remains beautiful, but we had two specific issues. Some of the lighting is terrible. It appears that there has been an effort to replace all the bulbs with bright white fluorescent lights, and it honestly really changes the feel of the house. Secondly, the bedding has changed for the worse. This house had beautiful and luxurious bedding at one point. Now, the sheets are literally hospital sheets. Just the worst quality, like sandpaper. All the beds have the same sheets. The mattresses, too, have changed and are now hard and uncomfortable, with a waterproof layer adding to the hospital feel. It’s sad, because we have had many happy times there, but at these prices, we will probably choose a different house next time.

The house floorplan was great for our family. The location in Cinnamon Shores was perfect...close to the activities and shops. We read the reviews prior to staying in this home...we almost rented a different property because of the reviews. Overall...happy that we stayed at LegaSea. A few items we found that could be improved...the upstairs family room and patio upholstered furniture had a good amount of stains....very dirty. I'd recommend cleaning or replacing, the showers upstairs were dirty (hair/mold) and the downstairs (ground level) area smelled very musty and a little damp. Overall, I'd recommend this property.

Great stay at Cinnamon Shore
We enjoyed our stay. The property was great and we loved the location. The house was well equipped but the patio was pretty dirty upon our arrival (old water bottles on the ground, dirt and leaves everywhere). We also found some dead bugs inside. We wished the towels and beach toys were easier to find, and that they had a Keurig. However overall we were happy with our stay and would stay there again.

This house is very nice. The layout is great for multiple families, in a great location & has great views. We had 4 couples & 3 children/babies. The bunk room was well-appointed and great for a family with children. There are no closets in the master or the bunk room. They have built-in areas for hanging clothes and suitcases. My reason for noting this is my niece had planned to put the pack n play in the bunk room closet but she ended up putting it in the laundry room. The other 2 bedrooms do have closets. The family room is very comfortable with a sectional, 2 chairs and a nice dining table. The owner also has a cabinet with adult/children's games and puzzles. The outdoor space has seating, bar table/chairs, dining table/chairs, gas grill and 2 very comfortable chair swings. The house was well-appointed with nice bedroom linens, appliances, plenty of dishes, blowdryers in each bath and lots of beach towels for our use.
We ended up having some bad luck with the dishwasher and washer breaking during our stay. I don't think this was neglect, but rather bad timing. Cinnamon Shores tried to fix both but each appliance needed parts which could not be obtained during our stay. The owners were gracious and gave us compensation for the inconvenience. CS manager, Amber, personally took our clothes one day and washed them for us! So sweet! My only recommendation to the owners or information for renters is that there are no microwavable bowls/service ware for a group and there was only 1 kitchen towel and 1 kitchen wash cloth. These two things are definitely not deal breakers but worth noting. The house was well-appointed, and we would definitely stay here again!

This home is beautiful, comfortable and convenient to the amenities. The house was spotless when we arrived. We were frustrated that certain important appliances did not work properly. The heat on the dishwasher may not be working, that was what we figured when the grease was not cut on the dishes, the soap never dispersed properly and the dishes were never dry. Also, the microwave was non-functioning. A maintenance man brought us a spare but it took up precious counter space. We had a toilet that needed to be fixed twice during our stay. We also saw 3 roaches, one on the couch, one in the master bedroom and one in the dishwasher. Also, we probably wouldn't stay right in the middle of the community, especially with the 4th of July late-night activity. Our neighbors in the condos next door played loud music and the golf carts blaring music went on past 11:00 on the 4th and 5th.

This was our favorite Cinnamon Shores home yet. The flow of the home worked well for our family and the extended family staying with us. The decor of the home was lovely and these homeowners had everything we needed! And the location of the home within the community can’t be beat. We will definitely be staying here again next summer.

The pools, beach set up with umbrellas, golf cart and boardwalk access to the beach, movies on the lawn, fabulous restaurant on property, private Chef Fred available for booking and the list goes on! LegaSea is a gorgeous property that we plan to return to! The staff at Cinnamon Shore was readily accessible and helpful in all areas. Highly recommend to all.

LegaSea is a gorgeous property that we plan to return to! The staff at Cinnamon Shore was readily accessible and helpful in all areas. Highly recommend to all.

beds comfortable/ air condition vgood/ couldn't get dvd to work in main living area. had to go downstairs. master BR toilet clogged once and we had to call maintenance. the outside trash can was full when we got there. dishwasher was not fully working. there were 4 dead roaches we picked up. the out door chairs were not clean. the floors were not clean cause bottom of our socks would get dirty quickly. the grill was left dirty so we didn't feel comfortable using. fridge and other appliances good. plenty of room for our golf carts and vehicles. we lost our key and were charged 50 bucks . so don't lose your keys umbrellas on beach were a little to close together for our liking. had a great vacation. weather was perfect and no mosquitos this year. planning on returning for 3rd year in a row next year but will probably get newer house. cleaning crew needs more time to clean in between rentals here . liked the new Dylans and we liked the pools and new cabanas. we wouldn't recommend this house to a friend but we recommend CShores all the time.

The house is lovely, clean, well-stocked and very well designed and appointed. We have stayed at CS 3 other times and this is our favorite home. However the wedding was very disrupting. A loud wedding with rowdy guests was an issue last year too. This year the very loud music and DJ went until 12:20 and left trash all over. Plus we didn't have access to the keira's pool and other areas due to set up and take down. The houses are consistently great but these weddings are making myself and other families we travel with reconsider staying again. Being in the middle of a bustling wedding venue isn't exactly a serene family vacation.

We have stayed at Cinnamon Shore 7 times - 5 Houses - 5 consecutive years, 2 Condos. We stayed at LegaSea 200 GU 2017 and 2018. Overall we like the layout of the house - it works for our family. My biggest complaint is that the house needs a major cleaning from top to bottom. The furnishings - bed and decorative pillows, bedding, slipcovers and seating - all need a major cleaning. This is an expensive property to rent for a week at the beach. We were told that there was a new owner this year, after Hurricane Harvey and the new owner had completely redone the property - I would take exception to this statement. No evidence of a redo. Also, after the hurricane there is a roach problem on the first floor of the house that needs to be addressed. I would only recommend this property to a friend after letting them know the concerns I have addressed above.

We had the best time at LegaSea for a long Mother's Day weekend! Every detail has been taken care of. Comfortable beds, soft linens, stocked kitchen, indoor and outdoor living areas, kids toys and games...I could go on and on! Great vacation home for families!

We have stayed at Cinnamon Shores for 4 years. This is the second home we have stayed in. We are always excited to come and sad to leave.
Octagon Fishin is a gorgeous well appointed beach home with a great view and access to Colby Lake and the beach. Home had everything we needed to spice and cook.
We rented a golf cart and had beach chairs placed on the beach. It was nice to be able to travel to the beach and a bit up and down the beach. Not to mention the property. Having them place the chairs for us every morning was heavenly.
We had excellent customer service from both Leah and Kelly as well. Looking forward to our 5th year visit, You will be thrilled to stay at Octagon Fishin!

Fabulous house; all the beds were comfortable, even the bunk beds! Plenty of room to spread out and do your own thing. It was very quiet, very clean, and very well maintained. Great location, close to pool and activities. We were there with 10 people: 8 adults and 2 kids. Super house for an extended family vacation. Thanks so much!
