We had a delightful stay in Saint Emilion and the house was lovely. All we needed for our two night visit and very comfortable. A property with a lot of charm and style. Eric was great and made the key hand over very easy. Location superb.

Absolutely loved our stay, everything about it was fantastic. The house was excellent, and very clean. It was in a very convenient and peaceful location with lovely views. We really enjoyed the cave! Eric was a brilliant host and was very helpful, we particularly appreciated his help with booking taxis.
Nothing, it was a wonderful experience

Our stay in Saint-Emilion was an absolute delight! Eric, our host, made communication easy even before the trip. The house is charming and cozy, with meticulous attention to detail. We felt warmly welcomed, and Eric's passion for the town was evident. The thoughtful amenities like water, coffee, homemade marmalade, and biscuits were a lovely touch. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. We highly recommend this unique and unforgettable experience.
Nothing.

The place was absolutely stunning and perfect for a stay in St Emilion! Eric was such a gracious host who ended up meeting us at the train station upon our arrival. The apartment was also in a central location so we did not need a car or public transportation. He then helped us schedule tours at nearby vineyards and made recommendations for restaurants. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a getaway in St Emilion!

This is a charming little three story house, beautifully appointed and the location was wonderful. The owner is so charming and met us with warmth and offered any help we needed. Such a beautiful setting!

Everything: Eric, the host, is by far the best I have ever encountered in my years of travel rentals. Even prior to our meeting, Eric was helpful and responsive. He even met us at the train station upon arrival and brought us to his beautiful apartment—- right out of the pages of an architecture magazine. This is a restoration of love and care and the decor reflects this. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms beautiful.
Nothing! it is perfect!

Eric did everything to help make our stay perfect! He got us a dinner reservation when the city was fully booked, made recommendations for winery visits and provided his lovely apartment in a beautiful city! Perfect!

The apartment, the location and Eric the host were just absolutely perfect ! ... Eric is a superstar ~ his knowledge, advice and suggestions should all be taken on board if you are lucky enough to stay at Rue des Ecoles ... Eric's suggestion to tour the Montlabert Winery was brilliant and most enjoyable.
There was nothing to dislike !

The location was great and the house is very clean. Our host, Eric, was very kind and knowledgeable about the local wineries. The house cave was very cool!

Eric, the host, is the perfect gentleman. Nothing is too much trouble. The property was perfect. Beautifully presented. The bed was extremely comfy The shower pressure was great. The location perfect. There is no TV in the lounge area but TVs in both bedrooms. Just something to think about if the weather is not too great. We were lucky and had beautiful weather. We will be coming back to this property. I can't recommend it enough.
TV in the lounge for rainy days. But there is plenty to do in the area to keep you busy.

Clean, nice touches like bottles of water and cool thanks to air conditioning.

Beautiful quirky, unique town house, with intriguing limestone caves underneath. The internal decorations were very interesting and had everything you needed for a few nights stay. The bed was very comfortable indeed.Eric Le Collen, the host was very helpful regarding restaurants and wine tours in the area.
The air conditioning was very effective in the 1st floor bedroom but very noisy.
When the weather is hot there is no outside space/chairs to soak up the sun.
The bedroom would benefit from having some coat hangers instead of having everything folded on shelves.
Car parking- is rather inconvenient as you have to park away from the property and have to move the car each morning to avoid expensive charges.

Great location, lovely property. Very well designed, super clean and comfy. Lots of little extras included.

Great quiet convenient location.
We were only told there will be extra cost for using both bedrooms after booking.

location, Eric, the bed, cleanliness, the cellar, impossible to fault!

Host who went over and above his responsibilities to help arrange sightseeing in St Emilion

We had the entire place to ourselves with a coffee maker and access to the wine cave. The location was perfect as we could walk to everything except the two winery's we visited. the owner is very knowledgeable about wine. Parking was close

This was the most uniquely beautiful and charming gite we have ever experienced. Eric met us at the entrance and was warm, charming and helpful with dining and chateaux reservations. His home is delightful, bright, and comfortable with homey accents, ideal climate control, excellent shower and hot water pressure, all the amenities we needed in the kitchen, very comfortable bed and beautiful view from bedroom and bath windows. The best part was his PHENOMENAL private cave on two levels just below the house, with romantic music and mood lighting that comes on when the entry switch is turned on. We bought a bottle of Eric's terrific 2015 (great year for Saint-Émilion wines) Grande Cuvée to drink there for an unforgettable evening! Our visit was a month after the harvest so the free parking was available next to his home. The location was perfect for wandering on foot throughout Saint-Émilion center. Perfection all around!

Eric was a wonderful host and his place was so charming. A beautiful renovated limestone house at the heart of the old town of st. Emilion, with beautiful furniture and attention to detail. Eric also made sure we had everything we needed and even organsised a wine tour for us. It is hard to get a 9.8 rating, this one should be a 10.

Fantastic location in town. Perfect for 3 or 4 people. Comfortably furnished. Parking is tricky due to limited spots and one way streets but the owner met us at the apartment and helped us find a space easily.
Was perfect given the price.
Air conditioning was a bit noisy but not a major issue.

Everything, the location, the style, facilities
The host was very helpful when we needed help.
The only problem was being asked to leave at 10am for the cleaning lady to enter as new guests were arriving at 1pm. Check-out was listed as until 12 which we chose on purpose due to working the day before until very late and wanted to sleep longer. Check-in for us was from 4pm so it was odd to vacate for new arrivals at 1pm

The apartment is artistically decorated with great taste. We think the location is perfect. The apartment situates at the edge of the city center so not as many tourists passing by constantly but still close enough that we can reach anywhere of interest within 3 ~ 8 minutes walking distance. The two levels of underground basement is like a mini museum giving you a good understanding of the golden age of limestone building rock extraction at St. Emilio dated as back 1,000 years ago. The host Eric is extremely responsive with all our questions and special requests throughout our stay. We stayed a total of 5 days and wished we have had time to stay longer.
Would have liked a bathroom on ground floor but I guess that is just something “there is nothing can be done”.

This property blew us away. It is a renovated apartment with great features but keeps the beautiful look of the original property. It is well laid out and in a great location in town. It provides parking which is good in such a tightly packed town. Owner is very helpful and friendly and his recommendations are great

Everything, comfortable bed, great location, terrific owner, beautifully renovated and great cellar underneath.
