Staff extremely helpful, came to our room to show us how to work the shower. Provided us with extra crockery and cutlery. Clean room.

Door stop broken. Had a room facing the main road which was noisy with cars and young people loitering around entrance to botanical garden.

Everyone of the staff made us feel welcome.

The only thing was not being used to traffic. But it wasn't too noisy.

it was right next to the Botanical Gardens

we were there for 3 nights and the menu for dinner didn’t change. would have liked a bit more choice. Also our room was over the hotels laundry and one night the washing machines and dryer was going all night which was annoying. otherwise our room was really nice very large and comfortable.

The location is not central but that means it’s quieter and conveniently located on the one way system for going into the centre or traveling north out of town. Close to numerous franchises for a cheap meal and across the road from the lovely Botanic Gardens and cafe.

There are no lifts so if stairs are a problem or you have heavy suitcases you might want to request a ground floor room.

Room smelled of smoke and lingered for the first 12hrs

Convenient location, nice setting, modern room with comfortable bed. Very helpful friendly staff.
