Alles in allen war es gut für ein Kurztrip. Frühstück war für jeden was dabei.
Im Bad waren der Haltegriff in der Dusche sowie die Brausestange lose, ansonsten war alles okay.

Nur öffentlich rechtliche Sender, Katastrophe gut das es WLAN gab um sich die Langeweile zu vertreiben
Matratze könnte man bereits entsorgen (Comfortzimmer)
Aufgrund der Transporter auf dem Parkplatz ist es schwierig dort zu parken.
Sehr dünne Wände, das Schnarchen anderer gäste muss man nicht unbedingt hören, total fürn Ar..... Ein u. Auszuschlafen

Lage, Personal im Frühstücksraum
Beschreibung wie das Zimmer angeboten wird, passt nicht. Zimmer im "Comfort Gebäude", einfach alt und runter gekommen. Viel defekt z.B. Leuchtmittel, Armaturen Dusche

Great value, close to transport links, quiet
Had an extremely angry member of staff on the phone. I realised at around 8pm that check in ended at 10pm (completely my mistake) and called them up to see if I could check in late and the lady on the phone was so rude and hostile (not German direct, rude) that I almost didn't want to go to the hotel. Aside from that all the other staff were great.

It was a nice location, metro close by, several stores close by.
The option on how to clean the room was nice, the present we got was nice.
The elevator didn't work, the heater in our room barely worked, the entrance for the cars didn't look invitable, mini bars outside the room didn't work.
No kettle in the rooms.

Friendly and attentive staff. Very close to the subway and great restaurants near by. The room was clean.
The bathroom is quite old & there were some black spots on the shower curtains. The mattress was ridiculously soft/laid through and made my back ache after 5min.

I liked my room and the place where the hotel is located.

Nice hotel with plenty of parking space. There is a lovely yard with outdoor seating. Room was rather small but efficient and clean, just what I needed for one night stay on the road across Europe. Wifi functioning OK. I did not have a breakfast in the hotel.

Balcony was lovely and good breakfast restocked frequently. Staff very helpful and location great as underground very close to get around Essen and further afield.

The room was very nice, spacious and the toilet was okay. The staff are friendly and willing help..

Breakfast was well layed out with plenty of options. Location was pretty great too! Close to subway station for the main line through Essen. City center only a couple of stops away.
For 80-100 euro's a night I would have expected slightly more luxery with the rooms, mainly the bathroom. A modern shower for example. Also the pillows didn't offer much support.

It was one of the cheaper hotels in the area of the Veltins Arena, so for one night it was ok.
Breakfast was good with a lot of choice
The Room was probably not remodeled since the 70/80's. It was super dated.
But the worst part are the "pillows", if you can call it that... It had not even a slightest bit of comfort, but for one night... It was livable.

As the hotel is located outside the city center, it was quiet. The hotel has a nice yard.

Very affordable hotel. Breakfast is very good value for money. Comfort room is a little outdated, but everything is clean and in good working order.
Street noise in comfort room. Certainly when the window is open. Curtains let a lot of light through.
Parking can be an issue. When you return late in the evening, the underground parking of the hotel is closed.

the room was kind of warm and we couldn't open the windows because it was very noisy.
I paid a pet fee but I got nthing for the pet: no bed, no bowl for water.
