cramped kitchen it could do with more microwaves or nother kitchen

First time using a yha and I as very impressed. The bed was comfortable, everywhere clean, kitchen facilities brilliant and the staff very obliging and friendly. Fabulous location

Shared bathing facilities but that's expected with the cost being so low

location is excellent, cleanliness is excellent.

Room Prices are quiet expensive as it is a hostel & not hotel. it was freezing in the room until I asked member of staff to turn on heaters otherwise we could have slept in freezing cold check in is 17:00 & Check out is 10:00 AM so if booked 1 night this means 17 hrs for spiky price, unfortunately this hostel was Better for the past years. internet is terrible

staff very welcoming. we had a 4 man room. it was well lit, clean and spacious. the room was warm and comfortable. beds were comfortable too. 2 toilet and 2 shower clean, shared among 3 rooms on the floor we were at. there is also a kitchen if you want to cook your own.

shower not very hot. continental breakfast a bit disappointing as limited variety of pastry and bread.

cleanness and quiet

Regular visitor for short birdwatching and holiday breaks. Always friendly and clean. Close to facilities and station, and local bus stops.

Woken by adjacent shower running for over half hour at 2.30am. Went to check if had been left on, door was wide open but man in there when I called to them, luckily curtain closed. Returned to my room and made sure my door was locked. They should have used shower away from where people were trying to sleep, and not for over half an hour in middle of night and left door open???

Friendly staff, really clean, flexible booking in times

Helpful friendly staff, comfortable room and beds, very handy location for our stay. Breakfasts had a good variety and plenty of it.

Some of the fixture and fittings were a bit worn out, (door locks) Warm water came out of both our hot and cold taps. The bedroom was a bit too warm. We are being very picky, we really enjoyed our stay.
