the location was perfect. there was free breakfast which was nice.

it doesn’t say there was a room above it! and the that owners are not even 10 meters away ( they were lovely though) you could here the people above walking around and flushing the toilet. The pictures of the room need to be updated! The room is tiny and smelt musky

Nice clean accomodation on ground floor and a short walk to the pig and whistle pub (or a three minute drive from Olinda town centre).

Mattress is a little too soft for my old back. A step is needed (supplied in the cupboard) to climb into the spa for access to the shower, not an easy task for someone recovering from knee surgery. Bathroom in room above kitchen provides a few unwelcome sounds otherwise kitchen is very good. Tip - open the door and put the stove fan on full power when cooking otherwise it is too easy to set the fire alarm off.

The property was gorgeous! Quaint and well located it was a lovely place for a weekend getaway. The decor was beautiful!

Mary Cards was the perfect base for our Dandenongs stay. The accommodation was very comfortable and breakfast provisions were generous. Everything we required was at our fingertips.

Very Homey, quiet and in a great location

I liked that there were bottles of water available in the fridge. The host was clear regarding the check-in procedure. The property was lovely and felt very immersive to the environment in Olinda. The water pressure of the shower was astounding!

The toilet had issues with flushing and regulating itself. The bed frame was insanely creaky. The mattress was a bit too hard with the pillows being a bit too soft. We expected the bedroom to be bigger since we were basing our expectations off of the pictures online. We also expected that the breakfast would be cooked for us since it was labelled a B&B.

We had such a relaxing stay. The Oak Suite was cosy and had all the amenities that we needed. The fridge and pantry were stocked with wonderful breakfast supplies. Thank you Rick and Paula.

The only 2 things that I could fault would be how difficult it is to get in and out of the spa/shower and that you can hear the guests staying above you.

Breakfast was well catered for and exceeded our expectations. We were a little surprised by the selection of available cereals, especially the inclusion of Coco Pops and Rice Bubbles, which we consider to be better suited to younger folk's tastes. The muesli was welcome, however, and the cooked breakfast options were varied and fresh.

We were surprised by the traffic noise which, whilst no fault of the establishment, was more than we had expected of a rural setting. Fortunately, our days were very much on the go, and we had no difficulty sleeping as were very tired. Light sleepers may not enjoy the sound of revving motors well into the night. A few more instructions regarding such things as the operation of the gas heater would have been welcomed.

The room was clean and cozy! The location was fantastic, in walking distance to places to eat and a short drive to beautiful parks and places to walk. Very good value for money, with a wonderful breakfast included. Easy to find and parking onsite was so handy.
