nestled among the bush n very quiet. clean and I like the eclectic decor of the house with individual pieces from around the world.

quite inaccessible. very difficult to transfer luggage as there is no direct access to the property except through a long flight of stairs. for us seniors, this can pose a challenge.

Our host was amazing. lovely clean home, generous breakfast provisions, comfortable bedding and warm heading. great instructions on how to get to and into the property.

the water pressure was a bit finicky but we are told about that… also no couch to lounge on was something to get used to but the floor beanbags were fine. :)

location was good, short walking distance to Olinda shops.

it was cosy and clean, nestled in the forest and wild life.

Kyoto, the host is very diligent and checked in after our first day to make sure we were comfortable and didn't need anything. I had requested, before arriving, firm pillows and these were provided. Everything was clean and tidy (bathroom, toilet, kitchen, etc). The breakfast provided was more than I anticipated (cereals, yoghurt, bread, spreads, free-range eggs) and the pots and pans and crockery, etc, was clean and in good condition. The deck was large and it was great to have some local birds (cockatoo, rosellas, kookaburra) visit to eat some of the bird seed provided. We visited in August and I was suprised how warm the place was with the electric wall heaters provided. It was very cosy and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay but we were two adults staying in two bedrooms. My friend drew the short straw and scored the single bed in the second bedroom and the thin-ish mattress wasn't very comfortable for a grown adult. Would be fine for a child. Just a word of warning if you have a bad back or if you're particularly tall!

It was beautiful, clean, warm, welcoming, perfect location and fully stocked. Lots of bush walks and came home to a gorgeous little house to warm up.
