Good location 5/10 minute walk from the centre. Good communication from host, good use of communal living space and the unlimited coffee pods was an amazing bonus.

Very well located in Ghent. The rooms were spacious, airy and modern. Host was great, with fast communication and lots of recommendations for enjoying our stay! It’s also great that bikes are provided to use free of charge.

We stayed in room 1 on the ground floor, and it was quite noisy from guests upstairs and when anyone came in and out of the property.

We loved our recent stay at Alphabed and Bike. The location was wonderful, nearby local cafes and restaurants and a very short walk to many of the sites of Ghent. We particularly loved that there was a kitchen with fridge, microwave and plates, dinner table etc for guest use during their stay, which made it very homely and a relaxed atmosphere.

There are bikes available for guests to use, but if you are a short person, like me, then they are too big, I couldn't touch the ground while sitting on the bike even with the seat at its lowest, which is not a criticism, just that you should be aware they are not designed for people around 150cms height. There is only one bedroom available downstairs, and the rooms are available on a first come first served basis, you choose your own room from what is still available on the day, so I hope that if you needed to stay on the ground level due to mobility issues then the host would possibly hold that room for you (I'm not sure, you can only ask I guess).

Great location, close to centre and main historical sites. The room was very good size and super clean but what made the stay even more special are the bikes. These were well maintained and allowed easier discovery of this beautiful city!

A very modern and comfortable stay. Superb location with easy access to Ghent centre. This was our 4th stay and the addition of free city bikes is great. You can explore the whole city in a cycling friendly area. Can’t fault our stay. Great communication with the owners meant that there were no problems when we arrived. Great value for money.

The location was convenient and away from the main drag but walkable to all the attractions of Ghent

What a great idea: bed and bike! There's also a shared kitchen, so you can make your own breakfast, store your beers in the fridge or grab some coffee.

Sound isolation could be much better, stairs are rather narrow, so it might be difficult to carry a large suitcase.

Great location close to the inner city and a lovely house. You could borrow a bike to travel around like a local. There’s a nespresso machine and a kettle in every room. Good written communication/advices with owners for self check-in.

There’s quite a strong smell in the (bath)room. But I found that situation in several places in Ghent. The walls are thin so the guests in the other rooms and yourself would rely on quiet visitors.

Nice small details in room and whole place, easy check in/out, good shower and bed. Great location for discovering Ghent, while it's quiet.

Room temperature was quite low at first night, warming batteries were not working. The problem was solved on the next day after we messaged host. Although he didn't answer our messages, that was quite uncomfortable.

The location is amazing, the rooms are very clean and comfortable and Marc was really helpful and shared a lot of tips on finding breakfast around. It's quite a perfect stay for 1-2 days with all the facilities you need.

The rooms are a bit small, so it's difficult to really do anything but sleep but it's still worth it for the location!

Property is conveniently located in the city center; if you come in first you can choose your room depending on availability, we were lucky to be upgraded to a larger room. Kitchen/living room downstairs for breakfast/meals. Room decoration and facilities are modern and pleasing. Overall a rather good experience

Mattress in room 2 could be more comfortable. Also heating cannot be controlled at room level, need to call owner as he manages it remotely

Clean/neat and delicately furnished, ideally situated, the bikes for the day :)

Maybe the self check-in depending on the open doors might make you feel left out on other rooms, but nothing bad at all :)

The guest house was centrally located. Very clean, Nespresso machine in every room. My room 3 had a small balcony was very quiet. I liked the free bicycles the guest house offers. Very useful. High quality bicycles. Sure thing I will stay there again on my next trip.

Super clean and great location. The bathroom was new, clean, and spacious. Bed is so comfortable. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you Mark!
