Terrific location, very welcoming and friendly staff, comfortable clean room in a really central location at a very reasonable price.

The room wasn't en suite (although this is absolutely reflected in the price and the shower room was very clean and close to the room)

This is a very comfortable guest house in beautiful Stonehaven. We loved the old house and it was very quiet and peaceful. There is no elevator and you will need to do some stairs. The breakfast is wonderful. The staff are friendly and helpful. You are on the main road close to the town square, so walking is easy to anywhere in town. There is great off street parking.

Very clean and friendly guesthouse in the Center of the town, the rooms were perfect for that over night stay!

The room was really comfortable and quiet, more spacious than I expected, with a toilet and a washbasin. The shared shower was very conveniently right next to the room. Everything was clean and well-kept, and the house was beautiful. Location great, walking distance to the train station and just a couple of minutes to the shore. Breakfast was also great, with vegetarian and vegan options.

Friendliness and helpfulness of staff were excellent. Beautiful old building (the stained glass window was gorgeous) and great location. Clean an fresh. Had everything we needed. Easy check-in after hours.

We (my niece and I) personally thought the beds were a bit hard and uncomfortable, and the single bed was a little bit "wobbly". Breakfast was good with lots to choose from on the menu. However, we missed not getting any jam or marmalade with the toast. We also wished there would have been some fresh fruit. Perhaps this is a bit unfair as we compared with previous breakfasts on our trip.

Everything was great, located at the center of the town and on the way to train station. Room was clean, spotless and bathroom was modern. Shower was just outside the bedroom, and worked perfectly. Host was nice, breakfast was fantastic.
