Location fantastic.

Pokey small room.very stuffy looking out to bins at the back.said breakfast included....no breakfast at all.no bread to make toast-no orange juice.had to go to another hotel for breakfast. No value for our £108 stay for one nite. Daylight robbery comes to mind.......

The owner was a really lovely lady who made us feel very welcome the moment we met her. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very spacious, cosy, clean & we had a wonderful view of Stonehaven Harbour

Unfortunately on arrival, we were told that the B&B wasn't offering breakfast at that time so instead we were given a voucher for a breakfast roll & a drink in the pub a couple of hundred of yards away. This was okay however we were a little disappointed we weren't offered something more substantial & more inkeeping with what we would have been served if not for the fact that the breakfast wasn't been offered in the B&B. This resulted in us paying an extra £13.90 for the difference in cost between the breakfast roll & beverage & a full breakfast & beverage so when you factor in the £130 nightly rate, its not a cheap stay

A very good location right on the harbour and not far from Donnottar Castle. The owner was very friendly and most helpful on locating places to visit in the area.

The fact that the coffee cups were tiny and the breakfast included was a voucher for the hotel next door for a hot roll and a hot drink cost us an extra 12 pound for a cooked breakfast if we knew before had would have not booked

Bit disappointed with the room from the description given. I wouldn’t really call what we had a sea view as could only see a harbour wall and a couple boats from very small window. Also I wouldn’t describe our room as deluxe as very small room and not sure where the dining area in our room was supposed to be?? Toiletries included? Hmmm a very small shower gel and a very small shampoo but no soap. Not ideal anytime but definitely not in these covid times. Breakfast was supposed to be included however when we arrived we were told we could either have a healthy bag in room or a voucher for roll and cup tea at ship inn. This was worth £5. To be honest I would have preferred a room charge of £10 less for a room only basis. We often visit Stonehaven and have stayed in several lovely places but unfortunately this property fell short of our expectations.

It would have been better to have known in advance that they are not doing breakfast on the premises other than in a continental.box. the breakfast voucher for the ship inn was very limited.

Location is excellent, bed was comfy shower was also very good.

Lack of phone/Internet signal.we were lucky with the parking of our car,but I could see it being an issue.

Rooms are ok if a little small

Effectively no breakfast we were offered a bag off DIY stuff - not appealing or a voucher for a roll and coffee in the inn next door - covid was the excuse Simply unacceptable at £110 per night, every guest house we have stayed in so far whilst touring Scotland has offered a full breakfast Had this have been made clear at time of booking we would have stayed somewhere else

Location was perfect. Could walk where we wanted to go and leave the car parked at front door. Could see all the goings on in the harbour from our seaview window. Close to good eateries. Chairs and table outside to sit and enjoy the weather and views. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

Not having a cooked breakfast on site, due to covid. Vouchers for a bacon/sausage roll at nearby Ship Inn, or a breakfast pack offered instead. Sink in ensuite was rather small and so water seemed to be forever running down the sides when using it. Maybe we were just messy. On arrival we discovered the shower hadn't been turned off properly and had been constantly dripping and splashing, therefore was a puddle on floor which we had to mop up. Not a huge thing but not a good first impression. Owner wasn't on site and didn't respond quickly to phone calls/messages on checkout. We had an appointment to get to so had to leave without seeing her. No major issues really just had to adjust.
