Our family of 9 got together in Sun Valley for the holiday season. Even with 9 adults/young adults, the condo felt spacious and fully equipped. It was stocked with plenty of supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, etc.), and the in-unit washer/dryer helped keep a steady flow of clean towels and washcloths. The unit was clean, the beds were comfy, and the loft was a nice extra space for the teenagers/young adults. We enjoyed the fireplace, and the complex is on the public transit line. If our family ever converges in Sun Valley again, Sun Burst 2739 will be first on our list to check for availability.

Me and my buddies took our annual high school buddies ski trip and stayed at this unit. Sunburst 2739. I’m really glad we stayed there. There were not a ton of reviews on the unit so that made me a bit hesitant but it was well worth it. The place was clean, spacious and had a really good layout. We loved that it had a lot of beds. The 3 twins in the loft were a nice touch. Plenty of parking spaces outside the unit and we also loved the hot tub and sauna at the sunburst pavilion. Also, didn’t have any weird smells or anything. Beds were comfortable. Only downsides were that I wish either alpine lodging or the sunburst community provided pool towels. We only had the ones at the unit that were used for showering. Also, the ice maker in the fridge was a bit loud. Overall though, this place was great. I’d 100% stay there again! And probably will. Also, we got in late upon check in and the after hours check in process was super easy too.

Great experience
Had an amazing time backed up to the golf course. Honestly the only critique was in regards to the pool situation. Online it stated we had access to the heated pool but it turned out we did not. When we went back to the property management to figure it out they did take care of it for our trip. So overall a great experience with one minor bump

This one seems like a total rental, beat it up and keep on renting, while several other units are appointed much better. This unit needs at minimum new carpet and all new mattresses. The kitchen has some issues.. it needs some TLC! Great trip though!

This one seems like a total rental, beat it up and keep on renting, while several other units are appointed much better. This unit needs at minimum new carpet and all new mattresses. With the advancements in technology, it was frustrating to have to go to an office after hours to get keys for a VRBO. We even got locked out and had to make another trip to the office. Most all of the rentals I have stayed at have an ability to open the door with your phone.
This is a very very very old property. It may have been built in the 70’s. Other condos in the Sunburst community have quality heating. This one has heaters from the 70’s where you have to go room by room and turn a knob to determine the heat. True th fully we were either hot or freezing.
No gas fireplace, work burning only.
A lot of power outlets do not work. The whole side of the living room where the TV is lost power the first night. No TV, No lights, nothing. We tried all of the breakers as well as the plugs themselves to no avail. Luckily I had an extension cord in my truck so that we could jimmy rig something.
Lights and plugs in the master bath sink don’t work.
Drawers in the master bedroom are all broke and fall out when you attempt to own them.
The guest bathroom has carpet.
The fridge whines and the ice machine is always clogged.
We opened the window to let some cool air in. Big mistake! That window in the living room is so busted that it required me to get out on the railing and hang over to slam the window shut while someone locked it.
For the price and what we were hoping for, I was simply disappointed.
I have learned by sad experience that renting an from an actual owner is a far better experience than renting from a company that operates a ton of rentals.

We've stayed in this unit before & love it. However, I wish we'd been told that the deck/porch was under construction. We would have asked for another unit. Didn't expect to be awakened at 8:00 am on Friday and Saturday by workers pounding right outside our bedroom door. Super annoying.

Great Elkhorn Condo
This Sunburst condo was very clean and well-appointed and had plenty of space for our recent ski trip. We have stayed in various Elkhorn condos over the past several years, and this was one of our favorites. We especially loved having the Sunburst hot tub after a long day of skiing. The property manager was very responsive both after hours when we had trouble with the WiFi and when the coffee maker broke.

Good place to stay
The condo is nice. I was disappointed by the pool booking process. The property management company should give the pool booking information sooner. We missed booking the pool our first day there because the pool only books one day in advance. Also, the bath products are basic. For the price they should be better. The soap was cheap and they only supplied a shampoo/conditioner combo. They need to have a window covering for the loft area. Our kids were awake super early because one of the windows that faced the sunrise has no curtains or blinds.

We had a great time and really enjoyed the property. It is nicely updated and spacious for our family of 6.
