Small with 12 rooms so quiet most of the time

The Sereni suite I was in was adjacent to the yoga room which made my outdoor area all enclosed and therefore hot. I didn’t use the daybed because it was facing the yoga space and not secluded and staff would spend afternoons in the yoga space cleaning, chatting, sitting around. The other suites had much better outdoor balconies which were private, so if I stayed again I would ask for one of those suites.

The hotel in the middle of town, but as soon as you turn the street to enter into the property it feels like a wonderful mini oasis. The pool is gorgeous, the rooms are beautiful and clean, breakfast is delicious, and the staff are so sweet.

Ubud Aura Retreat Centre is literally several step’s away from Yoga Barn (Note that yoga barn has two entrances, this is the one uphill), which makes it the ideal choice for Yogis! It’s also clean and comfortable. The staff are really friendly and helpful!

Locatie, faciliteiten, ruime kamer en netjes en super vriendelijk personeel.

Ett underbart mindre hotell med fint poolområde och jättetrevlig personal. Vi fick ett toppenrum precis vid poolen, med en egen altan och sköna sittmöbler. På hotellet erbjuds spabehandlingar. Jag och min vuxna dotter fick en gratis fotmassage, underbart! Vi tog varsin massagebehandling av Siska, och vi tyckte båda att det var den bästa massagen någonsin! Rymligt fint rum och badrum. Hotellet ligger precis bredvid Yoga barn vilket vi tyckte var perfekt. Läget är superbra, nära huvudgatan men ändå på en mindre och lugn smågata, nära flera bra restauranter och lunchställen. Bästa japanska restauranten Rayjin ligger max 200 m bort. Bra aircondition på rummet. Uttagsautomater, där man kan ta ut lokalvalutan, och en supermarket max 200 m bort. Kommer jag tillbaka till Ubud är det här jag vill bo! Sååå avkopplande!!

Lovely clean room, robes, free snacks, good bed, good shower and environmentally focused. Breakfast was good with choice of fruits, pastry, chia pudding and then a main course from the set menu. Lovely pool, location is perfect next to Yoga Barn but also right at the bottom of Hanuman and close to Monkey Forrest, you can walk to everything. The staff were absolutely lovely, very friendly and helpful. I will stay again.

Everything! The staff was extremely kind and helpful. I spent my 70th birthday there and the staff gave me a wonderful surprise; making up my bed with flowers and leaves with the text HAPPY BIRTHDAY! They also brought a sweet little cake with one lit candle and told me to make a wish before I blow it out. I couldn´t have had a better birthday! Generally, the services and attitude were always very attentive and nice. Fantastic breakfast!

We kregen de kamer op de bovenste etage en die is enorm groot. Het bed is gigantisch groot en sliep heerlijk. Het hotel is in de steeg richting de Yogabarn en daardoor een perfecte plek om dagelijkse lessen en therapie te doen bij de yogabarn. Er is in het hotel een verbouwing bezig en daarom was het ontbijt op onze etage. Het ontbijt was inclusief de prijs en het was enorm. Het was meer een soort brunch met divers fruit, sap, roerei, toast, porridge, croissant, koffie, Fantastisch. Omdat er een verbouwing gaande was kregen we ter compensatie voor de overlast twee voetmassages van 30 minuten. Ook hadden ze een prima transfer naar de luchthaven geregeld voor ons. Vanaf het hotel kan je goed shoppen en ben je midden in het heerlijke centrum van Ubud.

If I had to say something, it would be the housecleaning noise I heard during one of my massages.

Amazing oasis in the heart of ubud, close to great food The property is beautiful. Rooms were huge and had every thing you'd need. Staff were excellent and helped with anything we needed. Amazing vibes from this place, very peaceful.

The wifi was a bit patchy but that's it. I honestly can't fault this place.

We had an incredible stay at Ubud Aura Retreat. The serene surroundings and peaceful ambiance of the place provided us the perfect escape. Very centrally located as well. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ubud.

Very peaceful, set far back from the loud road, lovely balcony, excellent breakfast.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the grounds were so beautiful. And the breakfast was unbelievable.

Please do not use the laundry service or specify dry in the sun no dryer as a lot of my clothes were damaged. I was compensated but no where near the amount to replace damaged items.

Our air conditioning did not work for our first night, which was uncomfortable - however, was fixed the next day.

Loved the location and the room, absolutely beautiful. The airconditioning was AMAZING and an absolute life saver. The staff was friendly and helpful, they even organized a scooter for us.

The only thing I can potentially comment on was the food and how everyone sat at 1 table which other parties complained about which did make it uncomfortable. The food wasn't bad AT ALL, there could've just been more options.
