Beautiful country house in peaceful pretty location

Helpful staff. Beautiful building and gardens. Lovely pool area, even had a selection of drinks in the honesty bar.

Restaurant food over priced.

Gorgeous, tranquil setting amidst mango and avocado plantations. We were afraid the pool area would be crowded, but it never was. We would love to be back one day.

The facilities are beautiful but some things could be newer: the shower holder was broken and some buttons on the safe did not work properly. But overall, it did not affect our comfort much.

Stayed at this hotel to attend my Son's wedding at the sister hotel La Vinuela. The hotel was absolutely fantastic located in the hills above Velez-Malaga amongst avocado orchards. Staff were polite, very tolerant and supportive of my attempts to speak Spanish and all spoke excellent English. The ambience was perfect with soft jazz playing in the background and a live pianist playing outside the restaurant in the evening. The food was first class, comprising local ingredients and presented in 5 star quality.

No negative comments about this wonderful hotel, Would happily stay here again.

Beautiful property in an amazing setting with stunning views in each direction. Fantastic pool area and great fresh food served daily. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

There is a little airport for single engine planes close by. Occasionally this might disturb the peace. However this did not ruin our stay.

Superb boutique hotel in a beautiful building and setting overlooking citrus trees to Velez Malaga and the sea beyond. Superb outdoor pool - not that we used it as it was April - and the food at dinner and breakfast was of the very highest standard with excellent and inexpensive wines and very helpful and attentive staff. Room 5 has a lovely terrace with views over the gardens. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great location , beautiful gardens , very elegant and private. Swimming pool with fantastic view ( unfortunately was too cold outside to use it ). Very helpful ladies on reception .

Fantastic food available throughout the day. Friendly professional staff from the receptionist to the housekeeping team. A great place to spend Christmas. Breakfast was healthy and relaxed. Lunch spilled over well into the afternoon. The menu was inventive and all the dishes were beautifully cooked and presented. Living near this Hotel means we will definitely come back and dine in the restaurant. A great choice and a great break. A big thank you to all the staff.

Breakfast was amazing. Cant belive we ate it all, but we did. Receptionist was very friendly and efficient.

The only tiny thing we didnt like was that it took a while to get in contact with someone both times we went to eat in the restaurant. We werent sure about their rues, if they had seen us, if we could just sit down or if we should wait to be seated so we ended up just standing around, one time for more than ten minutes. Maybe a little bell would help.
