Freeze doesn’t work well The spa hours were very limited and the schedule was not met.

What a rare find! A beautiful hotel in a gorgeous pictoresque town. Great value for money, very romantic place with restairant in the courtyard and a lovely spa. We couod not ask for more!

It was a great / superb experience staying in this beautiful hotel. Arriving in the city and at hotel means entering a different world which offers relaxation and French hospitality. Flowers and vine branches everywhere with old machinery such as wine presses on display. If you love romantic rooms with old but restored furniture (like we do), however with a modern bathroom it is a MUST to book this hideaway! We also had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant - it was very tasty and the prices were totally fine! Another plus point: As it was my boyfriends birthday i asked if it is possible to have a small cake in the morning ... well it worked out and we both had 2 wonderful tartelets in the morning - THANK YOU! In general the region is very scenic - there are quite a lot of things to do (especially for kids being 6/7+) BUT Bergheim is very sleepy. If you want to have a drink in the evening (especially on Wedndesdays / thursday when the restaurant is closed) it is almost impossible to find something. So get some drinks in advance and take advantage of the 2 beautiful inner courtyards of the hotel.

In one word: superb! Staff was very competent. The studio was cosy, practical and clean. The jacuzzi and pool were a great treat after a long day hiking. The yard of the place is very stylish. A visit to a winery and tasting was included in the price, unfortunately it didn't fit to our hiking program. The hotel is located in a typical and beautiful Alsace village.

The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The location was perfect and the swimming pool/jacuzzi were also great.

The walls were too thin and we could listen to our neighbors. The mattress was uncomfortable.

Very characteristic structure, the food at the restaurant was excellent, the beds comfortable. The room temperature was perfect. Very useful kitchenette when travelling with a toddler.

The bathroom was somehow too narrow, but for a one night stay, it poses no problem.

Very nice village, it worth to visit and stay at least overnight

We took apartment for couple + 2 children. Apartment was large and spacious Shower is very big and can easily shower all children. We also got crib for the baby without any problem. Hotel restaurant also allowed us to takeaway to the room (including drinks) which was also very convenient when traveling with small children. Hotel has LOTS of charm. Bergheim itself is VERY charming. I started mornings walking to the boulangerie smiling and enjoying the silence, peaceful atmosphere and preserved streets. I would definitely recommend Bergheim, and Le Cour du Bailli for peaceful, star based familly vacation in Alsace!

Disclaimer: the below are minors, general experience in Le Cour Du Bailli is excellent. ----------------------------------------- 1. Air conditioning: we were at end of August, while wheather started to cool. Still days got to 30C in afternoon, and room was just too warm in the night (even when outside was cool!). We asked for fans but were told that there were none. Unfortunately there seem to be no solution except installing air conditioning, even in so called cool/northern spots like Alsace. 2. On the other side, when entering the Jacuzzi, water were not warm. When go to Jacuzzi, I expect warm water ~ 38C The Jacuzzi was I think 30-34, meaning it did not feel warm and pampering as it should (only "OK"). Note: this does not contradict the previous comment about room. Rooms were too warm in night, Jacuzzi was not warm enough when I tried it.

The pool was great, though a little warm on a hot day. Parking was very close by. The staff spoke English, which was helpful. It was great to be able to eat dinner and breakfast in the lovely courtyard. Having a kitchenette was useful.

Our room was high up in the attic and was south-facing, so it was extremely hot. A cheap fan would have made all the difference to our ability to sleep and our enjoyment of our stay, but none was available and the staff were not at all apologetic about that. The staff also kept us waiting a long time at check-out with no apology. The staff at dinner were not particularly friendly or competent. There was only a hand-held shower in the bath, which was slippery and difficult to get into and out of. I would not recommend the room to anyone with the slightest mobility issues.

The setting, decoration and ambience were aesthetically pleasing. Free parking in a number of locations with the closest 50m away. The Hotel also have a wine shop with free tastings, highly recommend a vist.
