The location was great and the hotel was very clean and well looked after.

Tea and Coffee were kept on flasks, I prefer to make my own tea (Earl Grey)

I was in a single room which was a fair size and had a desk, wardrobe and drawers - nicely decorated. Bathroom was spotless, shower was great and bed very comfy. Continental breakfast which was included had a decent range of stuff- the pastries were yummy, and it was great to have proper good quality ham! I like that you are not paying for a cooked breakfast unless you want one!

My room was on the 1st floor by the lift, and over the reception area. There was live music in the bistrot on my first night (which is a regular Friday night thing) and I could hear that in my room, and it stopped me being able to get an early night as I had hoped - I'd ask for a room higher up next time! Not a major thing, but the breakfast menu offered fruit salad, but that turned out to be a bowl of tinned grapefruit, a plate of melon (with lots of seeds in) and some whole apples. Would have been nice to have an actual fruit salad. Also maybe have separate tongs for ham and cheese! The shower gel dispenser would be very difficult for anyone without strength in their hands (there was a bar of soap by the basin so that was good)

Stayed here previously and while the stay was OK the hotel looked a little tired but since the refurbishment is much better

Staff very friendly. Room fantastic as lots of space for myself and 3 kids. Food really great too in restaurant. Good location, very happy!

There was no hot water from the shower or tap in the bathroom on the last day. We used the bath which was hot,so not a big issue

The location was good enough for the purpose of my visit

The room was very tired and in need of a refurbishment. The shower didn't drain away very well, and there was that much cylicon around the shower to stop leeks. The mattress was in desperate need of replacement

The bar and brasserie was excellent. Over the course of our stay, we enjoyed breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late night drinks. The staff were brilliant and really made the hotel warm and welcoming.

Laundry facilities would have been handy, but there was a laundromat less than a 10 minute walk away.

lovely view out to sea in enclosed veranda. Room large and very pleasant.

Our bed was directly over the speaker in the entrance foyer. Staff were understanding and turned the volume down but greater awareness that this will always be a problem in our room is needed for future guests.

Unfortunately, the food in the restaurant still isn't up to high, standard, you expect from this venue.

Coffee cup hadn't been checked and there was dust and 2 hairs in the bottom. Sink needed a quick rub over.

Perfect room overlooking the sea

Something very minor, for breakfast would have loved a pot of hot tea on the table with little jug of milk instead of tea made up in plastic jug.

my only problem was it said breakfast included, when we arrived I was told it’s a continental unless we Paid £6ish, for a full English, I think £82 for the room in Feb/Mar should include full English

the shower was a little slow to drain, but the pressure was AMAZING

the shower head was awful spraying water everywhere. alao the car park is so small we asked if there was parking and was told they had not it only held 6 cars
