It was dirty with cold growing in the bedroom and the bathroom

I am a regular here and it is always a frienfly atmosphere. Professional staff. Nice, warm, homely rooms. Clean facilities.

1-Cold 2-Maze Entrance 3-I have to say that I don't really like to leave any bad review but I really can give more than 6 or 7. Firstly my room was top floor and really cold . Entrance was from the Pub or the back. The guy who gave us the key was nice .

The convenience of the location. It was near my brother's flat in Enfield.

The shower could have been better.

Nothing.

Window was open when we arrived. Wouldn't shut. In December not good at all. bus terminal outside noisy. Bed disgusting. soild. lumpy very old. Bathroom mouldy with disgusting shower curtain. Nothing like the pictures. If we arrive earlier when the reception was there we would not have stayed.

Nothing , the cleaner was very nice.

The Stag is in a great location to a high street full of shops. a shopping centre a 5 minute walk to the overground. The facilities in the hotel were a little outdated but for a two night stay they met our needs. The bar area was lovely. Staff were lovely and helped with anything we may have needed.

The hotel although was really tidy and looked like it had been cleaned if you were really picky then you may not have liked it. Certain areas may have need extra attention such as the shower head and shower tray. Again for our two night stay it didn’t bother us so much but if we were to stay longer it may have.

Everything was closed for renovations and poor attentiveness to guests.

Bar was closed for refurbishment f9r which we were not advised. Booked e n suite but thermostat broken and no plug in sink so had to use adjacent bathroom anyway. Room was dirty and dusty, only 1 teabag on tea tray. Very little storage for clothes...window was broken but found the handle in a drawer !!!!.....and lastly one one pillow on each bed and no one around to complain to

Full renovation taking place which was NOT specified. Therefore no facilities for food etc. room was very cramped and bed extremely uncomfortable. Shared facilities which I wrongly assumed would be for a couple of rooms was for quite a number of rooms. Very noisy from fellow guests just having to go to the toilet. Bathroom facilities on top floor - a floor away from a number of bedrooms. Very overpriced for what you get. Never again

Looked ok in the pictures on booking. Greeting on arrival was friendly and helpful. Sheets and towels clean, white and fluffy.

Other than the above, possibly the worst room I've stayed in for quite some time. The room had a cheesy / musty smell. The carpet and paintwork felt dirty and badly done. Part of the ligthswitch was missing/broken. Some lights bulbs blown. Drawers broken. Double glazing broken and sitting in corner of room. Not possible to close the venetian blinds as other double glazing panes wouldn't open to reach the blind controls. Private bathroom was inconveniently up one floor and some stairs. To top it off the pub below (my intended evening hangout after work) was unexpectedly closed for a refurb
