Very central location in town, short walk to everything of interest, and with a decent view of the town from my room. Easy parking for my motorbike on the street outside (therefore I had no need to use their garage).

My room was not refurbished like the one in the picture, and was a little tired. I was not able to attract the attention of a member of staff in the morning for a coffee, which was a little disappointing.

The manager who helped me there was superb. Very friendly, and went twice out of her way to help me with issues such as a double booking (fault on Booking.com's side) as well as helping during the train strike in France. It is also very centrally located, hard to beat the location. Breakfasts are also good value.

Older people should know there is no elevator, so if physical strength might be a problem, travel with a younger strong man to carry your luggage 😉

Shortly after leaving the hotel they contacted us by telephone to inform us that we had taken a hotel binder (a small booklet with general information) from the room. They would draw €50 from our credit card till the binder was returned. They later informed us that the amount instead would be €100. We are convinced that there never was a hotel binder in the room and we have certainly not taken it with us. Logis Hôtel des Messageries have indeed drawn an additional €100 from the credit card we used to pay for the stay. We have reported the attempted fraud to our bank and are now awaiting the outcome.

excellent location, wonderful staff, room was wonderful with a lounge on the floor and water station. breakfast was very nice. nice outdoor patio, and easy free street parking.

Marie Aude at the front desk was delightful: generous, helpful and professional with excellent advice.

The heritage listing means that air conditioning cannot be incorporated. They do an excellent job of managing this with alternatives but it was hot in August.

Nice hotel in interest little town, on high street near to cafes and shops, walkable to all main sights. Staff very helpful. Storage for bikes, room good with separate shared lounge

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed and garage not sécu due to problems with firs, for which they apologised.

The hotel had no bar and the garden was not in use as we had hoped for. And the reason why we booked the hotel in the first place.

Excellent stay! The rooms are great, and the owner is lovely and helpful with tips. Superb location a very short walk from everything in Arbois.

The only way it could be better is with an A/C in the room, but the fan did well to keep us cool. Warning for older guests - dragging luggage up the stairs is tough!

The proprietor was kind and helpful the room was large and had great ventilation for the summer heat the room and the facilities were very up to date. The town itself is amazing

Beautiful old house, very kind staff/owners living in the house to. We got even an upgrade on arrival because we stayed a few more days than the average guest. The Hotel is perfectly located for both, discovering the city and to start and plan your hiking trails. Some very good restaurants and wineries just in walking distance.
