Separate living room and balcony

We arrived early and the property was ready, so we could move in straight away. The size of the property was the perfect size for 2 plus a small dog. There is a comfortable sofa and bed, and the view is lovely. The whirlpool bath was a nice bonus after a cold and wet day of walking (especially as the shared hot tub is not in use during the winter). A real benefit is having control of the heating so when cold you could boost it, plus there was hot water on tap. The property has all the appliances you need for a self-catering break. Only a 30-40 minute walk into town.
The property has been well used and it shows in the wear and tear of the rooms, furnishings and appliances. The radiator in the bathroom leaked and the lounge fire remote control was missing. When I searched under the sofa cushions (just in case the remote had been lost within the sofa), these hadnt been hoovered in a while. We were there when the site was quiet, but we could hear people at the back of us the one night someone did stay - we could hear noise well into the night.

The location,
Tatty comes to mind. Very dated and not very good quality fixtures and fittings. Everywhere looked as if it needed a good thorough clean. Under sofa cushions were loads of crumbs and dirt cobwebs everywhere. Maintenance on the property was sadly lacking it's such a shame as with some TLC could be a lovely holiday home.

The property was beautiful, and clean, but , the way it’s advertised with pool and hot tub was disappointing when getting there realising it was all shared so we didn’t get to use them facilities.

The cottage was ideal for 2. It was comfortably furnished.
The bedroom was light and airy and the balcony was a bonus, we used it every morning. The pool and jacuzzi, both were clean and really warm.
The ground floor of the cottage was gloomy and cold. The bathroom needed updating. There were lots of cobwebs on the bedroom ceiling. The area around the cottages could do with some soft landscaping, it felt very stark and industrial. The walk into town took about 45 mins. The footpath was very steep on the return journey! There were no cushions for the balcony furniture. There were no hand towels, however when we asked for some, we were given bath towels.

Poor cleanliness. Mirror cleaned so poorly I had to scrub it to clean. Windows not much better. Keys were left in door lock. Noone met me or was around to see if there was a problem.

Generally quiet and private, there were people partying next door but wasnt audible with the thick stone walls (so no problems with that), good that pets were alllowed. Felt like living in a little house rather than a hotel. Generally tidy but carpets were a bit dirty presumably from people wearing shoes inside. Bathroom was clean but wirlpool bath sprayed water all over the place, so kept away from it. Staff were pretty hands-off but no problem with that.
The road to town has no pavement for the first few hundred meters so felt really dangerous walking into town, even though it is a fairly short walk, it is possible but was scary. The shared pool / hottub wasn't accessible because other guests were using it for the duration of our stay. Local shops made inaccessible without a car at night by the lack of pavement / danger of going on the road, but Dileveroo was able to find us.

Quiet location, wonderful views from balcony, nice and Cosy, excellent heating when it turned chilly. All facilities needed were provided for cooking, shower over bath was excellent, nice clean property and any queries were answered. Staff friendly and welcoming.
Nothing to say really. There was a pool and hot tub but it was just not the weather on this occasion. If being really picky property is very nice and comfortable but could do with a couple of fixtures looking at such as kitchen light, loose door handle in bathroom but didn’t detract from us enjoying the property.

Very clean and adequately equipped. Comfortable and warm, balcony is lovely in the mornings but a bit chilly this time of year for the evenings. Would love to come back in high summer. Very good stay, well worth the price.

The apartment is beautiful, a really charming place with lots of character. The bath is an excellent feature and made my stay very relaxing. The kitchen if full stocked with everything for a self catered stay and the living area is very cosy. I would have liked to use the balcony but the weather was a little miserable this time, but it's another lovely extra with a very nice view. The apartment was spotless on my arrival, completely exceeded my expectations.
If I was to be really picky, a smaller towel provided for the bathroom, as a hand towel/hair towel. Also a sponge for washing up. The bedroom has limited plug sockets but didn't bother me much at all, and the Wifi connection was temperamental at times but I would expect that in Wales.

Cleaner. However, we were the first visitors after lockdown. There were spider webs in the bedroom and the dishwasher had stagnant water in it.
