Venue was unbelievable. Service when checking in was great. Room fantastic. just all round great experience.
I felt the dining options to be limited initially .... either top tier restuarants or low end pub food at the Deer inn.
However once I spoke to the reception team it was made clear that there is a bar menu ... perhaps this could be advertised better??

The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble, the building, grounds and rooms were beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean.
Nothing. My only small piece of advice to the hotel is that it would be really beneficial if all the hotel activities etc were left in the room or put on the TV with all the gallery of pictures. I know receptionist staff run through options when you check in but after a long journey you only take in a small percentage of the information. I like to peruse what they offer when I have settled in.

the standards of hotel were poor overall poor quality robes tbh should have been thrown out and dirty grouting in shower mould didn’t look good

Beautiful hotel, very clean and well maintained, nice breakfast. Dinner and drinks are hugely overpriced, average food quality.
We booked half board. It was not clear when we booked or when we checked in as to what was included. You would expect much better quality food for the amount charged. On check out, we were charged for dinner due to a "computer glitch"

Check in/out was very easy and staff were friendly
The gym was well equipped for a hotel gym
The Spa access which is included with your booking doesn’t include very much, just the pool and sauna. The ‘rooftop experience’ is really what you want and that’s an additional £60pp/per 2hours which was a huge surprise to us. If you’re going for the Spa you’re better off staying in a Travelodge and doing a Day Spa access.
The beds were very hard and general furnishings tired and need of a refresh.
A staff member walked into our room, without knocking!

I had a completely disturbed sleep on the first night, with a combination of noise form the corridor, noise form the interconnecting door, and worst of all, light pollution form the ac unit, gap under the room entrance door and newly fitted lights outside the room, all of which stopped me having any significant sleep on the first night. The staff were excellent and responded positively, and changed my room. Unfortunately, one of the three nights I stayed there was heavily disrupted
