A gem of a B&B in a beautiful village location. Every little detail was thought of, from wonderful tea and coffee making facilites in the room and gorgeous bathroom toiletries. 10 minutes walk into the centre of Grasmere and all the fabulous cafes and places to eat and browse. Walks on the doorstop. Immaculately clean and beautiful bedroom - 5 start standard accommodation. Our host was so friendly and helpful and we had wonderful breakfasts too. We will be back :)

What’s not to like? Jacky has thought of every possibility caring for her guests. Excellent breakfasts to order, comfortable room, beautifully decorated, amazing views. And situated in our now-favorite village in England.

The property was very clean and well furnished with attention to detail. The location was great, only a few minutes walk from the village. Parking was available at the property. Breakfast was excellent - we could have as little or as much as we wanted. Jacky, our host, was charming and informative.

Perfect, peaceful location, yet handy for the village and buses, if required. Very clean and well equipped, with a lovely friendly and helpful host. we would definitely stay at Raise View again.

Jacky is a wonderful host and gave us really good suggestions of places to visit and dinner places around Grasmere. We stayed at the silver how room which was very comfortable room with beautiful views. Love the tranquil feel during our stay there. Breakfast was done excellently! Totally enjoyed our time there!

Very comfortable room, bed, quiet, iconic view, private, great sleep, lovely garden to sit out, close to tourist part of village but not in it, excellent breakast, delightful relaxed hostess, luxurious but not over the top, attention to detail.

It was uncommonly warm while we were there so the ability to open windows more would have been helpful. Fridge fan runs all the time.

The breakfast was fantastic, good range and liked that you could easily select what you would like. The view from the room was lovely and we could make ourselves a great drink in the room.

I need to check out where the room was prior to booking as my mum found it difficult getting to the top floor. Access to a down stairs toilet would have helped her, but we would both like to stay again, just on the first floor next time.

Grasmere is a a town that is central in Lake District and really convenient to get to many places and is a charming little town by itself and the property is situated at a convenient but not too bustling spot. I also liked the effort that was put in to use teas and coffees from Lake District producers and also the Herdy Sheep Teaware, really elevates the experience!

Room was at the most top floor so there was a bit of difficulty with the luggage - but no big issue. Was also expecting 10/10 breakfast from the reviews but i think the cook has since left and while the breakfast was fresh, taste wise it is a little disappointing.
