The location is excellent!!! In an upscale neighbourhood and walking distance to Surfside beach (quiet beach) and to downtown. There’s a supermarket around the corner and several eateries. I will definitely stay again. We were in Apartment 11 (it could be a little more updated but this is not my priority), the beds were very comfortable and the apartment itself is spacious with a small veranda at the front.

We were happy and comfortable and not in the apartment much. TV instructions would be helpful as we could not get it to work.

The apartments are very basic but a lot of space and adequate. A good price. They also are clean and the local people are courteous

Finding the place and checking in is a significant problem. They don't let you know which units you're in or where the keys are until you arrive. Unfortunately there is no one to meet you and if you don't have a working phone it becomes very difficult to contact them and get into your unit. Suggest you make very clear prior arrangements to getting into your property before you arrive. Also I booked a king unit and they wound up giving me a unit with two queen beds. They claim this was an upgrade but I would have preferred the single King unit. There are also other problems with their advertisement of the property. For instance they show in the pictures a large refrigerator in the kitchen in the apartment but the refrigerator they gave me was actually very small. They would not correct that. They also advertise the unit as having a washer and dryer on the premises and a barbecue grill. Neither of these are provided on the property. Aside from that the units are comfortable quiet for the most part and relaxing.

The pictures are rather outdated. We expected a much nicer place. We would not have booked it if we knew how the bathroom and kitchen area really looks like. The apartment is up for renovation.

This place had exceeded our expectations. Yes, it's simple, but it's very spacious, really clean and has all the necessities for budget-conscious travellers. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The location is great too, if you have a car or don't mind a short walk to the downtown core. The beach with a couple bars is just down the road. It's a hidden gem, despite a few negative reviews. It's a great value if you don't mind slightly outdated interior and a lack of luxury finishes. If those things really matter to you, there are a lot of fancy resorts with a much heftier pricetag.

The apartment is close to the beach. One bathroom bad warm water which was nice. There was a tea cooker and some basic cooking ingredients such as salt and pepper. The apartment was very large. Internet was good.

The apartment is very basic. The equipment very old and partly broken. The shower holder of the shower head was broken, the knives weren’t sharp at all and the lid of the water cooker was broken too. On the first day some slim like substance was hanging on the kitchen tap which came back after removing a few days later. At arrival we had to call the host since no email was sent on how to check in. It was self check in. Luckily we had locals with us because otherwise we would have paid a lot for calling. We

Check in was very easy. I had everything I needed. WiFi was blazing fast. AC was ice cold (easily adjusted as well)

The place was very silent (except for the early morning gym classes of the next door school one day), it had air conditioning and a fan that made the stay more comfortable.

When we arrived, the shower was clogged and it flooded, we had to buy a product and applied for it to be OK, they send a maid to help clean the next day, though. The kitchen was very well equipped, but everything was old and some of the machines were not in their best shape. There were not a lot of dishes and cutlery in our opinion, but it suited us.

Collection of the keys could have been handled differently. The taxi driver almost missed the place had it not been for me seeing it. The mosquitoes outside. Could not relax and have bfast outside for very long.

If you are looking for an affordable appartement in Aruba, Pega Pega is a great choice. It is simple and not modern or fancy but clean and spacious. We stayed for 3 weeks and had an appartement with a living room area (which we would recommend, what we saw of the studio apparments they were much smaller). There is refular cleaning, good airconditioning, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare food. The locations is very convenient since you're close to the airport and in "the middle" of the island's coast side. You can easily drive to all beaches north or south from here. Overall, absolutely recommended!

The only small point of improvement is the checkin process. The appartements do not have a reception so make sure you agree on the process upfront.

The only positive thing were clean bedsheets and towels. Good wifi connection.

The apartment was dirty, all was dusty and old, not even similar to the pictures on Booking.. Before our check in the apartment was not clean and well prepared. There were a lot of worms in the kitchen. On the sink in the bathroom was mold, the shower was terrible. When we arrived we could not contact with the owner. There was not instruction how to check in-there is no reception desk.

It was good for the night. Ceiling cracking in bedroom and kitchen could be updated, but it was all we needed for the night 🙂

Not enough pillows!!! Mosquitos were bad outside.
