Location
It was dirty, the bed sheets had holes and stains on them, the room was smelly and dirty.

Central location, en-suite bathroom, fridge, tea-making facilities and toaster, free parking outside.
Outdated but cozy, liked it enough
No reception and check-in, had to call a number to get our room, it was sent with a door code through sms, very inconvenient when you are standing at the door with all your luggage. Humble question: why couldn’t it be sent to us through booking.com app prior to our arrival?!
No lift, cleanliness was a question (hair in shower, dust on surfaces), small bathroom (I’m 70 kg, hardly matched the facility)

Very clean had all amenities and things that was needed
Radiator in living room was not working we know the heating was on as bedroom Radiator worked fine
Door handle fell off door meaning it was harder to get into bedroom due to my fibromyalgia meaning my partner had to open door constantly

Bed was super comfy- the staff I interacted with were both pleasant and friendly. Other residents and patrons were nice; did have some noise from another room but walls thick enough that generally was not an issue (was not worth reporting, just put TV on and fine). Loved that pets are allowed as I got to meet some really cute dogs!
Room with En Suite was small but perfectly formed and location is superb. For the price- honestly exceptional. No complaints at all.
There was no soap in the soap dispenser - easy fix as they provide shower stuff just used the body wash.
There was some noise from other resident(s) but did hear staff mention they had already addressed this with them the next day. Window was open when I arrived which I didn't notice at first.
Did also unfortunately catch the day they test their fire alarms- but not anyone's fault and just means they are working properly!

The property isn’t a hotel at all , the person who is the owner or the receptionist didn’t great us just rung to give us a code for the door !!
When we arrived the code was given and then we went into our room there was damp in the room and the bed linen was ripped

Few minutes from the beach, sealife and local pubs! Dog friendly hotel, operates self-service check in. Big room, comfy bed and a small fridge to store the basics for breakfast or tea.
We were on third floor and bathroom and shower rooms were on 1st floor

Directly across from beach.
Size/quality of room Excellent;
Double bed, two sofas, large bay window.
Amenities in room Excellent;
Kettle, fridge, toaster, cutlery & crockery provided. Large TV. Free WiFi.
Parking accessibility Excellent;
Free paying directly outside hotel.
Staff very polite, helpful & courteous.
Room was on ground floor adjacent to the front door. Was noisy/annoying when other guests let the entrance door slam shut at night.
Room directly above had a dog. Could hear when running across the floor, barking/whining.

It was in a lovely location
It was not a hotel, it was a room. There was noone to meet us. We had to phone up for a code to gain entry. In my opinion the fridge was dangerous we had to unplug it because it sounded like a cement mixer. And we were scared it would set on fire. The Bay window was falling apart, and broken. The wind was blowing the curtains There was no heating, To be honest the only thing that was missing was Rigsby from Rising Damp

It close to the local beach , where you can spend nice romantic time with your other half.
Toilets are very small so does shower , if you bigger person you might struggle to get in the toilet.

I loved the fact this was over the road from beach,close to everything you need..the hotel is lovely too great value for money
Need to pay more attention to detail as this would just make this 100% awesome..still loved my time here
2.0 / 5.0
location great, room was comfortable well decorated and well appointed
on arrival the entrance is very off putting - more like an HMO/ bedsit land than a hotel. the bathroom had hairs in it, and tea/ coffee stains down the door and bedside furniture.
Also, the venue is not VAT registered (this is not identified on booking) and the owner does not produce invoices as she believes this to be the responsibility on BOOKING.COM - the booking.com receipt says its not an invoice as this should come from the hotel!!

The top flat was basically a 2 bedroom apartment, great value!
There was work being done during my stay and a weird smell. I will still stay there again

close to the beach, shops and attractions
This is not a hotel more of a cheap motel. I don't know how it passed the sanepid but the conditions are terrible. Old and dirty carpets, cracked ceiling, dirty sheets. There was a sink in the room with water backing up loudly. Fridge destroyed as well as troster and kettle. The radiators were on all the time and it was very hot. The toilet and shower were 2 floors below the room. And they weren't well cared for. Well, in a word, drama, I will never stay there again and I also do not recommend it to others.

staff were lovely however you could smell mould instantly upon going in. the bedroom when we were sleeping myself and my partner could both feel our lungs burning as we breathed in so moved into the front room! we had our 2 year old daughter with us which outraged me that she had been exposed to such a disgusting place to sleep.
and the noise when people were walking above was very loud. other than that it was fine.
although I definitely do not recommend to any families or couples to stay here until that room is gutted cleaned and re done regardless of the age of it.
that is not safe and I’m very sure not legal to be in such a bad condition!
above statement will accommodate this question.

This was a budget room where you get what you basically pay for it
The room could do with a bit of colour. This is just my personal opinion, and unfortunately, I didn't have a very comfortable night as I woke up with a bad back
2.0 / 5.0
Price and location, bed comfy.
For a 'deuluxe' room was very basic, very run down premises, no need to advertise it has old, 'victorian' plumbing in the small bathroom, I have stayed in plenty of victorian hotels without any notifications saying it's 'old,' doesn't make sense to me, if it's that old why not get it all replaced? Creaky all round could hear other people through thin walls, bathroom door very creaky very annoying, and tiny sink taps, well you have a look, awful.
No staff on site very strange, very basic key pad button codes to allow entry, in todays world this is something no good to be honest, and only cash acceptable, this is 1989.
