Everthing was very neat and clean. And the stay included my own fridge and microwave, which i thought was a very good idea

Mention that you will be staying in a normal house with rooms rented out. When i first arrived at the address i paniced because i didn't know the top floor was where the rooms were rented out, and it was safe. I thought that i just booked a room in someone's personal house.

nothing, property was disgusting and I have already contacted support, I never received a follow up call.

I have taken over 50 photos of the room and property and the pure disgusting uncleanliness of the entire premises. we could not stay here, I left after 30 minutes

The room was clean and comfortable and the price was great.

As a country dweller, I am accustomed to having windows open and not having central heating with the noise of the air through the ceiling register turning on and off all night.

Location is quiet and peasant. Property is good.

It was nice and quiet, l could come and go as l pleased. Very secure.

The host came to give us access in the night when the code he provided didn’t work so we didn’t have to wait.

Firstly, the code provided didn’t work so we had to call the number in the booking confirmation however, the owner came in a minute so that was alright but if he wasn’t around, it was past 11 in the night and would have been highly inconvenient. Secondly, the owner walked us to the room upstairs and came inside the room with us which was not needed at all, which made us extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. We had to lock the door from inside as soon as he left. Third thing was he took a photo of my friend’s driver licence and wasn’t ready to delete it. When you book via booking.com, you’d assume that the verification should come directly via the app’s profile. There isn’t any explicit requirement to provide additional ID check. The picture could have been used for identity theft, etc.. so we had to spent a good few minutes to request him to delete the photo from his phone. it was a very heated discussion and made us even more uncomfortable. The toilet seat had marks, the hand shower was broken and there wasn’t much water coming out to take a shower. There were no toiletries except for a hand wash. Towels were stinking. Bedding was unclean and the pillows were a joke. The sheets were unclean and didn’t seem to have been washed. The room was unclean. When I asked about the aircon, he gave me a portable standing fan saying he didn’t want to switch the aircon on as it makes a lot of “noise” when clearly the ad said the air con was available. We had a very early flight the next morning so didn’t spent more than 5-6 hours in the room and were extremely glad to leave it as soon as our pick up car arrived in the morning.

No top sheet, doonan scungy and pillows left a lot to be desired. And TV reception crappy. I was upstairs, but I didn't request no stairs, didn't realize there could have been. So my fault there.
