I liked the beach opposite the hotel.

There were a lot of creepy crawlies in the room, it was very uncomfortable.

Very nice staff and great food, especially red tuna with vanilla sauce. The room was very quiet. Beautiful beach close the hotel. It was a very nice stay :)

Towels were not clean enough - they had spots of dirt. Loud small lizzards in the room but we were able to go to sleep. The toilet seat was broken.

location was good as we were scuba diving with Crystal Divers round the corner.

The place is very quiet, the staff is nice and rooms are clean. Maybe the breakfast could be better but we have no complain at all. We spent there only 2 night and the value of the price is good for what they offer. We haven't try the restaurant (dinner or lunch) so we can't say anything. Thank you everybody for our relaxing time in Mauritius.

The location of the guest house is great and as advertised. There are a few beautiful beaches very close to the location; they are, however, mostly private. You can still spend your day there, just something to be aware of. Additionally, La Cambuse Public Beach is close and also nice. The exterior space of the guest house is appealing. In addition, the guest house offers free parking and free beach towels, which is appreciated.

The biggest problem with the guest house is the atmosphere and how guests are treated. We stayed for two weeks and did not once feel welcome. If you are not speaking French, you feel like a secondary guest. We had staff turning their back on us when we wanted to exchange beach towels every other day and staff roll their eyes when they approached us. In general, the atmosphere was far from professional, also due to the director Ms Bellefroid. The director talked to every French-speaking guest; she did not once come to us during breakfast, despite us being the longest staying guests during our stay. Even worse, on some days she had acquaintances staying at the guest house, which led her to being extremely unprofessional. Next to loudly ordering her staff around and talking about them badly in front of the guests having breakfast, she responded to my partner asking for a different kind of yoghurt that "this is what we serve and that's it" in an extremely rude manner (btw. just because someone does not speak French, they still might be able to understand it ;)). I have stayed in many hotels due to travelling a lot for work, but I have never experienced some kind of show like the one of the director during breakfast. Anyway: The breakfast quality is all right, the amount of breakfast is meagre for European standards as has been mentioned by other guests. You can choose either eggs or small crepes but not both (quality is good). In addition, each guest receives a tiny (homemade) bread and a small amount of fruit. Sometimes you get a "cake of the day", which is also remarkably small. We would have loved to have eggs for breakfast and crepes and more fruits. This breakfast felt like the bare minimum they had to provide. The wifi signal in the room is often bad, as mentioned by the hotel. This feels like it could be an easy fix to provide more service to the guests.

I loved how nice the staffs were, I loved the architecture of the place and how well maintained and neat the place was.

the place has somewhat of a mosquito and insects problem. I think if they do fumigate from time to time it will help.

Fair room and breakfast, good location if you want to have a base in the north. Pool looked nice as well but the weather didn’t allow us to use it

Quite basic, small and dull room with no “personal” touch. Bathroom was as big as the room itself. We also had ants in the room

Cozy and quiet hotel near beautiful beaches. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel offers a large number of trips, car or scooter rental. The rooms are cleaned every day. Pleasant sitting by the pool and bar. Tasty dishes from the À la carte menu. Possibility of massages directly in the hotel. Free parking and wifi.

For breakfast, you can choose from only three options that they prepare for you (it always includes extra yogurt, fruit, juice, jam, butter, pastries). Although the breakfast is very satisfying, the option of a smaller buffet would clearly be a better choice (after a week these three options are very repetitive). As the hotel already mentions, the wifi signal is weak in the rooms. Some sort of mosquito net to ventilate the room at night would be greatly appreciated. Mosquitoes buzzing in my ear all night. (i am not fan of AC) Otherwise great experience! :)

The place is pretty and and seems like some renovation was done there. You can enjoy your time at the swimming pool or go to the "private" beach across the road.

Breakfast is okay but could be better. Also there were not many cafes around but we had a car so no problems with that.
