The staff were friendly, the river view was beautiful and relaxing

It's an older hotel. The amenities in the bathroom were free HOWEVER oddly enough, I am extremely allergic to anything orange and they were citrus/orange based. So not only could my family not use them the WHOLE hotel smelled like oranges! Thankfully I didn't need to use my Epi-Pen but another 'flavor' should be chosen as this is a common allergy.

Breakfast was enough. Coffee was excellent. Love the river view from our room. Will miss the river. There are trout in this river.

Nothing. Hotel was very quiet and secluded in a nice area.

by the riverfront. so lovely and the walk into quaint village, wonderful smokehouse grill. the pool was nice and the way the lounges were next to eating area. the staff were helpful and friendly. the breakfasts were great with variety and were tasty.

the noisy aircon which couldn’t be turned down much. the windows could open a bit so that would have been better to use. the use of non biodegradable cutlery and plates. no recycling of food waste. the road by the river was used by noisy trucks with air brakes. this wouldn’t be allowed in Europe near a hotel or Nz. It is a pity for the hotel’s s ambience as the traffic noise can get high. I would complain to some agencies about the use of that road by those vehicles.
