Excellent comfy rooms Great free bus service to Konstance Fabulous breakfast and staff very good

The room was clean, it's an interesting place to stay at.

The toilet had a bad smell even tho it was clean like a smell of drainage. The wifi was extremely bad because no call can be placed using the WiFi neither a video nor a voice call and even the VPN from my workplace was warning me that the internet was bad.

In the afternoon/night ot was a bit too loud, and the kids couldn't fall asleep that well.

A short bus ride from Konstanz gets you to Dettingen. There are plenty of buses and the hotel gives you a free bus pass, although you don't know this till you get there, by which time you've probably already bought one. The room was fine, not much character, had TV but no access to English programs such as sky news. Clean and comfortable.

When I arrived the hotel door was locked. It said to ring the bell but there was no bell. I had to keep banging on the door. Eventually someone noticed me. It felt as if they had no idea they had a hotel guest coming; they were very focussed on the restaurant side of things. If the restaurant hadn't been opening that evening, there might have been no one around. How welcoming is that? Not.

Great stopover on my bike trip to, and around Lake Konstanz. The check in was very smooth (just ring the bell), and they were very accommodating - allowing me to take my precious bike into the room with me. They even reserved me a spot for dinner at the neighbouring restaurant, very helpful!

Basic seating in bedroom, shared bathroom, going between properties for check-in and breakfast. Noisy on cross roads and parking limited. Shortened holiday by one day but no refund which we understand but the hotel could have used discretion. Parking limited

The room itself and the bathroom were quite clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. Everything, besides the noise, was good.

Sadly, sound isolations is very bad... The whole night we were hearing conversations of other people and opening/closing doors was exceptionally loud.
