Pas d'ascenceur Arrivés tard. Pas de personnel d'accueil mais une procédure bien expliquée dans un message et efficace Manque de clarté dans les explications du site Booking ( ou mauvaise lecture ?) : - j'avais cru que le petit-déjeuner était compris. Il a fallu le régler sur place - je n'avais pas vu qu'il n'y avait pas d'ascenceur Pas de Parking. Nous avons eu la chance de trouver une place dans la rue, à proximité

La présentation de Booking. Une photo de l'hôtel vu de l'extérieur. Peut-être existe-t-elle et ne l'ai-je pas vue ?

Lit confortable, linge neuf et très propre, oreillers neuf et confortables. Fenêtre sortait dans la cour, nuit très calme.

Rien à noter. Impression très positive pour un prix modeste.

Hotel chaleureux et personnel tres agréable. Parking gratuit le dimanche devant l’hôtel.

When we booked the hotel we did not see that the reception closed at 19:00, the hotel sent us a message, however we were riding our motorcycles & did not see the message. When we arrived we pressed the door bell several time & nobody came we kept on trying the bell & knocking on the door and after about 15/20 minutes a woman came and let us in. She was very pleasant to start with, while we removed all our luggage from our motorcycles and we left them in the lobby while we were allocated a room. The receptionist had started talking to African gentleman while we getting our luggage off the bikes, which took us about 15 minutes after we we very hot and sweating I asked for our key to the room and said abruptly can you wait I’m talking wait over there, and she carried on talking I went and asked again abruptly and she started calling me names and said I will chuck you out on the street in French & broken English. She eventually gave us our key and we went to our room. We wanted to book breakfast but dare not ask after her outburst and we worried she might do something to our bikes. We left early the next morning and she did not speak to us. This woman lived on the premises & it shouldn’t have been a problem to let us in and not keep us waiting in the first place, we had been on the road for 10hrs in 29c and all we wanted was a room for night with no hassle.

great location nearby city center - gardens (park), train station and car parking ;-) perfect for one or two nights

hm, breakfast coffee was not that good… but more a minor topic

It was very noisy we couldn't really sleep

The room although small was very clean and cosy, and the bathroom although tiny, had a very good shower. It was very close to the train station, and an easy walk into Troyes. Breakfast was ok, there was the usual choice of cereals, yoghurts, croissants, juice etc and a choice of tea or coffee, although there was only a very small amount of milk on the first day and none at all on the second day. Not an issue for us, but there is no lift.

On arrival we had to put a code into the keypad on the door, and then locate a box with the key to our room and use another code to get into it, this was 7pm n the evening. The entrance hall was in darkness when we got there. Our room (no.24) was next to the laundry, and the washing machine was on at 10 o'clock both nights that we were there, no problem until it got on to its spin cycle!
