Great location in the heart of the blue mountains. Peaceful and cosy cottage just what you need to get away from the city. Host very good communication, super clean place with all the comforts to stay warm including a great open fireplace! Good pub near by. Would reccomend!

Wonderful petite cottage just right for a lovely relaxing escape. Our fur baby loved it the most I think taking full advantage of the safe expansive gardens and the toasty warm nights in front of the roaring log fire. Highly recommended

Beautifully presented, well equipped cottage retreat, lovely gardens with emerging bulbs. Able to make a day trip to spectacular Mayfield Gardens. Really enjoyed our getaway at Rydal Cottage.

Carol’s place was great! The cottage was super cosy especially with the fireplace. Our dog loved exploring the big garden and it was great knowing the whole area was secure for him to zoom around. Will definitely be back for our next trip to the mountains!

Such a charming property and great host. Everything you’d expect from the listing is what we got. This property made me consider country living that’s how nice it is. Definitely recommend for a couples retreat. FYI the internet is NBN satellite so don’t try to do too much with it but that’s not the property’s fault. 10/10!

The cottage was perfect for a few days away to relax. It had everything you would need. The garden was fantastic for our 2 dogs to explore. The cottage was clean and tidy in a quiet location to really relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you need a few days to recharge this is the place to go. We will be back as we have stayed previously and thoroughly enjoyed the serenity of Rydal.

Rydal cottage is the perfect little getaway. Loved the cozy cottage and the furbabies loved running around the beautiful well maintained gardens. We will be back.

We had a great time, the grounds are beautiful with lots of little gardens and different places to sit. Fully fenced, even for small doggo’s, our cavoodle was well contained. Perfect place to relax! The cottage was cute, cozy, nicely renovated and very clean. Carol is an attentive host, we had an issue gaining access to a wood shed, and she was very prompt in replying and sorting it out for us. We will be back!

Relaxing

Stunning location and property that exceeds all expectations.

The cottage was adorable and the gardens just magical. So much thought and detail put into the cottage with a luxurious feel too it. We lacked for nothing except tissue paper which had run out and there was no replacement.

This was our second stay at Rydal Cottage and it was absolutely beautiful again. The cottage is so comfortable, clean and cosy and our little dogs love to explore the beautiful garden which was blooming with daffodils

Loved this beautiful little cottage, with everything one could every need. Beautiful gardens to roam around in. Comfy bed, lush bathroom, cool kitchen and a lounge room with a fireplace. We absolutely loved our stay. Perfect escape from the city! They had everything you could need and the cottage was extremely cosy. Lots of fun board games and the gardens were amazing!!

This gorgeous cottage in the village of Rydal is the perfect place for a lovely weekend getaway for a couple. The cottage is cosy and welcoming with a fireplace and underfloor heating, which is great for a winter evening in front of the fire. The garden is beautiful all year round. We absolutely love staying at Rydal Cottage.

Fabulous holiday

From our arrival to our departure we were delighted with the cottage. Such a wonderful ambience ...quietly elegantly country decor and furnishings with a lovely vintage touch. Every appliance that we could could possibly want and the heated floor in the bathroom was just delicious. Ample heating choices but It was so delightful to come "home after our exploring of the area and light the fire and enjoy the cosiness. We had such a delightful visit. Thank you so much.

Always greatest stay in Rydal

This property surpassed our expectations, the cottage was warm and cosy and beautifully decorated, it was very well appointed in addition. The gardens were a delight and our kelpie Ellie was ecstatic with the spaciousness and variety of plants, birds and trees. The evenings were surreal with the many ambient lights throughout the garden all under the inky black skies shimmering with zillions of bright stars. And the air is so clean, fresh and invigorating. A wonderful place to relax!

We chose Rydal Cottage because we needed some peaceful time away from our busy city lives, and that’s exactly what we got! The cottage is quaint and nestled in the most beautiful gardens. Lovely to have a local pub in walking distance to have a quiet beer and a meal. We did a bit of discovering of the local towns and even visited the Hydro Majestic. The cottage had everything we needed.

The cottage & the beautiful garden it is set in is a perfect escape, and the fact it is dog-friendly, is a major bonus. Everything you need is provided, and it is immaculate.

Rydal cottage was the perfect country escape from Sydney. It was away from the summer ☀️ heat. I slept very peacefuly in the fresh air. The bath was relaxing and the fire 🔥 kept it cosy.

The cottage was so cute and welcoming. Loved everything about it and the gardens. Would love to return in a different season to see how the garden changes.

This was a lovely cottage set in a spectacular garden. A highlight of every day was the visits from the local king parrots every afternoon. The location was a great base to explore that particular corner of the mountains/central west.

Overall, quite an enjoyable stay. Our dog loved the space to run around, as well as the opportunity to sit on the sofa (with sheets provided). The garden was beautiful, as were the flowers. We were also kindly given a late checkout. Nb - our dog ran off to the owner’s house a few times which wasn’t a massive issue - but would be good to have a fence in between ‘our space’ and the common areas/owner’s space. Also, would be good if could just leave the dishwasher on prior to leaving (vs also needing to empty). Small issue but just wanted to note. But overall, we enjoyed it. :)
