Friendly staff, clean room.

Food was unacceptable quality and quantity, even ordered from the a la cart menu to get the same disappointment...poor internet, no one to meet us on arrival, had to leave a day earlier than planned...

The room had new furniture and was clean. The pool was of good size. The hotel has its own parking and there was also more space to park in front of it. The staff was polite. You can have a nice walk around the lake nearby.

The room was not soundproofed at all, so you could hear everything that was happening in the hotel at all times, making it difficult to relax and, sometimes, sleep. For the whole week we were there the room was cleaned only once and the breakfast was very poor - we expected much more for the price of the hotel. There are no mosquito nets on the windows.

The location was very nice, our family studio had a lovely view of the lake. The staff were very friendly, parking was easy and while the location felt remote it actually doesn't take too long to walk to the centre of Tryavna.

The only thing I didn't like was the "wet bathroom" - where there is no shower cubicle so when you have a shower the entire bathroom floor becomes wet, which is unpleasant, unhealthy and dangerous. Once one person has a shower, the bathroom becomes like a swimming pool for anyone else who wants to use it next, even if only to clean your teeth at the hand basin or use the toilet, the whole floor is wet and takes hours to dry. It is a terrible and impractical cheap design that sadly is common throughout Bulgaria, frankly it should be made illegal to allow new buildings to skimp on cost doing this.

The quiet situation and restaurant overlooking the lake. The swimming pool is lovely, with a great view and the staff very informal and friendly. The railway station and delightful town are a short walk away.

The food in the restaurant was mediocre. Bed sheets were too slippery and thin, constantly piled up as you turn around.
